I tried to tell her why I was there, to get answers about this guy I was on love with and she told me not to tell her anything, that she was just going to get started. She pulled a bunch of cards and told me a lot of things I didn't come to hear, guesses about my past, she said she felt like I had good energy, felt like one day I'd get married. Asked me if the letter M meant anything to me, which it didn't. At the end, she finally must have noticed I didn't feel satisfied and said the guy I'm thinking of still cared, but I was really hoping my reading focused only on that. At the end, she said I should get a crystal necklace, telling me that the stone was for protection. When I asked what the stone was, she didn't know and had to look it up, giving me the feeling she was making it up as she went. It was not what I wanted, not what I was seeking, and She had to call her mom to run my card numbers over the phone, which made me uncomfortable. The music playing during the whole reading, some kind of rock music also doesn't help me put my mind at ease. I will have to seek my answers elsewhere.

I use the quotes purposely because there was no reading about it. Sandra pulled vagaries out of thin air, very few of which were even remotely accurate and the rest were applicable to anyone ("You've had some difficulties in your life, correct?"). You'll notice that Sandra asks a ton of questions and then deduces some "predictions" from there. And you'll also notice that she uses a lot of phrases to add drama and a sense of credibility to her statements: "I'm going to be honest"; "you're not going to like this"; "this may sounds odd". I had a gut feeling she was not a true tarot reader from the start, but when she told me that someone who had died 20 years ago would be contacting me and would want me back, it sealed the deal. I feel stupid for not having called BS right there, so I'll settle for warning other Yelpers to stay away.

For example, she said that I'd end up going to New York for school, but I heard the very next week that I didn't get into that school. The second time I went to her was just for a psychic question reading. The second time I went to her she was totally off. She used body language and questions to figure out what to say, and when I confronted her about not getting into the school in New York even though she said I would, she said that "the energy wasn't right." Then, she told me I'd go to these two other schools, one of which I didn't even get into, and the other questions I asked at the psychic reading none of them came true.
