Caden, the woman who did my hair, was essentially slapping the dye on my head, carrying globs of dye from the bowl to my hair, dripping it along the way. And then came the haircut. The worst I've ever had. I planned to take some off the top but after noticing that she had never cut a fade before I told her I didn't want the top cut. I left with a decent color job, and the sides of my head were cut completely different and uneven. It was horrendous. I will not be going back here again. And I do not recommend this particular hair dresser, at the very least, for a men's haircut.

I originally found her because I needed someone to help me fix my ombre job. The ombre got brassy really quickly and there were a lot of cheetah spots on the bottom layers. Stacee whipped up a special blend to help adjust the tone and keep my hair from falling out. The toner she applied smoothed out the color SO MUCH. She wanted to wait and give my hair a break before putting more color into it. I appreciated her care and advice! I followed up with her weeks later to re do the actual ombre. She did a beautiful cascade of deep chocolate color at my roots to the perfect medium honey brown at the tips. She feathered in the dye and hand painted the strands so it looked like natural swirls of color. I mean, never in my life has someone been able to replicate my exact vision. Melanie answered and was a complete sweetheart and said it'd be okay (she saved me from stressing over a loss of a prom hair appointment and trust me, I was freaking out!). I got there around 2:50 and I was done by 3:15 (I have very thick hair and wanted a updo). She worked fast and efficient while still conversing with me on a personal level. She finished at such a perfect time because I needed to be in my dress and out of there by 3:30. They were so kind to even let me change there!!! My receipt reflects a premium service labeled "Platinum AF." I paid $650 for what I believed would be master-level platinum blonding. Instead, approximately 70% of my foils were placed by an assistant who graduated cosmetology school in June 2024 and had only been working at the salon for three months. The lead stylist repeatedly stepped away to service other clients. She was not consistently present during application and did not meaningfully evaluate the foils until removal was nearly complete. The assistant also performed all foil removal. Platinum blonding is one of the most technically demanding chemical services in the industry. It requires precision placement, careful saturation, and close monitoring. That did not happen. The final result was objectively poor: * Large orange and yellow hot spots throughout * Uneven processing * The nape of my neck partially unhighlighted on one side * Patchy tonal inconsistency * Noticeable dryness and signs of chemical damage This was not a subtle "slightly off tone." This was visibly uneven, brassy, and inconsistent work -- especially unacceptable at this price point. When I expressed concern immediately in the chair, I was told it was "the lighting" and reassured it was platinum. I was not shown the back of my head before leaving. When I got home, my 14-year-old daughter walked in and said, "Your hair is yellow." I had not said a word to her. The issue was obvious. I returned the next day requesting a partial refund because I did not feel comfortable allowing additional bleach on already compromised hair. I was told refunds are against policy. Charging premium, specialist-level pricing while delegating the majority of a complex platinum service to a newly graduated assistant -- without clear and direct informed consent in the chair -- feels like a deceptive practice. Clients deserve transparency about who is performing a chemical service on their hair. If I am paying for a master blonding specialist, I expect that specialist to perform the work. At $650, there should be a clear transformation and a "wow" moment. Instead, I left with uneven, brassy, partially unprocessed hair and no accountability. Future clients should ask very clearly who will actually be performing their service before agreeing to premium pricing.

I've never complained, because her as a stylist isn't the issue why I am choosing a different salon. It's the customer service experience. When asked for other stylist if Tracey wasn't available I wasn't answered, only rebooked to a date I am not available. I asked for a phone call not communication over text and my request was simply ignored. For these two reasons customer service is important for me when I spend close to $400.00 every visit. I felt unappreciated and unwelcomed to this company.
