One of the things we love most is that he's one of only a few children there, which means he gets so much attention and care throughout the day. We receive photos regularly, and he almost always has the biggest smile on his face -- whether he's playing with blocks, climbing, jumping, or happily eating with his friends. There's no better feeling than drop-off time, when he reaches for the women at the front door, then turns around to wave goodbye to us with a huge smile. It gives us complete peace of mind knowing he feels safe, happy, and loved. The owner and the women who work there are incredibly kind, generous, and nurturing. They genuinely love spending their time watching our little ones grow, and it shows in everything they do. We truly know he is in the very best hands at Just Like Home.

She loves to play with all the other kids there. The kids are also taught emotions and feelings, which I noticed in my daughter as well. She learned how to better express herself. My boys had both been with a private nanny their entire lives - and we were extremely nervous about transitioning them away from private home care and into a school environment. The Merryhill team was fantastic and so supportive during the transition. My youngest especially had a difficult time with the transition. The teachers were so patient and kind with his crying at drop off - and would provide us updates on how he was doing via the school app. I also really like how they have big windows into each classroom; I am able to watch my boys and see how happy they are in their classroom before they notice I am there to pick them up. Both of my boys absolutely adore their teachers (Ms. Lindsey, Ms. Liz, Ms. Nicole, and Ms. CeCe) and look forward to seeing their friends every day. Beyond my boys being comfortable and happy - they have also learned so much in their time at Merryhill. Nearly every day I'm surprised by something new they've learned - like my 4 year old learning how to count up to 100, count in tens, learning the months of the year, and starting to read. My youngest learns new words every day, has learned his colors, how to count to ten, and is learning important social skills (like how to share). We feel very fortunate to have found this school and have already re-enrolled them both for next year.

He has since made his way up through several different classrooms and will be starting TK in the fall. His current teacher Racquel is absolutely incredible. It's easy to see how passionate she is about child development and how much she genuinely loves and cares about each of her students. While we will miss her dearly, she is has done so much to prepare him for TK and beyond, and we couldn't be more grateful! Since our youngest started a little earlier, we got to meet a new room of toddler teachers who impressed us so much from day one (Kenzi, Izabelle & Yer). Our daughter wasn't quite walking yet, but they had her up and running within weeks. She often had a hard time with goodbyes in the morning, but the teachers always helped me feel at ease and I knew she would be in great hands. I feel like we were truly spoiled. Beyond out kids' individual classroom experiences, I think the school as a whole is run very well. I am heartbroken, angry, and deeply disappointed. My son is extremely high functioning. We have worked incredibly hard to support him -- I drive two hours twice a week to get him to occupational therapy, he will be receiving ABA support, and we've put countless hours into helping him thrive. Because of that work, he doesn't even qualify for speech therapy. He is a bright, loving, energetic three-year-old who deserves patience and understanding like any other child. Instead, we were essentially told he could not stay unless we provided a full-time one-on-one aide ourselves -- something that would mean paying tuition while also paying privately for someone to supervise him all day. As a parent, there is nothing more painful than watching your child start forming friendships and getting comfortable somewhere, only to be pushed out because he needs a little extra support. If a school is not equipped or willing to support neurodivergent children, families deserve honesty about that from the beginning. It would save parents and children a tremendous amount of heartbreak. Right now my momma heart is just broken. My son deserves a community that sees his potential and supports him -- not one that shuts the door on him. If you're a parent of a neurodivergent or high energy child, walk the other way. The secure entry with double doors and coded access, along with locked and alarmed outdoor gates, gives me confidence every day that my son is in a safe environment. Through their app, I receive updates throughout the day with photos, what my son has eaten, diaper changes, water refills, nap times, and more. It makes such a difference knowing exactly how his day is going while I'm at work. I am so grateful that my son gets to grow up surrounded by teachers and staff who love him so well. I have taken my son here a few times and he loves it. The staff is always nice. The reason Im giving two stars is due to an incident that happened the final time I took my son. I dropped my son (whos 2) off at 8 am and all was well. When I picked him up at 4 he had a black eye and a raw red ring of dry skin around his mouth! The afternoon staff didnt call me to report an injury...in fact they told me they thought he came that way! Now...I understand little boys are going to rough house and Im sure this will not be my sons only black eye...but I was appalled at the lack of knowledge and the non chalant attitudes! Nobody knew how he got a black eye and weird dry skin ring around his mouth...no incident report was made...and I was never notified! I would think all of those steps would be protocol? Hmm...strange. Anyways...its a fun place...but i think the kid to teacher ratio is off and or the staff isnt the most attentive. read more

