Very reasonable prices for the type of deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy you get. I love how they throw in different massage modalities depending on what you need like hot and cold therapy, etc. I usually go to Jaimie. Clinical Massage Therapy is amazing! I've been there several times these last weeks for a frozen shoulder and have seen Amanda and Staci. Two different styles of massage but both are amazingly effective in getting my arm mobile again. I was recommended for Cortisone shots and wanted to go into a more holistic Avenue for getting my arm back to where it needs to be. And this has been a life changing two weeks. From shooting pain and not being able to move my arm to being able to lift it. To being able to lift it over my head. I have been going to Clinical Massage, my chiropractor, physical therapy and Accupuncture. This 4 prong approach has been successful for me and the massages have really gotten my tight muscles mobile and I can feel the difference during and after my massage. My only issue is that I can't get enough appts lol. They are busy and it is a testament to how good they are. Just found them 2 weeks ago online and I'm super glad I did. I did a lot of research before I picked Clinical Massage Therapy. I am new to this area. I called and the staff was awesome. Carmen was so helpful in answering any of my question. She really listened to me to understand the problems. Then she recommended Peter to me. Of course I listened to her and I booked with Peter. Best decision I have made in a long time. Peter took a questionnaire and went over it with me. Each appointment he takes time to listen to me and asks what's been bothering me. He works directly with what the problem is. I have had a very hard time with focus and concentration. Tension in my neck and hips. Sciatica pain, lower back, leg pain so stiff its been hard to just walk and bend over. All of the mussel stiffness leads to other problems. My body was just not working any more. My circulation to my heart and my brain was not working. So as I say my best decision to come here. I have been working with Peter for a couple of months now. I can absolutely say he is extremely knowledgeable and was able to make me feel very comfortable. I can't say enough good things about this place. I've been a client for 4 years or so and go pretty regularly for massage for fibromyalgia and ongoing pain. I've seen a lot of massage therapists over the years and my top two are both here: Carmen and Rhiannon. One of the tricky things with Fibro is not flaring up after a massage and being able to relax and not fear someone is going to suddenly change pressure or speed and spike your pain while you're on the table. They take detailed notes on how I'm feeling when I arrive and leave and record past treatment preferences, which results in a consistency in massage no matter who I see. They specialize in trigger point therapy, which means they have a much deeper understanding of how muscles are interconnected and how tightness in one area can refer pain to another. Carmen is the owner and all of the therapists go through ongoing training to increase their skills. The vibe is relaxing and spa like but also clinical -- they focus on helping longterm issues improve over time, similar to physical therapy massage. Carmen and Rhiannon are magic workers. Both are super attentive to my fibro, use multiple heating methods (stones, table pad, rice packs) to loosen my muscles, and they take detailed notes about how I'm responding to treatments. I feel amazing during the massage, which is a blend of myofascial release and trigger point therapy. I'm also really impressed with how they disarm the pain I have without flaring my fibro. And their touch is smooth and consistent so I feel confident in relaxing rather than fearful they'll trigger me. I really struggled with this review. My massage therapist clearly knew her stuff and was extremely knowledgeable, but I left feeling stressed and upset. First, this is not the place for a relaxing massage--this is more like medical treatment. I had a few specific issues I wanted to work out, and the massage therapist agreed to focus on those. It really rubbed me the wrong way when she bluntly told me that I would need to withstand a 6-7 pain level. I agreed, but cautioned that I was sensitive. During the massage, I mentioned several times that what she was doing was painful, and she told me to "breathe through it. Additionally, she thought that my pain was coming from a different area than I asked to be worked on. Not once did she lessen the pressure or check in with me again about my comfort level. Over a week later, I still have bruises. Would I come here again? Maybe. My chronic knee pain has improved, more so than with other massages; but overall I felt ignored about my pain level and requests. read more

Staci Spears at Clinical Message Therapy is a miracle worker. I first had the good fortune of finding Staci when I was training for my first Marathon. She was able to identify muscles that were causing pains nowhere near where the actual pains were. She is very knowledgeable about the muscular anatomy which allows her to get rights to the real root of the problem. She is also very deliberate in her initial questions to help guide her toward the problem areas. I attribute my success in making it through my training to Staci's amazing skills. Peter is incredible. I've been going to Peter at CMT every 1-3 months, sometimes multiple times a month, for a couple years now. If you've had massages before, you'll go to Peter and he'll redefine your standards for what you consider a high quality massage. I've referred a handful of people to him (family, friends) and they've all said it was the best massage they've ever had. The typical massage you'd get somewhere else is very one dimensional. Peter is not your typical massage. Peter will hit any and every muscle in more ways than you thought possible. For example, say he's working on your chest. He'll work on it with your arms to your side (chest is shortened), your arms overhead, your arms out stretched (chest lengthened), he'll work it WHILE moving your arm into a stretched position. Or, for example, your hamstrings... he'll work them with your leg straight, your leg bent, your leg bent and hip in internal rotation, your leg bent and hip in external rotation, he'll work it while bending/unbinding your knee, he'll work it while bending/unbending your knee AND moving your hip (by moving your foot) into and out of internal and external rotation. I could go on and on but I'll just say... THIS MAN KNOWS HIS STUFF. read more
