Walking distance to pretty much just about everything I wanted to do in Prague, right in front of the Powder Tower, and just a few minutes away from the Astrological Clock Tower! 4. We enjoyed watching people stroll on the streets while we ate our breakfast. I loved all the little subtle touches the staff provided. One morning a got a cute "Good morning" with my name written on the porcelain saucer. Literally made me day. The front desk was really good with recommendations for a lot of our needs. And forget checking in early (even if you have been traveling for 18 +hours. We were exhausted, so we ended up sitting in their lobby (*sometimes you just can't find the energy to tour the city while waiting for check-in). They gave us a room about an hour early, but it was one of the worst ones possible (guess they didn't like us sitting there with our luggage?!) Room 329 is an inside room - NEXT to the glass elevator, so if your curtains are open EVERYONE in the elevator has a crystal clear view of you! They are less than 3ft away! Hard to be positive about our 3-night stay when it was in one of their worst rooms. I would make sure I was higher up and perhaps a city view...

Except at night they didn't play music late. The hotel is the perfect location. You can jump on the Charles Bridge and go into the old town or you can wander the streets behind the hotel and go up to the castle. It is all in walking distance. You can also go around the hotel and sit by the river which is a nice experience. The staff was nice. They even removed the expense of one of our nights at the hotel cause our flight got delayed and we missed the first night. I would go back again for sure!

My back and shoulders (side sleeper) were a mess. They offered to move us to their sister hotel, but the reviews on that one had the same problem. We left 2 days early because we hadn't slept. They refused to refund us for the unused days. We paid for a service, which is to provide a comfortable place to sleep, and they did not even remotely provide that. Other issues: - The A/C ran all night, right over the bed, and sounded like a jet taking off, even ear plugs weren't sufficient. - The toilet seat just fell off! - The shower is a typical European hand wand with only a tiny glass barrier, so the whole (tiny) bathroom gets soaked when you try to shower. The shower is also in a raised tub that you have to climb into that is very slippery. I'm an athletic guy, and I had to be careful. This would be extremely dangerous for the elderly or infirm.

There's a tapas restaurant attached to the hotel but we didn't eat there. It was always busy which is a good sign and very handy if you just wanted to take it easy for a night. Finally, they have a taxi service that collects you from the airport for a really reasonable price. The driver is really friendly (as are all the staff, to be fair) and it's so handy knowing your transport is sorted for you. I would definitely recommend this place, it's not the nicest place I've ever stayed it but it's great value, ideally located and really pretty!
