I purchased this companies services 6 months ago. I can only write this review now because I dont live in that house or work in Philly anymore. This person and her crew came and cleaned my house for 8 hours, at least thats what they said but when I came to my house I found animal hair and stains all over the doors and floors. I took photos and sent to her and demanded a refund. She said I am scamming her and when I questioned more she threatened me and my family, implied that she knows where I am working and a bad review would be very bad for me and I should think about the consequences. I went to police since she knows where I used to live and filed a police report for her. I hired another cleaning company for less then half of what she charged and they cleaned the house beautifully. This person is mafia, scammer and charges you much more than other companies. read more

Employees steal from customers. On 3/16/20 an employee was caught stealing a Google Home Smart Device from my home. I contacted Anna and she made them give it back to me. Anna's initial response was literally, "Sorry for your inconvenience." The next day she said she had talked to the individual. Personally, I don't know why stealing is not an automatic grounds for IMMEDIATE termination. Anna's solution the next day was to bring back the same crew minus the individual I caught stealing. I told her that I didn't trust that crew. I gave Anna my grounds for continuing the job: 1. All new crew members 2. Anna onsite to supervise her crew. Anna decided that she would rather terminate our agreement and keep my $500 deposit. Outside of the theft, the crew showed little care with my items. Multiple items were dropped on the cement basement floor. I have given many more positive reviews than negative ones and I seek business with great reviews. All I can say is, "Wow!" Shawna came to clean my home today and she left the place absolutely spotless. I have two cats who are both super shedders, so this was no easy feat. There isn't a surface Shawna didn't clean! Additionally, I'm immunocompromised and worry about having people in the home during the Covid pandemic. Shawna wore a mask over her mouth and nose the entire time she was here. Shawna was prompt, thorough, and considerate of my work schedule. She also looked out for my cats to make sure they didn't escape when she opened the door to leave! As if this wasn't enough, Anna came at the end to inspect the work and make sure I was satisfied. Worst and most expensive cleaning job I've ever had. All they cared about was up selling me just kept demanding more and more money. The toilets weren't cleaned, nothing moved out of the way, rugs not vacuumed. It looks like nothing happened. Its a scam. read more

I understand that things happen. People call out sick and workers become unavailable, which can be challenging for any business. That said, unfortunately, we would not use this service again. We have a large house, a little over 2000sqft, and we needed someone to clean it before we moved into the home. The house wasn't filthy at all, but we wanted a deep clean, refrigerators, oven, floors, window sills, bathrooms (2). We have carpet on the second floor, but we didn't need them to vacuum it. All the other floors are hardwood. We were told we would get at least 2 cleaners, but when the cleaners never showed up at the agreed upon time, we reached out to the owner, who didn't call us ahead of time to explain the delay. Someone called out the night before, which left her short-staffed, so she had to send one person to do the job instead; the cleaner showed up over an hour after the original time, but she was polite and professional. It took the cleaner almost 12 hours to clean the house, and that's no exaggeration. In fact, it got so late, I just asked her to go home because I was exhausted and I needed to drive across town. Later, when I mentioned to the owner that I was blown away that it took so long, she said usually when people are moving in or out of a new place, the cleaners stay as long as it takes to get the job done. I respect that. But after almost 12 hours, the house was far from "pristine," which is what she promised her employee would deliver. Some of the window sills were clean, some were not. She had to go back and clean an entire part of the refrigerator she missed. The pantry shelves were not scrubbed clean. I ended up scrubbing them clean the next day. She did a mediocre cleaning job altogether, far from pristine, and definitely doesn't come close to justifying 12 hours of work. We all have bad days, and things out of our control can and will happen, but as a customer, I still expect quality service, and that's not what I paid for in the end. read more

