I cannot believe it took me this long to try Mama's Pho because WOW. I'm officially mad at myself. From the moment you walk in, the place just hits. It's spacious, stylish, and such a vibe. The large green wall is eye catching, and the whole restaurant feels modern, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The menu is stacked, and while prices are slightly higher than some pho spots, every single bite makes it make sense. Quality costs and this place delivers. The Pho: ABSOLUTE. FLAVOR. BOMB. The broth was insanely rich, deeply flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Total comfort in a bowl. And can we talk about the noodle portion?! Generous, hearty, and NOT skimpy. Total thumbs up for that. I literally told my husband this is hands down some of the best pho I've had in a long time. You can truly tell how much love went into the dishes, and especially the pho- so much hearty, soul-warming love in every bite and spoonful. What else we tried (and loved): -Fried Crispy Soft Tofu appetizer: Crispy, perfectly breaded, soft inside. Honestly looked like a little tofu pillow. I love tofu and went ALL IN. Zero regrets. -Spring rolls: Fresh, packed with fillings, and a solid portion size. Light but satisfying. -Grilled pork bahn mi: This one deserves a moment. Pork belly (yes, pork BELLY), insanely flavorful marinade, great balance of veggies, and that baguette... crunchy, soft, chewy, PERFECTION. One of the better Banh mis I've had. Period. -Thai iced tea: The only thing that didn't totally wow us- slightly heavier on the condensed milk than the tea for our taste. Comes with a lot of ice, so we'll ask for less next time. They also have some unique menu items like hibachi, lo mein & udon, and pad Thai you don't typically see at a Vietnamese restaurant, which I'm all for trying anything Mama makes. It makes me even more excited to come back. Definitely planning to try some of the other entree options next time. Service was friendly, fast, and on point. Tables were constantly cleaned and turned over without feeling rushed. Bottom line: Mama's Pho is elite. If you're even thinking about going, just GO. Trust me. We'll 100% be back and bringing friends next time.

I am currently in love with the Bún Bò Huế even more than I am with their amazing Phở Tái Bò Viên! The broth of the Bún Bò Huế is rich and satisfying, but admittedly I do ask for the blood cake and pork hock to be removed and replace with more of the Vietnamese ham & beef shank. I also ask for pho noodles instead of the thicker noodles it typically comes with. I know that's a lot of changes :-) but it makes it so much more satisfying! ENJOY

Mama's Pho is gooood! I was so excited when I found this place around the Buford area since I have mostly had bad experiences in this area when it comes to Pho restaurants. The broth is so rich! We of course had to order the Pho which was really good. We've also tried the Shrimp Pad Thai, and the shrimp spring rolls and the food here is just simply fresh and delicious and the portions are large! The service is great and all servers are very attentive. We always get seated right away and the restaurant is always spotless. Random though but also the soap in their bathroom smells SO good. Met a few friends here who raved about this place. Of course we ordered the pho, some fried rice, nuggets, and coffee. Pho is actually very good. The broth was rich and flavorful. Everything else was okay. Our server was super nice though we did have a hiccup and I didn't get my pho till halfway through service. Also no water refills because after getting our meal we weren't bothered. We were worried about seating before getting here but it's a pretty big space. Used to be a Stevie Bs so the kitchen is "open". A little out of our way so we probably won't be dropping by often but def a place we wouldn't mind driving out of our way for!

My sister and I decided to try this restaurant because we saw a post on Facebook that it was good and we love supporting our viet community. Upon arrival staff were friendly and nice! We were in love with the decor inside- nice, clean and modern! They could turn the air down just a tiny bit, we got hot fast but we are always hot so, it might be us LOL. For appetizers we got cheese crab Rangoon & fried shrimp roll. They were both nice and stuffed! The Fried shrimp egg roll actually had a long piece of shrimp throughout the eggroll which is nice cause you're getting shrimp in every bite. The crab Rangoon was nice and balanced with crab and cream cheese. My sister and I both got Bun Bo Hue, it was good and had a lot of lemon grass fragrant. (Which I love.) They're super generous with the meats, I actually like their cha (Vietnamese ham) and I'm kinda picky with that. The BBH is a little on the sweetish side, but you can adjust by adding fish sauce or shrimp paste if needed. Our waiter was also super nice (not sure if he was the owner or not, but that's what he was giving hahah) We will be back to try the pho next time heheh read more

