I had a great experience with Makeup by Ana B for my wedding hair and makeup trial. Karolina was very responsive with coordinating the scheduling. She was able to plan with the artists to accommodate my schedule and start the session earlier than originally planned. Ana did my hair trial, and it turned out beautifully. She is very personable to work with. She took my Pintrest inspiration photos and ideas and turned it into real life. The hair process took about an hour. Then I had my makeup done with Shirley. She did a great job! I went with the airbrush makeup and a light smoky eye with no shimmer on the eyelid. She used individual lashes for me because the lash strip looked too bulky/dramatic. The makeup took an hour, as well. The final look was amazing! Everyone was very attentive and pleasant to work with. The studio is very clean and cutely decorated. Got my hair and makeup done for an outdoor event scheduled on a drizzly day. So it's tough to do a review for that. The humidity is a challenge. But then. That's why you pay to have someone take care of you with the right hand and the right product, right? After 2 hours the lash glue came undone and my hair was totally flat. I know. Hala and Lexi were phenomenal - very professional, diligent and took the necessary precautions for my small COVID wedding in 2020. They did a great job and I felt beautiful. I was so grateful that they were still willing come given the circumstances and it only made me that much more excited to work with them again in 2021 for our larger wedding.
