I just wanted to let you know that I am disappointed with what I was told and how it turned out by…read moreyour company. I repeatedly told Veronica, Bernadette that Karlos about needing my items delivered by April 4th, 2025 in Goodyear, Arizona. However, as time got closer to pickup, I was then told by Bernadette it was now by April 6th and the final delivery was on April 7th. I specifically used your company because of the agreement of delivery and the trust factor I had with Karlos. Another issue is when your company used another companies list of items instead of sending the individual to see for themselves. I was even told by Veronica that 5 days prior to pickup someone from your company would come to see what was being picked up and a better estimate would be calculated. That never happened! The day the load was picked up was March 24th, 2025; the gentleman who was in charge had mentioned he had approximately 255 items. Some of the items I told them not to take was still brought to Arizona. When my load was on the truck, I was given an estimate that my load had 13,500 pounds on the truck instead of a little over 9,000 pounds. I asked him how he determined that amount and he said it was because of where the boxes and items ended up in the back of his truck. What if all my boxes had feathers in them, the weight would not be the same no matter where they ended up in the truck. This caused me to be very upset. How can he determine this without knowing what the actual weight was from your company. He should never do that to people because that is wrong. It caused a lot of turmoil for me and your company. I would not recommend your company for moving or I would never use you again.

They were supposed to call 2 days prior to pickup to review inventory but NEVER did so I had to keep calling and emailing them. They don't answer their phones and never email you back. Day before I finally got someone to answer and Paul was SO rude that I wanted to review the list and had questions--curt and condescending--pathetic service. The packers somehow didn't realize my couch and chair needed to be wrapped even though they were on the inventory list and they charged me extra to wrap them--this should've already been included. Day my items are being picked up, my "account manager" calls to tell me they will deliver to my new place in 2 days so I rush to drive to my new place to be there. The Saturday everything should be delivered, I get a call from an Anastasia that the truck broke down in my new state and has to be fixed. Lucky for me, I put a tracker in my belongings and the truck never made it to my state but proceeded to sit in Atlanta for A WEEK!!!!!! I keep calling Laura, the account manager and if she answered her phone told me she is trying to get an answer. Well 5 more days go by and she NEVER EVEN GOT BACK TO ME. They then said they'd deliver the coming Saturday which was outside the quoted timeframe so they would credit a whopping $30 back. They finally did deliver but not all my stuff. They lost a piece of furniture!! Not to mention almost have my boxes were damaged with holes in them! What the heck did they do??!!? They claim they aren't a broker but the guys that delivered my stuff told me they actually are. So they lie to you, don't communicate, overcharge, and don't meet timings. "Upper management was supposed to contact me regarding all these issues but big shocker, no one has. If I hadn't have but a tracker in my stuff, I would never had know wager it was for over a week! Save yourself the stress, money, and safety of your goods and NEVER USE COLONIAL!!!