Mama this is good, real good. I just moved to the area and needed a Vietnamese go to and this hits the spot. I've tried several other pho restaurants off Buford drive and Mama's is going to give them a run for their money! The facility is very clean and elegant. We had no problems with the service on Sunday night! As for the food, my wife and I ordered their pho tai and dac biet. The broth was very clean and tasty. The phos meat to noodle ratio is a good balanced. We also got their summer rolls and I have to agree with another reviewer that it feels a little skimpy. I think adding a little more vermicelli should do the trick. We also tried their version of Bo Luc Lac which was very good as well. For reference, my favorite go to spot for pho is Dai Loi off Pleasant Hill and it's still my favorite but Mama's pho is a close runner up! read more

Several Pho places in Buford and this place is hands down the best I've ever had. I aIways dreaded eating at I Love Pho so my wife decided to google other places around this area and came across this gem. The pho is the best I've ever had anywhere in Atlanta not just Buford. I was also amazed by the service, my cup of water never reached below half a cup. Extremely clean and modern decor, love the open kitchen setup. Even the bathrooms are immaculate, how many pho places can you say about that. This is my forever place from now on if I ever need a pho fix. Pictures to follow soon read more

The service was amazing it was my first time going and the person recommended the best pho to heal my lil stuffy nose. The ambiance was nice it was very chill and I would definitely go again. I got the "ultimate" I think it was beef filled but I would definitely get the chicken next time it all came out to $15 that's after tax . Before tax I think it says $13 on the menu. read more

Food is delicious. The shrimp and pork belly spring roll is authentic, just like my mom's. This is the only restaurant I've been to in Georgia that has pork belly in their spring roll. Bun Bo Hue is flavorful, again just like my mom's. Might need to go into the kitchen to make sure my mom is not back there. Would have included pics but I finished my food before taking them. This was our first time trying Mama's Pho. It took a littler longer than a typical pho place to get our food, they did apologize and was super friendly about it. I would give this place 10 stars if there is an option. My son is autistic and we brought his food inside, and he was trying to hide it , automatically the waiter said " it's ok! It's totally fine and you can eat freely in here !".. oh that made my heart so happy. Most other restaurants wouldn't allow it or would have acted like we were inconvenience. We ordered shaking beef and special Pho and Pho tại, they were all super delicious and the broth was very flavorful . Meat tasted fresh and herbs were super clean. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to friends and family and anyone that will ask.! read more

They charge a credit card fee for slow service and mediocre pho. The pho is run of the mill nothing special. I would give them 3 stars for their pho: but what they served as a ban m was unforgivable. Their ban mis are not edible and super disgusting. The meat was this big thick layer of steamed fat with a small tiny ring of meat in it, no seasoning or flavor: just grease and gristle. They must have ran out of pickled vegetables and just substituted grilled onions instead. I took 1 bite and then tossed the rest of the sandwich. I've had 1000s of ban mis in my life and this one was the absolute worst excuse for a ban mi I ever had. I will not be back. read more

new pho spot in town so we decided to check it out. spacious interior with plenty of booth seating, but with enough space to feel comfy. service is fast from order to table. the pho veggies were fresh and plentiful (some places can be skimpy) and the broth and noodles were great. We only tried the pho but ate every bit. definitely worth a visit! read more

I also paid $15 for my bowl, I haven't paid that amount for a vermicelli bowl in years. Great service and there's plenty is seating, the place is on the casual side and there were several families dining.

Tried Mama's Pho in Buford and as someone who visits Vietnam every 2 years, I was honestly impressed by the pho. The broth had that rich, comforting flavor that reminded me of home, and it's definitely one of the best pho spots I've had in Georgia so far. I did feel a little disappointed with the bánh mì and avocado shake though. The bread and ingredients didn't taste as fresh as I hoped, and the avocado shake could've used a bit more sweetness and flavor balance. But honestly...
