What I would not like to see is the floor of this place under bright sunlight. Heck, pale moonlight might even reveal too much. This theater had its day. It use to be THE place to watch a movie. Now it's cheap entertainment for those on a budget or those wanting a night off the couch. Really, the only reason to watch a movie here is because Redbox was out of the particular movie that happened to be showing here. Or maybe you just want to sit in the dark and remember that time you watched The Empire Strike Back for the first time and try to forget about watching The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in there as well. The place is rundown but not "tacky". It, like many of us, got old.

This theater offers a projector on a sheet canvas that extends a few feet once the trailers stop. The picture is bleak/ gray and dim at best. Looks like something from the early 2000s. Look, I love going to the movies. It's the only place I can just get away. I come from NWA and major cities where people actually give a fuck about sitting in a theater. If you want a quiet experience, dont come here. If you want it to be clean or comfortable, dont come here. If you're look for a cheap matinee, then this might be it. ALL IN ALL 0 STARS. The popcorn is popped fresh (no old tasting oil like some other places I've been). The seats are comfortable and theater temperature was just right. We did have to ask them to turn up the volume a bit, but that is better than having it blaring loud like elsewhere... The only negative was the 3 "out of order" toilets (out of 5) in the ladies restroom. Kudos to the family that owns and operates this business- it was a great experience! We will be back!

I have won many things on Facebook and most businesses will accommodate if I can not pick up the prize or get the meals from restaurants until my days off work or schedule can accommodate.Sometime I need to get the day off to drive to another city or I want my son that lives out of town to join me. Not once have I been met with a "No" or bad customer service. Until now. I won 2 tickets to Tower Drive In. I asked them if they could move the tickets until I get paid so I could take my other 3 kids and get concessions. I also live almost an hour away from them so my son coming from out of town would be making close to a 3 hour trip to get from Fayetteville,to Fort Smith and than to Poteau. They do not understand that some people can not just drop what they are doing and be able to drive an hour away on one days notice. They post the drawing on Tuesday and announce the winners on Friday for tickets that can only be used that weekend and Friday or Saturday only. Ridiculous to give a 1/2 day notice. I wrote them a nice letter explaining my situation and asking if they could move the prize until another date.The reply back was very rude. With Blah,blah, blah. Preferential treatment. Blah Blah. It's called good customer service not preferential treatment. Perhaps Tower Drive In can learn from River City Bistro, Ozark Natural Foods and other businesses I've won from. It is better to accommodate a customer than lose a customer. I would never give this place my business again. I have all my PM's from these rude folks saved.Terrible customer service and business practices. The worst. To say that they can't accommodate the few because others will get mad is ridiculous. How would anyone even know? They just don't want to be courteous. Sad.
