Prior to our wedding day, I met with Shannon and Danielle about my wants/needs for the day of and they were just a joy to work with. Our conversation flowed smoothly and you can see their passion in their work. When my Mom also wanted a trial done before the day, they accommodated her needs (especially concerns regarding mask usage and COVID). On the day of the wedding, they arrived on-time and were patient with my group; many who wanted "eyes only" done for the wedding due to mask usage. We had wonderful conversations the day of the wedding, and tons of laughter! When most of us asked for natural/neutral tones, Shannon delivered on her ability to make it work for each of our skin tones. Also, if you have questions or concerns about fake lashes, DON'T. The lashes that Shannon uses are AMAZING!!!! They don't look fake or gaudy, they look natural and beautiful! They accommodated the needs of limited hairspray (my husband is allergic) as well as ensured they had latex-free lash glue for one of my allergic bridesmaids, Truly a joy to work with! Melissa took such care and effort with my hair. She also asked me my preferences about whether I wanted the front tresses up or down.. I told her up and then realized as she was almost done that I should have said I wanted them down. She refused to let me just say "No it's alright" and redid the entire braid. I have never felt more beautiful in all my life. I can't wait to see the pictures. Beyond their skill, they are lovely to work with and chat to. They definitely are in the right profession and I recommend them very highly.

She told me what she would be doing and I closed my eyes and and thought happy thoughts as she massaged my head during the hair washing and then again, during the start of the hair cutting. She knew I was a little apprehensive so she kept me talking and seemed very genuine when she asked me questions about my kids, and life etc. As she worked she asked me what I thought and made sure that's what I wanted. Very sweet girl. When she was done I asked her to add a little volume to the top of my flat head and without hesitation she did that and once she was all done, I LOVED it! Very happy with Charlotte who by the way added me to her Monday schedule when it's super difficult to find someone! Also very happy with Jenn who was very prompt in returning my email. She also worked with my schedule because I work nights and I need the latest appointment available so I'm sure she had to coordinate with Charlotte. I had to change one of my choices because I went out on a date with my husband and she was sweet telling me to have a great night with him. She could have just ignored that but she chose to add a little bit of personality to what could have been a very impersonal email. That says a lot to me. I'll definitely be using Charlotte's services again!

I booked online and even added the deep conditioning treatment and head massage because I wanted the full experience. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of my expectations. When I arrived, there was no greeting or welcome, just someone eventually looking up to check me in. The waiting benches were also surprisingly uncomfortable, with the window ledges digging into my back. Once I was taken back, there was almost no communication. No "Is this your first time here?", no explanation of the process, no confirmation of the services I'd booked, and not even a quick check that the water temperature was comfortable. I also wasn't turned toward the mirror during the service, so I couldn't even see what was being done. The salon was unusually quiet overall, with very little interaction between stylists and clients, which made the atmosphere feel a bit impersonal. To make matters worse, my stylist realized only at checkout that she had forgotten to perform both of the add-on services I had paid for. She did issue me a credit after speaking with her manager, but since I had booked those services specifically for that visit, a future credit didn't really make up for the missed experience. The blowout itself was perfectly fine, but that's only part of why people book appointments like this. Most people can dry their own hair at home; the value is in feeling cared for, relaxed, and a little spoiled. I walked in excited for a special treat after a difficult few weeks and walked out feeling more disappointed than refreshed.