You could keep that money and invest on your employees' training who pack the natural flowers vase in a kitchen household box. I had a terrible experience with this moving company, and unfortunately, I am still dealing with the consequences more than two weeks later. On June 12, 2026, two movers arrived at 8:30 a.m. for my move. Shortly afterward, the company called and asked if they could send two additional movers to speed up the process. I trusted their recommendation and agreed. Around 2:00 p.m., I had to leave. Everything seemed to be going well until my wife, who was at our new home, called me after checking our security cameras. She noticed that two of the movers were standing around talking instead of working. Around the same time, my neighbor called to complain that the moving truck was blocking her driveway. I contacted the office, and they apologized. While these issues were frustrating, I considered them manageable. When the movers arrived at my new home, they asked me to pay before unloading, which I understood was their policy. They also informed me that I would be charged until 6:45 p.m. and that any unused time would be refunded if the job was completed earlier. The real problems began after the move was finished. One of the movers, who was professional and courteous throughout the day, informed me that my bed headboard had been damaged and showed me the damage. He also told me that the crew had finished one hour earlier than the time I was charged for. He called the office himself and advised me that I should receive a refund for one hour of labor for four movers ($240), plus an adjustment to the fuel charge, for a total refund of approximately $300. After the movers left, I immediately discovered that my brand-new 75-inch Samsung QLED TV had been severely damaged on the bottom-left corner. When I turned it on, half of the screen was black and unusable. This was a TV I had recently purchased so my family could enjoy watching the FIFA World Cup together. Today is June 27, 2026. More than 15 days after the move, I still have not received my final invoice, and I have not received the promised refund of approximately $300. I submitted a claim for both my damaged bed headboard and my TV. The settlement offer I received was not even enough to cover one-third of the TV's value. I did not accept or sign the settlement because I believe it is unfair and does not reflect the actual damage. I contacted customer service to dispute the settlement. After waiting on hold for nearly an hour, my call was disconnected. When I called back, I was told that my claim would be re-evaluated, but they made it clear that there was no guarantee the revised offer would be any closer to the actual value of my loss. The representative repeatedly told me that the settlement was based on the contract I signed, which compensates customers according to the weight of the damaged items rather than their actual value. My response was simple: I trusted this company. I trusted them when they asked to add two more movers to my job. I trusted them to handle my belongings with care. I never expected that they would damage my brand-new TV and then tell me that its value was determined by its weight. I also requested my invoice. I was transferred to another department, where I was told they were short-staffed and that my invoice would be sent the following day. That was over a week ago, and I still have not received it. More than two weeks after my move, I still don't have my invoice, I haven't received the promised refund, and my claim remains unresolved. This entire experience has completely broken my trust in this company. From the damaged property and broken promises to the lack of communication and poor customer service, I have spent more time chasing answers than enjoying my new home. Based on my experience, I don't recommend this company.

Disorganized and unreliable from start to finish…read more I clearly explained multiple times that this was not a full house move, only remaining items left by another company. That information was never documented, and I had to repeat it in every conversation, which caused ongoing confusion and an inaccurate estimate. I was told the movers would arrive sometime in the afternoon. Around 2:30, I texted for an ETA and was told they would call when they were 30 minutes out. Later, I was told their prior job ran long and that due to driver hour limits, they could only do part of the move. Shortly after, I was informed they were not coming at all due to a truck accident and would need to reschedule. No confirmed time was ever provided for the next day. Because I needed everything out by the 31st, I booked another company and attempted to cancel. I first texted my move contact and was told to call, but when I did, it was 5:42 PM and the office was already closed. I waited on hold for over 30 minutes and then sent a cancellation email. Only after I had already tried to cancel by phone and email did I receive a text saying they had everything ready for the morning, despite never giving me a confirmed arrival time. Poor communication, poor documentation, and inconsistent scheduling. I would not recommend.

After calling around to several moving companies and Jax and having no luck, we had Baymeadows Movers reccommened to us by multiple friends. They were curteous and professional over the phone when scheduling our appointment, and the price they quoted was lower than several others we had gotten online. The day of the move they showed up right on time (maybe even a few minutes early) and were so efficicent that they moved everything out of our 999 sq ft 3 bedroom and into the truck in about 30 minutes. We only had a couple miles to go, but all in all (with a coffee and donut break) they had us moved out and in by 10:30am - around 90 minutes. The workers were incredibly friendly and nice, and purposely tried to be fast so we could pay the minimum charge. Honestly, I cannot reccommend Baymeadows Movers enough for Jacksonville people needing help moving. It was well, well worth the few hundred we spent to have our entire house moved in under two hours, with nothing damaged. We will absolutely hire them again in the future, if we need movers.

But to that, upon inspection of the unit I would be assigned to, it was clear this business took very good care of the facility in both maintenance and cleanliness. Not only that, but the former assistant, now manager, Brittany, was amazing from the beginning! While assigning my space, she negotiated a fair deal for my space. This support has aided me on two other occasions thus helping me financially to be able continue renting space here, which I strongly wished to do. The ease of getting our things in and out of our spaces is solid - no issues here. Elevators and carts are available on both ends of the interior of the facility. Extra Space Storage has a wide variety of sizes in various space availability. These include, 5x5, 5x10, 10x7, 10x10, 10x20, 10x25, and 10x40. The 10x40 spaces are outside the facility and more than adequate size-wise to house RVs. This is an excellent business! I greatly appreciate the service and enthusiasm for the customer here. Their flexibility to aid their renters at times is highly appreciated too. Having great support from a stellar manager like Brittany always turns my visits here to a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage!
