This place is a junkyard. Nothing sacred, nothing real just overpriced clutter, dead energy, and a bitter owner who acts like she's casting spells but couldn't clear a room with bleach or couldn't banish a fruit fly, let alone bad vibes. The vibe is heavy, the shelves are dusty like they've been asleep for years, and the whole place feels like a spell that backfired. Here you feel unwelcome, and honestly insulted that they dare charge for any of it. Go to Target. At least their candles smell like something. This isn't a shop! It's a warning. Rhapsody puts so much attention and care to her inventory it is truly amazing. The energy in this new place is incredible and EVERYTHING is so nicely organized. Second time coming in. Got there at 3:30, turns out they opened at 4pm. Really needed help with a personal problem. I am so thankful and glad I trusted my gut and decided to stay and wait. Coming into the store is always nice, smells amazing and just feels homie. When Sandra came up to me and asked if I needed help, I was nervous since I have never met her but I opened up to her and told her the "dirt". I ended up crying because of the emotional toll I was carrying. She gave me a hug and I felt so safe and warm. After a bit, we got my items, and I went on my way. I love this place. Store Proprietor Rhapsody, who is a high priestess herself, (she likes to be called "Mama"), is an apothecary chemist who has what seems to be an unlimited supply of lotions potions powders resins oils herbs fragrances and essences that come from literally the four corners of the Earth and deep down below. You could swear that Rhapsody has a cure for a rainy day, certainly a spell to bring one on. The rules of her store are quite simple: keep your voice down in case a tarot reading is in progress in the back, if you put anything on her glass counter make sure that a felt placemat is under it, do not put your hands in any jar, don't touch other customers' merchandise on the counter, and if you have any questions or not sure of something, ask. I have driven by this place a million times but never went in. Well, this will be a one and done for me. Two stars because I found what I needed at a reasonable price and this is a woman-owned business. But please believe me when I tell you this is the most chaotic, disorganized, filthy store I have ever been to. I was shocked to see their city trash can (you know the huge gray can that is supposed to live outside?) sitting inside the store. Inside. The. Store. Just sitting in an aisle blocking all the merchandise. POL is next to a bar, so you know that can has been peed on and puked in. That took me out. I could not wait to get out of that place.
