We went today, Monday 06/29. Lines were only about a 5-7 min wait time, if that. We mostly enjoyed the lazy river next to the big slides, they have a small current that pushes you through, along with fountains of water that spray you. Locker rentals were $17 for a small locker all day. Alcohol is expensive there too. Two draft beers and an Aquafina water was $27, so be warned. Cabanas are also available to rent, via online only to get the season pass discount. They have two locations, big surf which is along the side of hurricane bay, and the beach club cabanas, which are located near the lazy river. If you purchase the vip cabanas, it comes with 8 bottles of water, food service, I believe 4 souvenir beach towels, and a tote bag to keep with you. One thing I noticed that's changed since when I came here as a kid, the bathrooms are air conditioned now, they were also relatively pretty clean for being a theme park as well. I believe all together there are around 7 roller coasters, lots of water attractions, and of course the pay to play games. Will be back within the next few days

BUT, I enjoy watching my family enjoy them! There is a huge area for the little ones. Lots of rides like cars, monster trucks , blimps, etc and all of these are low on the thrill but high on the fun. My wife loves the roller coasters and they apparently have some good ones. The 5D movie theater is fun too. It's indoors, has moving chairs and effects like wind and vibrations. It was well received by all our kids. In the summer The water park is super awesome and huge. There are a hand full of places to eat and for the most part they are all the same quality - amusement park food and prices. Great place to spend time with your family or friends.

It was originally built in 1995 that has top speeds of 49 mph and reaches heights of 101 ft. The track length is 2,172 ft. Height requirements are min of 52 inches and max of 79 inches. Growing up in Louisville Kentucky kingdom was a big part of my childhood. I had season passes as early as I can remember and T3 being built 1995 I was around 11 years old when this ride debuted. I can remember being really excited for it when it came out. A roller coaster that does flips and your feet dangle? I was sold from day one. Overall it was a fun ride then and a fun ride now. Has solid speed, fun loops and brings some nostalgic feelings to me personally. I'm really glad that when Kentucky kingdom reopened after being shut down that they kept this ride here.

T3 is more or less known as a Vekoma SLC pretty much the most hated coaster amongst coaster enthusiasts as it's known for bashing your head back and forth between the restraints leaving you with a splitting headache but that's not the case here! This Vekoma SLC has over the shoulder straps connected to a lap bar so it takes away from that head bashing that we all love soo much that element alone is something I haven't found on any other Vekoma SLC in the United States! T3 has a super fun layout and it's a good coaster for the type that it is with just the restraints alone it's definitely in my opinion the best SLC out there as it has gotten rid of the head pain! Overall i don't think I've said this before about this type of coaster but I'll definitely look forward to my next ride on T3 because it's just that awesome!

The coaster was short, but very exhilarating. And when you leave, there's a HUGE chicken timer outside ! Splashin' Safari was /fine/. We went to the wave pool first, but didn't realize the waves were turned off for lifeguard training. Which was kind of annoying. We left for the other wave pool which was shut down for unknown reasons. It was so hot, I went to stand by a sprinkler just to get some cool water on my feet and got whistled at. Apparently the sprinklers were also not okay to play in ? Finally ended up opening back up and we got to enjoy the waves for awhile. The only water ride we went on was the wildebeest, which I was thoroughly unimpressed with. It shot water in my face/eyes several times. Unsure why it was rated the best lol The food was also pretty decently priced for what you get. I think we spent $30 total on food for the two of us. One of the pretzel stands we visited was "out of service", yet they still had a worker sitting in the hot sun manning it. I felt bad for him because he was in all black and it was HOT. The zoo isn't large, but it's big enough to spend a morning or afternoon there as a family. If you have mobility issues, golf carts are available for rent, but if you're in good health and wear the right shoes, you can easily walk and cover the whole zoo. The zoo has a few hills (it is Kentucky) so do wear comfortable shoes and prepare to walk unless you rent a golf cart. My favorite parts were petting the kangaroos and also seeing the sheep dog demonstration. Do pay attention to the times for demonstrations and animal shows; they are worth seeing and the times are a bit limited. You can also feed the goats and interact with the animals, which I enjoyed. We also toured the underground cave, which was a lot of fun but involved a lot of steps. Some of the steps were wet and steep, so be aware of that if you have mobility issues. If you're a parent of young kids or a person who enjoys animals and nature, Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo is a great attraction and worth a visit. It's not too far of a drive from Bowling Green, and a lot of schools and summer day camps visit on field trips.

This is because Beech Bend has an excellent thrilling coaster in Kentucky Rumbler, which is a relatively smooth wooden coaster that is filled with a mix of forces and airtime that will make you want to go on it again and again. Additionally, Beech Bend has some very interesting flat rides you generally only see at fairs, but here you ride them over and over again instead of having to pay per ride. Plus, admission is quite affordable, especially if you buy it in advance, and parking is free, so Beech Bend will not set you back a lot. With that in mind, Beech Bend, while it lacks the high profile coasters of the parks that surround it, is a nice, charming, and affordable small park that should not be missed if you are in the area.

Prices to get in the amusement/water park are $44.99 plus tax for anyone over 48" but there are a few offers that can get you in cheaper. I strongly suggest using a discount, as this park is not worth the full price. You are allowed to bring one water bottle per person and you should because there are limited areas of shade. The two star review is because of the following: First, like many of the prior reviews have stated, the rides are old, unkept, and rickety. A few are even dangerous. The Wild Mouse gave me a bruised leg and sore neck. The main attraction for thrill seekers is the Kentucky Rambler, which was closed when we were there. There were other rides closed too. Second, most of the snack huts were closed. The lines at the opened concessions were long and moved slow. Of course food is overpriced too. I would recommend bringing your lunch/snacks in a cooler and going outside the park for eating. They allow you to go and come with a stamp. There are shaded picnic tables outside the park if you bring your lunch. You can't bring coolers of food inside. Third, the park is overrun with tweens and teens. Ages 12 and up are allowed in without an adult. My 9 year old son rode the bumper cars and got bumped really hard by a unsupervised teenager. I was worried he may have gotten whiplash. Fourth, our experience with the staff was pleasant and the only reason we gave 2 stars instead of 1 star. The staff enforced the rules and took their jobs seriously. Many of them joked around with my son. In conclusion, if you are an area tween or teen with a season pass, this park may be worthwhile. If you have kiddos under 5 years old, there are a number of kiddie rides that are safe enough. The water park also has a nice little kids section. The free parking and free sunscreen is a plus. If you arrive when they open, lines for rides aren't long, especially on weekdays. Again, if you pay full price for your tickets and don't bring your own food, you will probably be disappointed. However, if you pack food and get a discount, you may be able to enjoy yourself if you fancy low budget fair rides. I recommend Holiday World, about an hour from Beech Bend, it's well worth the drive. Holiday World is clean and the rides are safe. If you go to Holiday World in May, your tickets would be cheaper than Beech Bend.

Located in the very back of the front side of the theme park inside a large building. It is actual the only all indoor ride at the whole park. In the past the movies have changed up. For years it seems like it was Dino island and then switched to angry birds. The latest on my most recent visit was a yogi bear movie/ride based off the most recent movie a few years back. Overall they are always fun and interactive ride for all ages. For little bitty ones like my one year old they do offer stand still seating where they can still put on the 3D glasses and enjoy. If I had to rate the 3 attractions off memory that haven been in there it would be Dino island 1st, angry birds 2nd and yogi bear 3rd. All are pretty fun though.
