Mama Mia is in the huebner oaks shopping center in northwest San Antonio and is a bit of an "everything" cafe with a primary focus on Vietnamese food. The inside is a bit of a strange setup - sort of your hodge podge seating and tables but the plastic furniture isn't very comfortable for hanging around for long. The boba was okay - mostly premade powders and relatively limited selection of drinks and options. Good if you're nearby but at least for the drinks - not worth making a trip for as there are better options ~10 minutes away. Service was fine - can order at their kiosk or counter.

My wife and I adore this spot. Owner is excellent shopkeeper and understands well what ambiance is. Side note: coming from a San Antonio native who's been to every boba shop around town, this shop can get it any day. It's excellent.

I'm glad San Antonio finally has fresh pressed sugar cane. I was getting Salata and wanted to get boba but I didn't realized Presotea was replaced by Mama Mia Fusion. Upon arriving I was waiting in line for almost 2 minutes without any greetings. The employees were just staring at me the entire time while helping the customer in front of me with their order and drinks. When it was my turn to order, one of the staff said sorry for the long wait. I worked in customer service, so I know it gets busy. However, a quick "hello we will be right there with you " isn't that hard. Both times I have been here customer service has been subpar to a point where I don't bother going here anymore. I'm always traveling back and forth with accessible fresh sugar cane. The drink itself is good, but then again it is really hard to mess up on this drink unless you don't get fresh stalk. After seeing other Yelpers receive stamp cards. I am disappointed I didn't get it both times. Overall, the sugar cane drink itself is a 5/5 but the poor service really deters this place for me.

The place is very clean and has a very nice atmosphere, it would be a great place to hang out with friends! I was very excited to find a place that specialized in Vietnamese drinks. I will say I found the menu to be expensive, I am not usually paying this much for sugarcane juice. Drinks were close to $7-10 for the sugarcane. We ordered sugarcane juice, penny wort juice, & corn. It was VERY VERY good! Sometimes I go to places where they sell similar drinks and it is watered down, but it is very good quality here. The flavor was great and tasted very fresh! I am happy I stopped by and I would come back again!

MAMA MIA FUSION 7/8/23 Mama Mia Fusion has the best tasting juices, smoothies and freshest boba I have tasted. We have tried many different flavors and they have all been wonderful. I really like adjusting the sugar levels and the almond milk option. I'm happy they have their little rewards card and look forward to filling it up soon. We have ordered in the store as well as delivery and the drinks are always fresh and obviously prepared with care. Today we had the: S.04-AVOCADO SMOOTHIE with almond milk, boba and 25% sugar and S14- COCONUT SMOOTHIE with almond milk and 25% sugar and S.05-STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE with boba and 25% sugar. ALL of them creamy and perfectly sweetened. Thank you Mama Mia for great refreshing Boba :-) ~LindaD

Tried out the mango shaved ice and sugarcane juice! The mango shaved ice HUGE and comes with frozen mango, mango jelly, mango puree, and vanilla ice cream. It can get pretty messy so be careful! I wish the mango chunks weren't frozen and the ice cream was a little too much for my taste, but otherwise super refreshing! The sugarcane juice was super good and refreshing and they make it to order!

Houston to San Antonio! Finally opened one up, inside is very nice and cozy. The menu has more choices than the Houston location since this is fusion. The pricing is a bit expensive, but it is the best nuoc mia here so it's worth the money, rather go here than drive to Houston. The drinks is okay, not as flavorful as Houston, a bit watered down. However just grand opening so i'll wait again and try later once they're more stable. The waffles were delicious, perfectly cooked . Got the pandan, super crispy and chewy. Theres some shavings of coconut in it, i love it! Would come back for the waffles yum

I walked in to Mama Mia's again today! After a fantastic first experience, I decided to spin the block and see if it was a fluke. Not surprisingly at all, it was somehow even better. The fluffy but crispy waffles have to be my favorite, especially when combined with uncommon Asian flavors. Service was still great, but I could tell there was more of a language barrier. Still extremely friendly! The environment is modern but cute and homie. It tells me this must be a family owned business. I'd highly recommend for a quick and delicious snack!

Didn't think I needed this until I a friend recommended it to me, but if you want fresh sugarcane juice then I also recommend this place! This place used to be the old prestotea so they still have the nice seating area with great natural lighting.

I've tried this place once in Houston and it was really good. I was glad to find out it was also here in San Antonio. The sugar cane drinks are freshly made, they have delicious sugarcane drinks, I get the coco mía.

If you liked presotea, this is similar. I didn't like preso tea. Got the Thai tea, watery, not very sweet, weird smell.

Artea is a pretty decent chain with a wide variety of loose-leaf teas, milk teas & lattes, frozen milk teas/drinks, and a huge selection of specialty drinks such as "cucumber lychee bliss", "strawberry lychee lime green tea," or "mango coconut paradise." They also have a big selection of toppings. I love how they have basil seeds and red bean (2 of my favs). I'm pretty picky about my milk teas, but Artea's has been consistent and not watered down like most. Their food menu, although is quite pricey on some items, are pretty tasty. We tried the $24 ribeye steak fried rice and was pretty happy with it. The bento boxes are a bargain. Parm garlic aioli fries were good. Tonkatsu ramen was with "udon" like noodles, which was different. Lots of finger foods/appetizers to enjoy with your boba. They have a small dessert selection (fried oreos & matcha ice cream). I would say it's one of the better boba joints in San Antonio. My only complaint is that they run out of items on a regular basis--happens more often than I would like--ex: wintermelon milk tea (which is hard to get nowadays, unless you go to KFT).

Super chill vibe with games and lots of UTSA students studying, so it's perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. Fast service, good quality, and I've never had any issues. Definitely recommend.

This is not our regular go-to Tealicious location but last Friday night since we were around the area after our errands at HEB, we decided to visit. We've been here several times before and I thought perhaps it was just an isolated incident. I let my emotions die down too that's why I waited this long. Just bought four drinks from our regular neighborhood Tealicious on Potranco near 1604 and just can't help finally posting this objective review. Back to the Tealicious by HEB Bandera experience, they are totally consistent...consistently providing a horrible customer service experience. The young lady in the cash register was simply impersonal, dull, and snobbish. Again, we thought this was isolated but on all those several instances we visited this location, we have exactly the same sub par customer service experience. This afternoon visit at Tealicious on Potranco, I asked the young lady if the owners are the same on both locations, she verified it not the same. The staff at the Bandera location needs to learn from these excellent staff members at Potranco. No matter what time of day, or day of the week and no matter who's tending the store, the customer service at Tealicious Potranco is consistently stellar. My experience this afternoon at Tealicious Potranco made me finally decide to post my unacceptable customer service experience at Tealicious Badera. Never ever again visiting Tealicious at Badera, we'll always be loyal to our neighborhood Tealicious at Potranco! The best in customer service, consistent at all times!

I think I pretty much had most of the ingredients in my bowl lol. As far as sauces, you can mix if you like and I was able to sample as well. I'm a spicy chick, so he mixed up a concoction of sriracha aioli and spicy ginger. My bowl was packed with yumminess. I could have used a plate to mix up all the goodies. The eel had a slight sweetness to it and the dressings/sauce was actually not that hat spicy. My bowl was topped with wonton chips for a crispy texture.
