Prior to our wedding day, I met with Shannon and Danielle about my wants/needs for the day of and they were just a joy to work with. Our conversation flowed smoothly and you can see their passion in their work. When my Mom also wanted a trial done before the day, they accommodated her needs (especially concerns regarding mask usage and COVID). On the day of the wedding, they arrived on-time and were patient with my group; many who wanted "eyes only" done for the wedding due to mask usage. We had wonderful conversations the day of the wedding, and tons of laughter! When most of us asked for natural/neutral tones, Shannon delivered on her ability to make it work for each of our skin tones. Also, if you have questions or concerns about fake lashes, DON'T. The lashes that Shannon uses are AMAZING!!!! They don't look fake or gaudy, they look natural and beautiful! Melissa took such care and effort with my hair. She also asked me my preferences about whether I wanted the front tresses up or down.. I told her up and then realized as she was almost done that I should have said I wanted them down. She refused to let me just say "No it's alright" and redid the entire braid. I have never felt more beautiful in all my life. I can't wait to see the pictures. Beyond their skill, they are lovely to work with and chat to. They definitely are in the right profession and I recommend them very highly.

I went for a hair and makeup trial months ahead of the big day; while the hair was perfect, I had some notes to scale back the makeup. Makenzi really internalized that feedback and delivered the perfect face for the wedding day itself: understated, yet enhanced. It lasted all day and made me feel so confident. Perhaps more importantly, though, the moms were both so happy with their final product - and my mom can be tough to please! Makenzi didn't bat an eye when my mom asked for multiple tweaks to her eye makeup, and stayed right on schedule.
