My makeup was a beautiful subtle smokey eye just like I wanted but horribly attempted to communicate with about 5 "something like this, but not this" pictures. The makeup she used was of the highest quality- brands I could never justify buying for myself- and yet the prices were beyond reasonable. She curled my hair and left it down just like I asked for, but I was convinced it wouldn't last past the ceremony. Somehow my stick straight hair maintained the most gorgeous, flowing curls all night despite being out in the snowstorm for over an hour. My husband, who swore he hates liquid foundation and curls on me because they always "look fake", couldn't shut up about how beautiful I was.
