Horrible!!! I was highly overcharged for a dip polish. I also had made an appointment and when I got there I was told the girl before me took my spot. I was cordial and understanding. When I paid I thought that something was off, so I called and was told I was charged for removal of acrylic nails, which I don't have, and for a "cut down" with a nail clipper. I was informed I should've come in with bare nails using acetone before my appointment. (I'm sure that defeats the purpose of getting your nails done.) I also did not receive a manicure, which I paid for; only cuticle oil. Do Not Waste Your Money Here!!! read more

I was hesitant to come here because of the reviews on Yelp However after looking at their Instagram I decided to come try it out. Boy did they deliver I seriously think this may be the best nail salon in the whole quad cities. The nail tech did a very good job with me and my daughters nails. She took her time and tried to make them as perfect as possible considering my nails were a hot mess and different lengths ( no acrylic) she did an absolutely wonderful job and as far as price I was pleasantly surprised as it was very reasonable considering outstanding job she did! So I got my nails done to get a gel polish with a manicure... the old guy didn't know English and he didn't actually cut down my nails and he didn't even press the button to dry my nails and but a clear coat on my red and then in my gutter my glitter got all red and had to get them redone by the lady... she was sooo nice but the man was rude but she does my moms nails good and she speaks such good English I would make a reservation before going and get that lady she is the best she does great designs I would go buck but not the that guy... everyone else is sooo soooo nice go there read more

Excellent experience. My daughter and I were looking for a place to be pampered.....WE FOUND IT! We were very pampered. They became pretty busy after we arrived but never made us feel rushed. The massage I had was one of the best. I live in Texas but when I return, this will be a place I will visit for a pedicure! Very disappointing service. My sister came to town to visit and we went to get our nails done. We arrived at the same time as 3 other people. There were only two people working, so clearly some of us were left waiting. We weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a big deal at first. Then 3 more people came in and were told to wait or come back later. One person even came in for their appointment at 12:30 and wasn't seen until 1:15. As if being understaffed wasn't a problem enough, the person doing our shellac manicures made so many errors, she had to start over. We both left with nail polish on our cuticles, which means it will likely not last the full 14 days, and were very disappointed in the uneven polish job that was done. It's safe to say I will not be back. read more

The older lady at table 2 did a fill and shellac and fixed two nails and it was $50!!! She kept on hitting my cuticles with the drill over and over and it seriously hurt.....I almost got up and left. Then the shellac paint job is a joke....,.two days later and it's flaking off. Worst nail experience i have ever had. Go somewhere else ! read more

Awful service went in for a manicure and they spent a totally of 3min on me never asked me what I wanted for my nails just painted them and thats it. There wasnt even a wait so I dont understand why she was rushing so much. dont think they understand the difference between a polish change and a manicure. Will never back. read more

This rating has nothing to do with the outcome of my nails . I got a full set and I absolutely love them! I always go to Malibu and recommend it to everyone because the price is reasonable and I know it's sanitary. But, I called yesterday to make two appointments for 4. One for a set and the other for a mani and pedi. We get there at 4 and my friend gets taken care of while I wait (which is of course fine. I understand how sometimes it gets busy and it takes a little bit longer) but I waited until 4:45 until I was taken care of. And it wasn't even the girl I made it with (the one who always has done them) . Again, I love how they turned out but I wish I didn't have to wait 45 minutes without any explanation and then not even get the girl I requested. read more

I loved the way my nails turned out. I got ombré and it was $70. When the lady (I don't know her name) did my nails she was very rough and almost all of my fingers have a cut on them because of the filer. Especially my thumb, it's very red and it hurt very bad when she did it. She was very sweet though and did a great job on my nails. On the other hand the lady who did my pedicure did a horrible job. I sat in the chair for maybe 10 minutes and she did not do everything all the other ladies were doing. It definitely was not worth $25. All she did was push back my cuticles, roughly filled them, and then painted them then she just said thank you and went to sit in the corner on her phone. She was an older lady and I was expecting more like their online page says they do. Altogether it was $100 and I don't think it was worth it. But the lady who did my nails was very nice over the lady who did my pedicure. read more

This is NOT a professional buisness. Steer clear. My sister and I went to Malibu nails for full sets of acrylics. They helped my sister first which was completely fine with me. While I am standing there waiting to be seated two other women come in and are promptly seated before me. When I am finally seated 10 minutes later I am left to sit there for another 15 minutes. When the older man of the establishment came to help me I showed him what I wanted done and he said he could not do that. So I swithed it up to something easier. He then left my table and proceded to help the women who came in after me. Just left me sitting there and I did not get anymore attention from anybody for another 10 minutes. Then a young woman came up to me and said it would be another 30 minutes before I was helped. I decided to then leave because this was THE most unproffesional nail salon that I have ever been to in my life. First they dont know how to do simple designs then they took two other women ahead of me when I was clearly there first while I waited almost an hour for absolutley nothing. I went to this salon as an out of towner looking for a reasonably priced place to get my nails done. The price was good, but the results were terrible. I got there on a Saturday at about 10:20am and they already had a 30 Minute wait and many who were seen right away had appointments so I would recommend that. The salon was very clean and the staff was very nice. However, where I found issue was how long getting my nails took and the end product. I went in asking for a regular pedicure and a gel French tip manicure. 2 and half to almost 3 hours later I had an ok pedicure and a half way decent color gel manicure. The pedicure took forever and although the massage was nice the man who did my nails took so much of my calluses off that it's been painful to walk on my feet for the past week and a half. Finally the manicurist didn't know how to do a French tip gel and since no one else was available I had to settle for regular color. I would have been fine with that had it at least been a good job! The gels started shipping two days later and turned a weird color 4 days later. I had to get them removed in less than a week! Also, they spent 10 minutes on one hand to remove my cuticles and I had to ask them to stop because it was hurting. Sadly I can only recommend this place if you have an appointment with one of the other manicurists. Will not be going back. read more

Would never recommend or go back to this facility. Instead of taking care of the clients they had, we waited forever to get the completed product. When the young girl was taking care of her 2 month old child vs. working. I'm trying to understand why you would have your child at work and not take care of the clients. I asked for a manicure as well as gel and they didn't do the manicure and painted the wrong nail (had a party nail) which isn't a huge deal, but didn't feel like I was important or that they cared to listen. The (what I am assuming is brother and sister) were talking about drama and who called him, why, "you have got to be kidding me" while we were paying, so we listened to that as well.
