There are two comfy chairs and a small table with magazines. The room is peaceful and un-cluttered - a nice transition space from street to massage. Michele had me complete a quick medical history and then we discussed everything. She escorted me to her treatment room, took a few more minutes to ensure she understood what I wanted to achieve, and then left me alone to disrobe. After tapping on the door to confirm I was ready, she started gently warming up the muscles in my back. She found every lump and twist and soon got to work easing them out. Throughout, she remained attentive to pressure and how I was feeling about it. It's been years since I've had a really great, therapeutic massage and Michele really delivered for me. The massage felt a little rushed (not enough time on the trouble spots) and some active release would have been nice especially given the issues I had informed Brian about (pain in the triceps and back of the knee). My visit was at 2:30 on a Friday so no issues with parking but I can see it becoming an issue after 3pm. Brian does seem to have a good grasp of the human anatomy and knows the right spots to hit. His demeanor is pretty laid back so no problems getting comfortable. The table was comfortable and the room cozy. If you don't want to do 3 hour massage weekly and add 30% in tips on top of that, this is not the place for you. The GOAL is for her to get you in for 2 hours minimum then guilt your for tips so. She can work less and retire. If she focused on great service, it would be better. Stressing your client out with stories of everything that has gone wrong in your life and all the ways you need money, is exhausting and not fair for me to endure. I had 3 months of standing appointments booked. After a month of enduring this, I canceled the remaining. The great technique is not worth the headache.
