This store is stocked with crystals, herbs, florals, dream catchers, tarot, and all things mystical. You can tell that so much thought went into crafting a space that's inclusive and welcoming. I specifically loved their wall of gem and crystal definitions. They have small cards that you can take home to educate yourself on your purchase. I even bought a special ring here that I've never seen anywhere else. I've also bought a number of crystals here for myself and as gifts, and they always provide a cute bag you can select yourself. Their tarot selection is vast, and everything feels reasonably priced. They also do drop in card readings now with rotating readers. Check this place out, you won't regret it. I walked in there early on a Friday in hopes of getting a candle as a gift for a friend. The woman behind the desk was talking at full volume about another employee she said has "bad vibes", and did not greet me. I don't claim to know the whole story, but this woman was going on and on about this other employee in such a negative manner, i coughed to let her know i was there, hoping maybe she hasn't seen me come in. She continued on gossiping and degrading this other employee behind her back. She also mentioned something about Santeria and cursing people. Wtf?!? When i approached the desk to ask her the price of a candle, she threw on a very cheery tone and immediately offered me a tarot reading. Why would i want a reading from someone who was just loudly gossiping about someone? The woman then offered to bless the candle for me! No thanks! I am telling you.... This lady has bad energy. The only reason i gave two stars is because the incense selection was super awesome. Those singing bowls are nice but that's not my preferred method as well as it can be too much in such a small space in my opinion. If it was a smaller singing bowl then sure but this was a bit much. It used to be so simple. None of that stupid fake fortune telling machines. Now it's more for the desperate people that just want their whole future the told to them vs the people who actually like crystals and their spiritual benefits. Unfortunately, when we visited the new location, we were not even met with a hello. The 2 staff members looked at us and that's it. One girl wandered the store looking at everything as if she was a customer and the other girl was doing her hair. It is a larger store and a different layout though it looks like the same amount of stuff. Also, when we were checking out, there was a question on the cost of an item and I'm pretty sure I overpaid by quite a bit because of it. I don't like to automatically not give a place business because of one negative interaction. We will try this new location again and hopefully we have a better experience. I do hope some of the old staff I really liked moved over to the new location.
