Apparently the kid working got his feelings hurt by me suggesting that the sign be taken down since they're not playing the movie because he, 30 minutes into the movie we decided to watch, felt the need to walk into the theater and tell my husband to "take his feet off the seat" and proceeded to snap his fingers and talk in a super degrading manner. Mind you, my husbands leg was resting on top of the other leaving his foot just in between the seats, not touching the actual seat. Once my husband explained this to the worker, his exact response was "you don't own the movie theater, put your foot down now" I wouldn't speak to anyone in the manner that this kid was talking let alone a perfect stranger. He proceeded to storm out and bring yet another worker again telling him to "put his foot down" when (yet again) his foot wasn't touching anything. Mind you there were maybe 10 people in the theater and not a soul sitting anywhere near us. One she got nowhere because we were doing nothing wrong, they storm off and bring yet one more person, this time it was (I'd assume) the manager on duty. Once he was told that my husbands foot wasn't touching anything his response was "well it could touch it" and just stood there. At that point it was comical and we'd had enough. We told the manager that we wanted a refund since they weren't going to allow us to watch the movie in peace. I've never in my life experienced something so ridiculous or been spoke to in such a disrespectful way. We will NEVER step foot into this movie theater again!

From Top Gun to My Fair Lady, I truly enjoy these movies on Wednesdays and Sundays. The prices are fairly reasonable and better if you're a VIP member. The theaters are always clean and never packed with people. They parking lot is shared with a couple great restaurants so dinner and a movie is a convenient date night. They have the best employees. Local kids and one named Joseph has been the best. He's knowledgeable and really helpful. Overall, my theater of choice. St. Simons is a busy island but the theater is a chill place to go when you've had enough of the beach for the day.

When I went to the movies, they had a special for $25 when you got a large drink and a large popcorn for the collectible item. Another patron ended up leaving the theatre to find out what was happening. 2) the seats share a cup holder and armrest with your neighbor. It made it awkward sitting next someone I didn't know and I felt like I was bothering her everytime I reached for my drink. Every seat should have 2 individual armrests and more space in between. (Maybe some seats can be designated as cozy ones). 3) bathroom trash was overflowing. Otherwise the seats were somewhat comfy and even can be heated. I loved being able to reserve what seat I wanted ahead of time and you can order food too. Oh and they have beer and wine! Nothing is better than popcorn and beer for dinner haha!

I would recommend purchasing your ticket in advance as they do work in a reserved seating format, not open seating. Kiosks are available in the lobby as well. If you have a mobile ticket you can go right to the attendant to see your movie. I've seen other comments stating that the line for concessions is long - that was our experience as well. Other that that, the staff was very nice and happy to help.

They have two different buttons so you can adjust your position, which made the whole movie even more enjoyable. The concession area was also very well stocked, with plenty of options, and everything felt clean and organized. On top of that, everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The tickets were a bit on the pricey side, not sure if it was because of this specific movie or if that's just the standard now but overall, it felt worth it for the comfort and experience. Overall the screens aren't bad and while the chairs are comfortable - I'd love to see one or two of the theaters with reclining seats. Overall not a horrible terrible theater but in need of some updating. Oh and bathrooms are clean! Always a plus.
