Apparently the kid working got his feelings hurt by me suggesting that the sign be taken down since they're not playing the movie because he, 30 minutes into the movie we decided to watch, felt the need to walk into the theater and tell my husband to "take his feet off the seat" and proceeded to snap his fingers and talk in a super degrading manner. Mind you, my husbands leg was resting on top of the other leaving his foot just in between the seats, not touching the actual seat. Once my husband explained this to the worker, his exact response was "you don't own the movie theater, put your foot down now" I wouldn't speak to anyone in the manner that this kid was talking let alone a perfect stranger. He proceeded to storm out and bring yet another worker again telling him to "put his foot down" when (yet again) his foot wasn't touching anything. Mind you there were maybe 10 people in the theater and not a soul sitting anywhere near us. One she got nowhere because we were doing nothing wrong, they storm off and bring yet one more person, this time it was (I'd assume) the manager on duty. Once he was told that my husbands foot wasn't touching anything his response was "well it could touch it" and just stood there. At that point it was comical and we'd had enough. We told the manager that we wanted a refund since they weren't going to allow us to watch the movie in peace. I've never in my life experienced something so ridiculous or been spoke to in such a disrespectful way. We will NEVER step foot into this movie theater again!

We had seats C12 & 13 but come to find out the seats only go up to 12 so it was a fiasco having people get up move down from our seats. We ordered a medium popcorn and a fountain drink, you are forced to order from the app and they you are charged a fee for doing so. If you want butter on the popcorn there's an additional charge!!! When it came, the popcorn was ice cold so was the butter...so don't expect hot buttered popcorn here! The seats are not too old but they are already in despair and when I reclined the chair was a little catttwampus and the seat was lacking fill. Right before the movie was to start the fire alarm went off and we were never instructed what to do so everyone stayed planted so thank God it wasn't for real fire. However through all this the company was great, (I went with my wife), and the movie and production was good!

From Top Gun to My Fair Lady, I truly enjoy these movies on Wednesdays and Sundays. The prices are fairly reasonable and better if you're a VIP member. The theaters are always clean and never packed with people. They parking lot is shared with a couple great restaurants so dinner and a movie is a convenient date night. They have the best employees. Local kids and one named Joseph has been the best. He's knowledgeable and really helpful. Overall, my theater of choice. St. Simons is a busy island but the theater is a chill place to go when you've had enough of the beach for the day.

You pay for snacks and scan tickets at the front and then popcorn and drinks are self serve. I have never been to self serve popcorn but I loved it. You can fill and butter as you see fit. The seat backs are too high and I had to recline the seats in front of us so we could see the whole screen. It wouldn't be as noticeable if the seats were set up as stadium seating. There is no wall that blocks the light when the doors are opened, so that is also a downside to NCG. Since we don't live in Savannah we had to rely on fandango to find us a local theater. The AMC is general admission (no reserved seating) so we chose NCG. We would return, but they do need to rethink design.

I went here for a movie. It was great until.... These high…read moreschool kids were being obnoxious from the beginning. He had a laptop open at first. I didn't say anything because I was going to wait until the movie actually started. Then, when it did, he tried to shake a 2L of soda, to do who knows what .... Spray it I'm sure. I made a comment. He stopped for a bit. Later on my girlfriend and I were still being bothered by them. He kept farting on her and turning to her going, "Do you like the smell?" I finally (half way through), spoke up and said something. A tenant followed me in and then didn't say a word to them. We ended up leaving the theater. I DID get a receipt to come back to another show time, which is great. HOWEVER, I tried calling to talk to someone about some other things I witnessed, and I was placed on hold. Then I called back and was hung up on 5 times and placed on hold another. Whoever was working during this shift really didn't give a shit. I get it man, you're working a low paying job, in school, young, but most of us did all that too. Grow a pair and do your job. Mind you the staff was great in the beginning and friendly. But when it came down to it, they weren't answering and hanging up the phone on purpose.

I would recommend purchasing your ticket in advance as they do work in a reserved seating format, not open seating. Kiosks are available in the lobby as well. If you have a mobile ticket you can go right to the attendant to see your movie. I've seen other comments stating that the line for concessions is long - that was our experience as well. Other that that, the staff was very nice and happy to help.

They have two different buttons so you can adjust your position, which made the whole movie even more enjoyable. The concession area was also very well stocked, with plenty of options, and everything felt clean and organized. On top of that, everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. The tickets were a bit on the pricey side, not sure if it was because of this specific movie or if that's just the standard now but overall, it felt worth it for the comfort and experience. Definitely a great spot for a movie night!

Overall not a horrible terrible theater but in need of some updating. Oh and bathrooms are clean! Always a plus.
