When he walked out from the back of the grooming salon I noticed he was walking extremely slow. I thought he was doing that because he was afraid of the other dogs. He cried as he jumped out of the car and walked toward the house. When we enter the house, I immediately assessed him, I found that 3 out of all 4 of his paws had been burned, as shown in the photos. The groomer explained it away, offered to refund me, and suggested that I bring him to my Veterinarian. I was told this happens normally around the feet, not sure in who's world! His first groom with us happened at another salon where they shaved his coat. After trying two other places that offered hand stripping but did not use the proper technique, we finally found Furlesque. Niki knows how to properly hand strip and the difference in Quincy's coat shows. His coat looks healthy and correct again, even at 10 years old. Quincy gets nervous during grooming, but the team shows patience and takes their time with him. We appreciate the care they give him. I first brought our cat in who had been misdiagnosed by the big vet company. They had listed several tests he needed including a very expensive $800 ultrasound. Dr. Brian examined the cat, took an x-ray there in office for a very reasonable price, and showed me on the X-ray what my cat's problem was. He recommended a change in diet which has completely resolved my cat's problem. I brought in one of our dogs, and again, a veterinarian office with multiple locations, had misdiagnosed her with likely Cushing's disease. Dr. Brian ran additional blood work and ruled out Cushing's disease. His prices are fair and he has never recommended something that was outrageously expensive. I appreciate his honesty, his follow up phone calls which explain all of the test results, and showing photos on his computer of what a dog with Cushing's disease actually looks like.
