With this backdrop, centered and prepared by the meditation, I made the short drive to Heather's studio. The massage was exactly what I needed to close my stay, as I surrendered to Heather's skilled touch. Her deep, soothing strokes and gentle body adjustments revealed her true mastery, while our conversation, when it arose, was as grounding and sensitive as the massage itself. By the end of the hour, I felt wholly present in both spirit and body--an experience of the Tao within the Massage that has lingered, even now nearly a week later, as I prepare to leave Hawaii for the mainland.
