As a first time mom it was such a difficult decision and come to terms with putting my son in a daycare. There were so many things I was afraid of when I started to look for a daycare, like cleanliness, my son not being taken care of well enough, daycare staff being over worked and overwhelmed. You hear a lot of horror stories that scare any parents but man does CJCC really exceed all my expectations. They send presious pictures and updates when asked and I truly appreciate the pics and updates . Ms. Pinar has been so amazing to my sweet boy! She truly loves and cares so much for him & works so well with trying to get him fed. (He was exclusively breastfed most his life) if you know, you know! She has been compassionate, kind, understanding and willing to assist to meet his preferences and needs. When I first toured I was SO impressed with their attention to cleanliness & infection control. From the moment I stepped in the door Ms. Pinar & Mr. Avni welcomed me with such warm energy, happy and inviting. They made me put on booties over my shoes and wash my hands. Which was a first! My son was 5 months when he started but I was so happy and impressed to see all the learning tools and hear about how they help the children with real life skills. Update: My son is now 2 years old and has been in the care of the Rocklin home with Mr. Avni and Mrs. Maria since he was about 4ish months old. In this time my son has grown immensely, not only physically, but mentally, and emotionally as well. Mrs. Maria cooks home made food that my son is obsessed with. Mr. Avni teaches him manners, to play soccer and even piano. My son speaks with incredible pronunciation and has a very wide vocabulary for a 2 year old and I have no doubt it's from the education this daycare provides while my husband and I work. We were drawn to Cookie Jar because of their focus on installing good values and making children well-rounded in developmentally and behaviorally. Our son adapted very well to the daycare and loves the environment, particularly his teachers who provided dedicated time to each child in nurturing them. I can't say enough good things about Cookie Jar Child Care! From the moment we first visited almost a year ago, we felt welcomed, comfortable, and confident that our son would be in good hands. Pinar and Avni are incredibly kind, nurturing, and patient--not to mention they are very good at communicating. I love receiving the occasional photo of our little guy playing with his friends. The environment is clean, safe, and thoughtfully set up with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning activities that keep the kids engaged and happy. The daily routine includes outdoor playtime, music, crafts, and storytime--it's clear that a lot of love and effort goes into each day. Most importantly, Pinar has been more than willing to accommodate and adapt to our son's special needs. She wants to learn about what he needs and help him feel as comfortable as possible, which is invaluable to us. He has grown so much since starting at CJCC and we are very fortunate to have such a loving caretaker who is passionate about helping children. This review is very overdue! When we had to transition from having a nanny to putting our daughter into daycare earlier this year, the search for the right fit was overwhelming and daunting. The initial message I received from CJCC when I was on the hunt was warm and welcoming, which intrigued me to check them out. I was so pleased to see the plethora of wonderful reviews that were accurately reflected in our visit to the daycare. From Day 1, we've been given a sense of security and assurance that we made the right decision. Next to getting the same warm welcome every morning (no matter what mood our daughter is in), we look forward to the photo/video updates that we receive. Avni and Pinar are absolutely the sweetest and the love and care that our daughter receives from CJCC is exactly what a parent wants for their child. She gets structure, healthy socialization and care, and education that we are impressed with daily. Her little big personality is able to shine and it's so fun to see her and all the other kids smiling, laughing, and thriving together. She has had a total 180 change in her mood after we pick her up from this place compared to her previous daycare ( won't name names). I feel so lucky to have found Pinar and Avni at Cookie Jar Childcare. I got to meet with them in their home before Covid and was extremely pleased to see their gorgeous home in a nice, safe neighborhood which looked to welcoming and fun for the kids with plenty of room for them to sprawl out and play. Pinar and Avni felt familiar- like family, and presented as a perfect mix of fun, caring in a maternal/paternal sense, health conscious (Pinar cooks the meals!), educational and structured, yet flexible and relaxed. Our daughter has a hard time in new environments and with new people, and it did take several weeks for drop offs to become tearless. Thankfully, Avni and Pinar are very experienced and knowledgeable and walked me through what they anticipated that experience looking like for her (which ended up being accurate) and were patient and compassionate with both her and I as we adjusted. My daughter never "adjusted" to her previous daycare but now she happily gets in the car when I tell her it's time to go and is in such a happy mood at pick up. They were honest with me in the beginning that my daughter was quiet and kept to herself and kept me updated as she started coming out of her shell. I would like to take credit for all her learning and development but I can tell how much Avni and Pinar have helped her grow and how good daycare has been for her. Our daughter is ahead of her peers her age and loves her friends at daycare (as do I) but especially LOVES Avni! She always asks for him and it's so funny and cute! I highly recommend this daycare for anyone who's looking for an at home daycare environment with trustworthy and caring people. read more

We feel so fortunate to have found Avni and Pinar. Looking for childcare is one of the most stressful parts of being a parent, but they made the decision so easy. Finding child care was really tough and it took a while for us to find the right place. Cookie Jar has been fantastic for our daughter. Socializing with other kids, daily activities in a safe and fun environment plus dealing with the overall stress of being away from Mom and Dad for the first time. She is always happy going to day care and happy when she comes home! This was all new to us as first time parents but thankfully Pinar and Avni are as good at taking care of us parents as they are with the children.
