The day of my wedding, she had extremely poor planning and time management, and decided it was smart to start me, the bride, last. That resulted in me literally being late, with her rushing to finish. The end result was a mess, it was awful. When I texted her photos afterwards politely expressing my disappointment (with trial and wedding photos attached), she did not offer to refund me but instead offered to redo my hair and makeup again for wedding photo retakes - strange, as how I clearly could not retake photos from that day and had no plans to pay tons of money for another post-wedding photo shoot?? Would have preferred my money back. Or better planning to begin with.

We liked the overall look; it was exactly what we wanted. She arrived at 5:30am since we wanted to be ready by 8, and was super friendly and energetic, despite the early start. She was also flexible and was able to do my mother's makeup as a last minute request. She gave me a little sample of the lip product, after I mentioned that I looked for it, but it was sold out. It was a very kind gesture to help make our day a little smoother.

I did a makeup trial for our engagement photo session a few months before the wedding, and Crystal created a natural look that accentuated my best features. Crystal was able to replicate the same look for the wedding. I received many compliments on my makeup in the engagement photos and on my wedding day. Thank you, Crystal! In addition to being a top-notch makeup artist, Crystal was a pleasure to work with -- she was responsive to emails and flexible with scheduling (about a week before the wedding, I realized that it would be better if she could start at 9 am on our wedding day instead of the previously agreed upon 10:30 am, and she was able to accommodate the change). Also, Crystal's good taste in music may not seem particularly relevant in this situation, but the music she streamed during the trial and wedding makeup sessions helped create a cheerful and celebratory mood, which helped me relax. I am hoping that one of my friends will get engaged soon SO that I could recommend Crystal. :)