My kids have been going to kidspark since it opened several years ago. What I love about Kidspark is the convenience of it, especially when my kids were younger. It gave me my life back. I was able to run errands, go shopping, doctors appointments and not have to worry about childcare. Each staff member has ECE units and they even have a preschool. When my kids went to preschool 3x a week, the other 2x a week they were at kidspark's preschool and the ciriculum they followed shadowed what they were already learning. Now my kids are older (7,6) and they still love to go there. They can play video games, do art projects, play organized games or watch a movie if they are tired. I would recommend Kidpark to any mom who needs a break, wants to go to lunch or needs an afterschool place for their kids. Happy kids = Happy Parents! read more

I have been taking my children to KidsPark since they opened 5 years ago! I have 3 children and they all have gone through preschool and are now in Kindergarten, 2nd Grade and 5th Grade. They still love to go to so me and my husband can go on dates. The teachers have always been so nice and are always excited to see that my kids are there. I'm so happy with kidspark.I have had my kids grow up at kidspark, they always loved how busy they were. My son played video games because that what he loves and my daughter got to do so many different art projects from fuse beads to painting. Her favorite thing was jump rope, she learned so many songs that she would bring back to her friends. read more

My kids are 7 and 10 and still love kp. They have been going since it opened and still love it. I can drop them off on a fri night and go to dinner not feeling guilty I got a sitter to watch them. They have fun while I'm having a date night with my husband. Win win. read more

She is very unprofessional and you can tell she's in it for the money not because she cares. My son got bit everyday for a month and multiple times after that. One or two bites I'm fine with they are toddler. But when it's multiple back to back I start to question the adult supervision. After addressing my concerns multiple times to the director all she kept telling me was "it's age appropriate." "We're working with the parents." My son kept coming home with bites and if you look at the pictures they are pretty deep meaning that kid was on there for a good time before anyone did anything. My sons dad was really upset and called the director she threatened to kick my son out of the facility if we took further actions and made reports. I decided to remove my son from this center. Please do yourself a favor and steer clear from here I am currently going through a report against them with licensing.

We are at a stage in our kids life where they could spend their summers doing different camps and trying new things, but every year it's the same answer: they'd rather be at Rocklin KC. The staff here makes it so enjoyable for these kids that being there is more fun than anywhere else. Even the food is great (trust me, I know. Mr Chris saves me leftovers). I 100% recommend this place to any family looking for a place filled with added family. Ms Denise is everything you'd want in a leader, Ms Kym taught my kids the love of science, Ms Justina taught my kids patience and respect, and Ms Lizzy is a shining light. Mr Chris will always be my number chef and Ms Sammy will always be my kids go-to for fun. I can go on and on about the wonderful teachers and staff at Rocklin KC - because honestly, everything about this place has been wonderful for my family.

The staff isn't accommodating at all and they want to optimize their profits without caring about kids. I was not clearly informed about what items I needed to provide for my children, the billing policy, or the exact amount I would owe. I asked multiple times for written confirmation of my monthly payment amount, but I never received anything by email. I was only given verbal estimates, which created confusion and uncertainty. One of my biggest concerns happened when my daughter was bitten by another child in her classroom. I understand that incidents can happen in childcare settings, and I do not blame the facility simply because a child bit another child. However, what made me extremely uncomfortable was the handling of the situation. The teacher stated in front of the director that she had already sent me an incident report, which was not true. I also never received a phone call regarding the injury. When I saw my daughter's injury, it was more severe than I had expected. The lack of communication and the fact that I felt I was given inaccurate information damaged my trust. After speaking with the director, we agreed to move my daughter to another classroom. Unfortunately, when my daughter returned after being absent for several days, nobody appeared to have prepared for her transition. Her belongings had not been moved, and no one was available to guide me to her new classroom. After waiting for quite some time, another staff member eventually assisted me, though she did not seem pleased to do so. Once I entered the classroom, it was clear the teacher seemed surprised and unprepared for my daughter's arrival. As a parent, that was concerning because transitioning a child into a new environment should feel organized and welcoming. I was also later emailed that I would be charged a late fee despite still not having clear information regarding the exact amount I owed or the due dates. In the end, my daughter was paid for the month but only attended a handful of times because I no longer felt comfortable with the overall environment. The disorganization, communication issues, and concerns regarding cleanliness made me feel that this was not the right place for my children.

The teachers and directors of the school are so friendly and always give a warm welcome and fond farewell during pickups and drop-offs. They truly exemplify the best example of loving the kids like their own. I feel so confident with sending my son to a school that truly loves and cares about him. I also love that they have a secure app where they will post updates about your child's day at school including what they ate, nap times, potty times, etc. Everyone is so approachable and easy to talk to. Can't recommend Kiddie Academy enough.