These ladies worked miracles!!! My house was a disaster area; covered in cat fur, dusty and just being g lived in it needed a good deep clean! I had hired a different company a few months back but they had done a horrible job and between work, school and some family obligations I just don't have time to do much more than a quick wipe up. Anna and her girls made time within days of the first inquiry and did an incredible job! We had discussed pricing and details on exactly what I wanted done and she made it happen. She stayed inside my price limit and kept me updated throughout the job on anything that would be extra. I work nights so she scheduled perfectly so that they were finishing up as I got home. She gave me a walk through to make sure I was happy with the work and I was speechless! She also makes suggestions if you are interested in future services, which I had previously mentioned. I decided to have them come back every other week, it is completely worth it for the quality of work they do and at a great price!! Thank You ladies!!! Setting up cleaning time was easy enough which was a plus. Initial cleaning ($300) was great so I decided to purchase the 3 cleaning package including laundry ($450) with 1 free cleaning. After the second clean I noticed that the quality went down. The team was not thorough in detailing and just basically picked stuff off the ground and not so much putting away. The last cleaning that led to this review was the free one I was got after the 3 paid for. I was away for the weekend and arranged for my dog to be walked, which I guess the walkers didn't do a good job with because he had a couple accidents in the apt, which Anna requested me $60 for. Prior to this free clean, I noticed paw prints (same place, in a room that's ALWAYS closed as the dog isn't allowed) after the last two and hadn't said anything but it shows that they just vacuumed and not mop my hardwood floor. I had also asked that the clean laundry be hung up or put away (per the package which included laundry) but that did not happen the last two cleanings. The thing that bothered me most is that Anna notified me of my dog's accident and requested extra for cleaning, which is completely understandable, but she didn't clean it. I came home after a 10 hr red eye to a mess I had to clean myself despite paying for (she requested $60 for the "extra bad conditions" but ended up not cleaning it -- I understand that there MAY be thing even a cleaning service won't cover but don't REQUEST MONEY THEN NOT CLEAN) read more

Anna and her team (Veronica and Marie) was very accommodating with any requests. We had our house prep for another cleaner that fell through at the last minute. We called Anna and she quickly added us to the schedule. Her team arrived within 2 hours and did a deep clean of the whole house. They did a walkthrough to identify problem areas that must be addressed. They even pointed out areas that I didn't think of. Everything was thoroughly cleaned. Veronica and Marie were very professional and polite. They made sure I'm satisfied before leaving. I am going to schedule maintenance cleaning with them going forward. I cannot recommend Anna and her cleaning service. When I first contacted Making Life Easier, Anna got right back to me and set up a time to come over and give me an estimate. Anna's estimate on seeing the house was $350, and an assurance that future cleanings would be $125 (she also wrote this future rate on her business card). The initial cleaning was pricey, but we saw it as an investment, and Anna and an assistant did a thorough enough job cleaning the house. When I tried to contact Anna about scheduling a next cleaning, however, things became difficult. At first she told me she had not set her May schedule yet. I texted her with three possible days, but she never got back to me. I texted her again two weeks later. She said she was available but now she wanted $150 for the job. I reminded her that she had quoted future cleanings at $125, but she said that was only if I wrote her a review. Given her 20% upcharge at this point I said we were no longer interested in her services. It seems to me that Anna was very prompt in setting up the initial high-priced cleaning, but difficult and ultimately dishonest when it came to fulfilling the rest of the deal she had offered. We needed a very last minute move out clean. Originally had asked for Monday but the original times offered didn't look like it would work with our movers schedule so I picked a time for Tuesday. But they were so great and offered to let me text Monday and let them know how our movers were doing and they would try to squeeze us in. They were able to squeeze us in and did an amazing job. I think compared to some other quotes I got, this place is a little more expensive but it was worth every penny. They did a fantastic job and were so friendly and amazing working with us. read more

If you want to feel like you live in the Ritz-Carlton, hire Anna. We hired Making Life Easier to clean our apartment "within the next 4 days". After messaging over Yelp about what we were looking for, Anna (owner of Making Life Easier) arranged to stop by the next day to give us a quote for the work we wanted done. She walked through the apartment with me and took notes in each room. I also asked her to ignore one bedroom, which we didn't want her to clean. Anna said she would get the buildup off the glass shower doors in each bathroom, but I told her not to worry about that as I had tried and never been successful. Two days later, Anna was here to clean. We had told Anna what times would work for us and she communicated to let us know exactly when she would be arriving which... made our life way easier! Before Anna left, she took us through a tour of each room to let us know what was done. She respected our privacy and did not clean in the bedroom that we asked her to leave as-is. I'm also happy to report that all of our shower doors are crystal clear!! We're in awe. Our kitchen is shining like the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. Every floor, sink, and countertop is sparkling clean. I'm so glad that I've finally found someone in this area who cares about my home as if it was their own.
