Oh gosh. This was the worst pedicure I ever had. They didn't use the purple brick and said it would be an additional $10 to exfoliate. They barely had our feet submerged before starting i the pedi. I don't know how they got good reviews. It was very deceiving. Would not go back. read more

They did a good job on my nails but overcharged me. Should have came to $90 but they charged extra to take off gel and cut down my nails. Cutting down nails is always part of a fill. Then bc I used card, another one xtra fee. Might as well go To Brentwood bc they charge just as much. read more

First i was getting a pedicure and it seemed very rushed, not to good of a job for what i was paying. Second i had acrylic nails on and had cut them down to make it easier for them to take off.... A NEW file was used for my nails (a big must for me) and the sanitizing immediately after a tool was used on me. The people working there are so crazy sweet. Well, I was going to leave 2 stars because my toe nails looked good, but just looked down & realized another one was smudged. Tbo the whole experience was less than pleasant. I don't treat myself often because... well because I'm a broke ass beeyatch that can do my own nails. But my husband bought me a gift certificate for Mother's Day & I do like to be pampered & I had a wedding to attend, so in I went. What a bummer. The nail polish selection was all obviously old. And don't tell me you don't know what old nail polish in a bottle looks like, because we all do. But anyways, I forged ahead (gift certificate) and selected a light yellow color to match the light blue dress I'm wearing to the wedding. Got in the chair & was chastised for the bad job the person had done on my nails before. (It was me.) Does anyone ever get foot ticklish when they start scrubbing the bottom of your foot? Because I do & I jerked a little bit - I swear, nothing exaggerated- but the tech told me I "was killing him." Omg! This never happened here before? So he paints my nails... Not great. But at this point I'm scared of making him any more mad. They're smudged. But this is my fault because I was in a hurry. (I wasn't.) Next, I was told the reason it smudged was because I picked a light color. (No, it was old polish.) Went to pay & it was immediately apparent he was mad I was using a gift certificate. I tipped because I'm a service worker myself, but if you're coming in here to get a little pampering, don't. Just don't. He hates you. Or hates me. This is the go to nail salon in Smyrna hands down and I have attempt about 5 other nail salons. (As Walk-in) Everyone is really nice and appreciate. They offer you complimentary drinks and the place interior is gorgeous compared to other local shops that do not put effort or money into salon presentation! They for sure value customer service and take their time with clients and walk-ins. I did not feel like I was robbed for my money and I received the service that I wanted without having to debate with nail tech. The wait time is a little longer, but it's worth it when your spending your hard earned money. I have had 3 sets of acrylic nails break here because the apex isn't done right. They will rush your eye brow waxes and leave one arched and the other rounded. Ive been coming to Makestic since about 2014. I love them! The only complaint is the pricing. When I first started coming the prices were comparable, they have now sky rocketed. My typical pedicure with shellac has now gone up to $55 because the deluxe pedicure ($45) does not include polish. Guess you'd better get a regular pedicure ($35) and add the polish, you'll come out cheaper. I used to come every 2 wks, but with the pricing, I'm lucky to come once every 2-3 mo read more

I've had great and bad services here. I paid the same amount for a fill as I did a full set. In fact...5 bank statements and all are different pricing...ripping me off maybe? The sides are coming up after 1 week, I go for a fix and before the total of the 2 week mark I decided just to get a new set...I shouldn't had to have paid but I did! 2 weeks and 3 trips! Then I get a pedi with cold water, 4 out of 10 toes cut and still have the same dry skin. The massage was like a rub only...nothing more. I get pedis often but not here because I've watched quick jobs being done while I get my nails done. I only did it because someone else paid...I will go back to my pedi place in the future. Also- what's up with the customer being blamed for any mistakes or blemishes...take credit for the wrong doing and customers will be more appreciative! read more

I walked in with an appointment and was taken to my chair immediately. Then, I got to sit and relax while the water softened my feet so they could be worked on. A pet peeve of mine has been when you are taken in and your feet are barely wet before they start to work. Not so with this nail spa. My feet soaked. I really appreciated this because I did not feel rushed and pushed through the entire pedi experience. Also, they don't do a lot of the weird scrub stuff with tools that tickle your feet. I hate that stuff. I totally enjoyed the experience and the technician did not cut my toes. I had a deluxe pedi and it was enjoyable from beginning to end. I haven't had that in a long time. I just recently moved to the area and wanted to try it. Hubby and I have been wanting to get our toes done, but our scheduled has been off. Today we finally made the time to set up a date and get our feet done. Walked in got greeted by a man. Got us in quick. Sat us down and offered us wine, water or soda of our choice, usually I go for the wine, but since I just got done with gym I figured I need to stay hydrated. After I got my water. I had to decide what package I wanted. Since my feet wasn't bad I decided to get a $35 Majestic Pedi package included all the features of a basic pedicure along with exfoliating sugar scrub, massage lotion with hot oil, hot towel wrap and a choice of color. Okay let me tell you this $35 package felt like a $50 package. Some places rush you so they can move on the nexts person but NOT Ny, she took care of me and took her time. Definitely coming back!!! I got my nails done for prom. Literally 2 days after I had a nail break every day every since. I tried to get a refund because I can't have nails at work and they wouldn't give me that or a gift card. My nails were $48 and they broke 2 days after I got them. I have never had this problem. When I first went in to get my nails done everyone was extremely nice. Unfortunately the nail tech cut my cuticle and it became infected. Shame on me for entrusting a licensed nail tech with my hands right... Well to make a long story short I went to my Doctor to get my nail looked at and was prescribed antibiotics. I then returned to Majestic nails to inform them of the issue. All customer service left everyone faces. I spoke quietly to make sure only the manager could hear me...but management became loud and very disrespectful in return. She blamed me for getting the cut and informed me they don't make mistakes.
