Usually we melt under the summer heat and humidity, this year it was actually cooler than most years and it actually rained lightly to provide even more relief from the heat. The event was actually a little smaller with less vendors from past years but it was just as entertaining as ever. We recognized many of the artists and their works from previous visits. It was fun to shop at this locally produced arts fair and see the talent we have in Hawaii, very Impressive. Finally ,I really enjoyed purchasing food from the food trucks and not have to purchase scripts first. We definitely spent more because of this.

Located in the park side of Haleiwa beach, tents are set up with beautiful talented arts of Hawaii! From jewelry, paintings, photography, to hand crafted arts such as ceramics, wood work, glass art, and everything in between! There is also live entertainment, and keiki activities available. On one end of the park, there are a few food vendors too. This is a well organized event. Restrooms, first aid, water, and information booths are readily available. I love art! Especially local art! It is an expression of the artist, the culture, it speaks a thousands words! Although many of the artists have their works displayed at various galleries around the island, some of the art is at a better price and you'll be paying the artist directly for their hard work, sweat and tears. And you get to meet the artist and have them sign your new art piece! Parking is plentiful, but it does fill up fast, but it also turns over fast. Come early for the good pieces. It is out in the sun, so be sure to wear reef safe sunscreen, sun protection such as hats, sun glasses. This is a great place to get yourself some new art!

It was crowded and busy but not too bad. Plenty of vendors, good variety of goods being sold. Clothing, jewelry, food, pet clothing, art, and more. They added more vendors on the 3rd floor, so there was an abundance of choices. Did some Christmas and birthday shopping, also got some omiyage to send to the mainland. Happy! The supposed "VIP" experience was anything but that-- incredibly long line to get in, long lines inside, and limited inventory. There was absolutely nothing special about this $25 entry. So let me tell you that I was presently surprised how good the Poke Bowl and Flying Saucer was especially considering it was probably made by volunteers. PARKING: $3. When we went in the afternoon it wasn't hard at all to find parking. Loved that there was a lot of handicap parking that was really close to the actual event. SUGGESTION: I would have loved to see local fruits & vegetables and maybe baked goods for sale. Definitely will come back next year.

How it's the same but NOT the same lol. Like every one else you have power cards and gone are the scrips. My favorite ride I still the zipper. Now coming from a father perspective.....aka wallet.....WOOF lol. $9 parking, rides and games are few bucks or more per person. Food is a whooping $15-20+ per meal lol. A Hundo $$ don't last very long......and I only have my wife and son. We had the gyro and waffle fries, forget the spots name....but that was delicious. . Greet job to all you parents with more kids, haha. However being able to see the utter joy, excitement, and fun my son had on that evening makes it all worth it..........BUT not again until next year haha.

So it's 200 points for $20 and 1500 points for $100. All rides average 30points and that's only because Sunday 12n-6pm is at a discount. It could be more in the evening. Compared to long time ago there's less rides and game booths. The pre-paid cards is also good for games and food booths . They do not except any cash at the game booths anymore. It was a new experience for me but I guess it's easier that way plus more efficient. It was very hot on a Sunday afternoon but my grand nephew had fun that's the main thing . We also had pizza and cotton candy to bring home . I guess due to Covid19 it's hard to maintain workers so EK Fernandez have to go on a smaller scale carnival.
