The farm has about 30 animals. 6 pigs, 2 ducks, 3 turkeys, 2 cows, 4 goats, 1 peacock,4 sheeps,4 bunnys, few chickens No toilet. Have to bring your own food to feed the animals . Really muddy. No way to walk around without getting dirt. no instructions so my mom have to walk on the other side and the owner raised her voice to her. the farm owner will only give information when you paying for all the information. As you know I'm a huge animal lover, so of course, I was so thrilled when I found this gem during my researchin' for must-dos in Hawaii (Oahu)! I asked my sister if she would be interested in this, and she said, "Yes, it sounds fun." So I immediately booked a reservation for us towards the early evening (the last time slot) of the day. I'm so glad that I chose that time as it wasn't too hot/bright so it's cooler. We got there a little bit earlier than our appointed time, but Denise told us that we can start. She was very friendly, informative, and just a lovely person. I absolutely love love love the experience! We started with the bunnies first because they're so freakin' cute! We got to feed them as we brought some fruits and veggies from Safeway before we came. I picked one up and we got take some pics/videos with them. There were birds next to the bunnies and they were pretty. It was very sad hearing the story about one of the birds (I forgot the name of the bird.. sorry!) as he lived off his on poop for a couple years as his person passed away. It's the one that's always screeching/screaming. Then we visited the little bb cows (calves? Is that what they're called?), and I got to feed them the feed. Then we checked out the goats and sheeps. The goats were really aggressive with wanting to get the food, and they will bump into each other. Then we visited the ducks and piggies. There were also turkeys there as well. The fruits and veggies that we got from Safeway were strawberries, lettuce, and carrots. My ultimate favorite part was that they let us bottle feed the bb cows. There were like 4-6 big bottles of milk to feed the bb cows. I tried it first, and then I let my sis try, but she only lasted holding it for like 2 minutes until she said that it was too heavy. So I ended up doing that mostly which was really awesome! I absolutely loved it as it was such an amazing experience. Hehe.. We came here on a Thursday and was greeted by Uncle Bubu, he was very welcoming and helpful. We had stopped at the local grocery store to pickup some produce as the kids were excited to "feed some animals". The kids were beyond happy with there experience here. Lawrence Lovestock, located in the Kahaluu area, is a family-owned livestock zoo that is interactive and educational for children AND adults. This is a fairly new petting zoo as this idea came into fruition when they began rehoming as well as rescuing some from being slaughtered. They decided to open their doors of their private menagerie to the public few months ago at the encouragement of their friends and have been successful since then. My daughter-in-law was the one who informed us of this petting zoo, which she was able to get us tickets that also included a light lunch and refreshments. Our tour was led by Denise (the owner) daughter-in-law, Alicia along with her two sons. As we walked around, the owner, Denise shared they are looking to continually improve to make sure their "Lovestock" is taken care, which is obvious because everything is spaced apart and clean! On a side note, they are actually considering Alpacas too! Come and see the different animals. You can touch and feed their animal residents, and view up close. Some of the farm animals you'll see include different type of pigs; lambs; goats; chickens; turkeys; rabbits. Besides visiting with the local farm animal residents, you can relax on their picnic benches under a small tent pavilion, enjoy the scenery of the Koolau Mountains, learn about the family history and their land, and enjoy their light refreshments that also includes fruits that they've grown on their own land. Overall, this is a family-oriented and educational experience you won't soon forget. My son and I visited LAWRENCE LOVEstock on the island of Oahu. They recently opened up their family Farm to visitors that want to have a hands-on experience with animals. Some of the animals are pigs rescued from a slaughterhouse, a bunny with cerebral palsy, and three baby chicks we also saw their beautiful dogs, turkeys, goats, and parrots. reed was sad leaving. waited since March to finally visit and I am so happy they finally opened up! the family is welcoming and very kind. our tour guide Alicia shared so much knowledge about the animals. she also talked about the history of the land and how the farm came to be. Yesterday we had the privilege of going to visit Lawrence Love Stock and let me just start off by saying WE LOVED IT! Alicia and Denise we're so welcoming when we arrived. She gave us a little bit of history about the farm and they introduced us to all of their animal family. My son was so excited to touch and feed all the animals. The chickens were his favorites! He wanted to carry all the chickens, he even liked the Turkey! The animals all seem very happy there and are very well fed. They get to eat fresh fruits picked from their own trees and get lots of love! Took a tour of this beautiful farm this past week,upon arriving there I was taken aback by the views that surrounded the farm, they are breathtaking, set in the mountains, so green and untouched, I could have pitched a tent there and never left. let me start off by saying that I LOVE this family! They make you truly feel like you are apart of their Ohana from the moment you pull into the driveway. Alicia is so kind, so patient and very knowledgeable about all the farm babies. My son has asperghers and usually has a hard time communicating or fitting in, but oh my goodness did he blossom on this farm. He listened to all the information and learned the names of each animal, he enjoyed feeding them learning so much about them. Alicia was so incredibly patient with him, let him lead which animal we visited next, and answered all of his questions. Her two boys were so kind with him as well, taking him around and showing him so much. All of the animals are so loved here, anyone who comes to Oahu should made a visit to Lawrence Lovestock farm because this gem is truly filled with Aloha Spirit. When we left, my son hugged Alicia, my eyes filled with tears because he barely ever lets us touch him, so to hug someone who two hours before was a stranger to him, was huge! Okay let me start off by saying if I could give ten stars I would!!! This isn't any normal petting zoo, this is a family owned farm where you're instantly greeted with aloha! From booking and customer service to how gentle and patient the Ohana was with my 3 year old, it was truly one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. They don't rush you at all and still make sure you get to see all the animals! The farm is really beautiful too and you can tell all the animals are spoiled with love! I brought my daughter here for her third birthday because I wanted her to be in nature and around animals she loves and Chuck E. My friends and I planned a petting zoo day with Lawrence Lovestock. Our kids LOVED every moment of it. It even brought out the inner child in me, contemplating which animal I was going to pick up on my way home. All the animals there are so freaking cute! I literally love them all! My girls had a blast. The scenery around the sanctuary is beautiful. At first you're greeted by the nicest kids who get you parked and situated. The owner is so sweet and shows you around and then lets you go to explore and pet the animals, turkey, pigs, ducks, chickens, goats, sheep, bunnies. If you are in Oahu and love animals or have kids who love animals this is a must visit farm! The owners are kind and very knowledgeable. My girls, ages 4 and 6 were able to hold and pet sheep, goats, pigs, turkeys, ducks, and many kids of chickens. They learned so much about the animals. When we returned home from vacation I asked them what was their favorite part of the trip: stand up paddle board, surfing, Mickey and Minnie at Aulani and they both said visiting the farm! Absolutely amazing ... The lamb think they are dogs and want to run around with the dogs. The pigs are smart, cute and loves to be scratched and sit for their treats. The goats, they like to perform "king of the hill" when you come to visit and will put on a show for you. They have leashes so you can walk the goats.. The turkey does a dance that resembles a rain dance. The rabbits are so adorable and I swear they smile when taking pictures. The chickens and ducks are pampered princesses..
