I have been to a numerous amount of spiritual and metaphysical shops and find the entire experience (start to finish) to be important. I walked in there early on a Friday in hopes of getting a candle as a gift for a friend. The woman behind the desk was talking at full volume about another employee she said has "bad vibes", and did not greet me. I don't claim to know the whole story, but this woman was going on and on about this other employee in such a negative manner, i coughed to let her know i was there, hoping maybe she hasn't seen me come in. She continued on gossiping and degrading this other employee behind her back. She also mentioned something about Santeria and cursing people. Wtf?!? When i approached the desk to ask her the price of a candle, she threw on a very cheery tone and immediately offered me a tarot reading. Why would i want a reading from someone who was just loudly gossiping about someone? The woman then offered to bless the candle for me! No thanks! I am telling you.... This lady has bad energy. The only reason i gave two stars is because the incense selection was super awesome. I think the owner should look into who is doing readings there because this lady had the most pious and holier than thou attitude I've come across in a while. read more

I'm so glad I gave this place another shot! The woman working, Suzanne, was incredibly helpful and nice. I told her about what happened the other day and she told me she'd look into it. Block out an hour or two if you visit-there is so much to see! Crystals, in my opinion, are unrivaled here-beautiful specimens lovingly curated and labeled so as to be as informative as possible. I am updating my review because the store was recently purchased and revamped by the new owner. I am giving 3 stars because most of the stones and other merchandise didn't have price tags. It's really a drag to have to ask the price on almost everything I was interested in. The prices also seemed really arbitrary. Sometimes the owner would weigh the stone, sometimes she would just throw out a number. Don't get me wrong, the owner was perfectly pleasant each of the 15 times I asked for a price! But the whole shopping experience felt like work. read more

My brother, mother and I are all customers here and have fallowed from the previous location because Practical Magicka always has what's needed on hand. I really hate giving bad reviews especially to small businesses but this crystal store is just not it. I've gone twice to give it another chance even though both times were different owners, the vibe was still bad. To start, it's shady to me when places don't have prices on ANYTHING in the store. I also feel that with this, the prices were outrageous. I was offered a free sample reading from a tarot reader that then tried to scam me for 200 dollars. However, the cherry on top was they took a photo of my debit card and said it was because their cashier wasn't working. I was charged 80 bucks for a bracelet and oil. I was then offered free samples but I feel like that's where that large sum of money really went. I don't know the vibe is really not it and nothing out of the purchase interactions made me feel any better. There are PLENTY of other crystal shops around here I would rather recommend. read more

This shop is full of different things. The wall in the back has really nice bath bomb stuff. Some of the oils smell amazing. Most of the crystal, meditation, & witchcraft items are VASTLY overpriced. Also, unfortunately, I saw quite a few items from the 99¢ store that were retagged & being sold at a much higher price such as Buddha garden statues, these corny Halloween-Decor skull candle holders & a few Dia de Los Muertos candles, among other things. Quite a few of the "quartz" looked like sea glass.. Not too much authenticity going on here, but the shop's resident felines were so sweet. They each get a star. read more
