We've seen a few different doctors (sometimes we aren't able to see his PCP) and everyone is very knowledge, cordial and kind. The nurses are all great and attempt to calm my son down who get a a bit nervous as he's only 2.5 (he started seeing his doctor at 18 months when we moved to NYC). At times during afternoon visits when they're busier the wait time can be a little long but that's fine. We are patient and things work out.

She instead is protecting her turf by disagreeing with the complainer. Wow, not objective at all. But her leadership is the reason the place is falling apart because she may not be taking the time to assess, nor, observe, or maybe she does not care which she has proven to me when we last spoke just recently. I guess the prestige of this hospital is the reason why this Director is so arrogant that she forgotten why she is there. I guess the perspective to save lives is not within her reach anymore. That is the reason the workers in the reception area is so rude is because they lack tact in their Leadership with Dr. Nina Priven. Mount Sinai should consider assessing another candidate to run the Ansonia location.

Wilson who worked as the front desk receptionist was always pleasant and accompanying when it came to scheduling appointments and retrieving test results. Also notable was Cheri, who helped out up front as well for the care of patients in the back. That all being said, the overall office's professionalism and utmost care of patients has drastically changed for the worse with the new additional staff that was brought in. I was unknowingly assigned to Dr Pulcheri. She seemed professional at first but had many issues from prescriptions not being filled correctly when requested, to months of unavailability to see me and falsifying medical records from teladoc calls. I tried my best to accommodate her derelict of job duties but to no success. I even tried to get the new receptionist Natalie, who was hired after Wilson, to help facilitate my health needs. At first it seemed like she could handle the fast paced and demanding position of answering phones. but that was short lived. She quickly became unprofessional and contentious on the phone. She would over talk me, cut me off in mid speech and wouldn't relay my messages to Dr Pulcheri. This went on for the past year. I had to ultimately make the hard decision to leave the East Medical Practice. No ill will towards Dr Lusky or others at the practice not mentioned in my review. I just can't continue arguing with an unsuited receptionist and a doctor who seems more concerned about her travel plans and personal obligations ( as she would tell me when I visited ) than of her patients, leaving them with no medical care or alternative support.

But Dr. Gregory Mark Mcwilliams is exactly what I was looking for in a doctor. Although I had a virtual visit, he was still a virtually professional and friendly doctor at the same time. I repeatedly heard from him that it was so encouraging to reach out to him in 10 days or reach out to me for more questions. I have never heard a doctor tell me to come to them. They always refer you to their assistants or secretaries. Again this was virtual, so I didn't get the full treatment, but I will say this Dr. McWilliams is my now new PCP and is worth visiting.

Dr Haber is truly the most caring and competent doctor I've ever had. It's BECAUSE he takes his time with his patients, that occasionally there is a wait to see him, but the flip side is that he is incredibly smart , very thorough and easy to talk to.....and in today's world where we can do much of our personal work / emails and games on our smart phones, having an occasional wait doesn't bother me because of the care and personal relationship which is so easy to develop with him. His two recent PA's Cathy and Jenifer have been SOO incredible... they have really been an asset to his practice. To me, it's a mark of a quintessential doctor to attract such talented, competent PA's / nurses to join his practice. (By the way I've never had to wait to see them!)... and feel just as confident/ comfortable when I've seen his PA's as I do with him. The office is intimate and relaxed... and you get the feeling of a authentic family doctor who puts his time / energy and assets into the personal care of his patients rather than a glitzy showy office. Dr Haber truly is very intelligent hyperactive energizer bunny who has laser focus and a fantastic "bedside manner" without typical "Doctor ego" ... he's approachable, easy to talk to about personal issues and extremely competent. But the level of care has dteriorated in some ways. 1.5-2 hour waits. Its months to see him or his PA or a nurse. I see Urgent Care more than him quite often. The level of communication has also greatly deteriorated. For important issues...I have to resend messages. When Im in his exam room, its great. He couldnt be a better. But the rest is quite troubling to a patient of 20 years.
