I will start by saying Maritza is a sweet person, i did…read moreenjoy working with her, but i do not appreciate how things went down the day of my wedding. I will say the ball like centerpiece and my table cascading flowers were beautiful but it stops there. Yes she is sweet but she is also very busy. Very hard to get a timely appointment, but i guess that's understandable. Regarding my wedding , she provided me fake flowers when i was greeting each guest table i noticed real flowers were mixed with fake, when i paid for REAL. No where on my contract does it state fake flowers will be used, but on my wedding day at mother in-law table once i got close up it looked so thick so I leaned in close, and I touched it just to make sure it was fake because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was in a state of total disbelief. Now during my mock up she did use a mix of fake flowers but she told me that she didn't have enough fresh flowers in the store to finish the mock up, and I thought that was the reason she used fake flowers during the mock up. Keep in mind I'm near sighted I didn't have my glasses on so I had to get close up of everything. At the venue a lot of the the center peices looked like they were thrown together very sloppy it didn't even look like my vision or what she showed me in the store for my mock up it was sooo sloppy. Some of the centerpieces even leaned to the side the halo centerpieces had gaps it looked flowers was missing like it wasn't enough flowers. At the top of some of my centerpieces they wasn't even finish even underneath them. I have a picture actually a video that I took of the centerpieces. My bridesmaid bouquets seems rushed and whatever dye that was use dripped on the girls dress and had pink stains all on their dress. It was like it needed more time to dry or something. Now The size was totally off the bouquets she delivered were nice but very small it was not the size bouquets I paid for or the Bouquet I showed her in the pictures the size was totally off it looked like junior bridesmaid Bouquets . I've been thinking if I should sue her I'm still undecided i paid a little more then 6k I'm hurt

But what I really appreciated was the planning process. She was so considerate and made the planning so easy. I really had no idea what kind of flowers I wanted and only had vague ideas/pictures for her, but she really did all the work to make the venue look beautiful! From the consultations to the booking and the wedding day, she was really transparent and reliable about everything. I felt she keenly listened to what I wanted and respected my vision for the wedding but also provided her expertise and advice. Even when I was very stressed from the wedding planning, I always felt assured about Mitali. (I constantly complained about other vendors and planning processes to my fiance, but I constantly told him how booking Daydream Floral was the best decision for our wedding planning cuz how helpful and easy Mitali made it). Very displeased with my daughters wedding flower arrangements. The flowers for the venue were equally bad. I think for the money, not worth it...I paid close to $5000, I only had 67 people. When my first daughter got married she paid 4000, she had 200 people and they were stunning. They lasted for days. These were all garbage the next day. Her excuse was because it was hot. My friend's daughter got married in Florida last week and her flowers were stunning and her ceremony was outside. The only reason I picked Mitali was because she had good reviews and my daughters vision were garlands. When I called her for an explanation she said she had Multiple events and she got somebody else to do it..Maybe she used to be good not anymore. For Mitali to say that she tried to rectify the problem by sending my daughter a bouquet of flowers after the wedding was ridiculous. She ruined the vision I had for my her wedding .I paid a lot of money to be ripped off. I am making everybody aware that they were terrible and the pictures prove it. The idea that she blaming the condition of her flowers on the weather is absurd I'm considering taking her to court. Also, I have proof from our emails of what I wanted for the church.I did not realize Mitali's only been in business two years. Found Melarosa as a recommendation through my wedding caterer and boy was it one of the best…read morechoices we made for our NYC wedding. The entire process was super smooth - from drafting up and negotiating a contract to coming up a for a vision for the wedding many months out and then finally looking at the flowers closer to the wedding date. We had multiple visits to the flower district to see and pick the flowers - different from other florists I met with who usually don't bring you directly to the flowers! Could tell right away after the 1st visit to the flower district that not only is she a delightful vendor to work with but she is herself such a great customer - she has great relationships with the flower shops. The final products blew my mind away. The personal flowers (bouquets) were absolutely gorgeous and bountiful (she doesn't skimp on the flowers!) My centerpieces were cherry blossom branches (wedding was in May) and she did such a gorgeous job that some guests actually asked me if they could take a branch or two home. She listens to your vision and makes it come to life. Just trust her. Sometimes it's hard to envision how the final product will come out but I promise you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!
