From the front or back porch you can enter this treasure trove of beautiful clothing, shoes, jewelry, purses and other accessories. The day my daughter and I visited the shop initially we were greeted by Leslie and Yvette. These ladies immediately assisted us in finding a formal dress for my daughter to wear to a black tie event. The selection was varied and beautiful. The care and attention received by the knowledgeable staff rivaled the service we have received at Nordstroms, Von Maur and other upscale department stores and boutiques. Leslie and Yvette had immense knowledge of the boutiques stock and pulled together accessories to complement the chosen dress. We can't wait to return to the shop again and again to find awesome fashions and enjoy the amazing customer service. Thanks Leslie and Yvette for making our shopping experience so lovely.

But, if you're looking for cute clothing to wear out, or something for a specific event (my most recent purchase from Blush was a dress for an upcoming Las Vegas trip) then this is a great shop! My first and only complaint about the place was that it was hard for me to find. It sits on the corner with a couple of other buildings and it's a very busy area and their signage was not clear to me so I passed it a couple of times before realizing exactly where it was. It wasn't immediately apparent that there was parking in the back either. Once we figured that out, it's all good from there. Magnolia & Fig provides a light and pleasant space to shop for clothing, accessories, and other knickknacks. We were greeted warmly by the attendant, and she gives us the option to browse or asked us if we were looking for something specific. Once we told her what my friend was looking for and her size, the attendant got right to work, pulling dresses for her to try from the racks. We were brought eight or 10 different dresses to try in a small but nicely decorated fitting area. The two employees worked together to bring us outfits to try, giving us space and time to try each one, but giving opinions and thoughts, when asked to. They were very kind patient and efficient. They were sensitive to the needs of my friend as related to her disability without talking down to her or making her feel out of place. It was a very positive experience and we found the perfect dress for my friend's event. In the store, you will find lots of ladies clothing options in addition to some jewelry, hats, shoes and even pretty things for the home. I think my friend paid about $150 for the gorgeous dress and the earrings that she purchased. We would both recommend Magnolia & Fig for a fun boutique experience and a nice selection of clothing to choose from.

They range from casual to formal -- I even saw a few bathing suits. Six Sixters had a full range of sizes. There were several great Derby dresses to choose from, plus Six Sisters is selling several fascinators to go with them. Add in the great accessories and shoes, and you can come away with a whole look! My SIL bought several items while we were there. The clerk was helpful, and overall, it was such a delightful shopping experience. I'm excited to go back!

That's the first thing that my children noticed when we walked into the market. The arcade is set up off to the side, through a door, on the first floor. There are a couple dozen pinball machines and old-school video games that you can play for quarters. When we visited, there was no one in the arcade, so we had the whole thing to ourselves. The arcade was an unexpected bonus, but we visited for the food. I love food halls and markets like this because everyone can find something they like. When we visited, one of us got a loaded baked potato from Spudzy Potato Bar, one of us got the falafel and hummus plate from Jerusalem Kitchen, and one of us got a cheeseburger from Ziba's Bistro. But we could have also chosen arepas, Korean street food or crepes, or things like boba and coffee and vegan baked goods. There are a lot of different options here. Upstairs, there are a lot of little booths with crafts and handmade goods and things. When we visited, none of that was open, but we were able to go up there and look around. There's also a small area for young kids to play, and a couple of video games. The second floor is also a nice place to peer down and look at the market from high up above. Parking is wherever you can find it. There's a gravel parking lot a block away, and there's also street parking, if you're lucky to get a spot.

If you're a fan of Schitt's Creek, White's is what I imagine Rose Apothecary to be like (unfortunately minus a David Rose, though). What typically draws me in at White's, though, are the baby goods. It's taken a lot of willpower to not buy one of the adorable "Gentleman" onesies for my son. There are also bibs, books, toys, blankets and items to decorate a very stylish nursery. If you're in need of a gift, you can likely find something here. I picked up a "Garden & Gun" book about dogs for my mother-in-law recently. White's definitely has an artisan, "Garden & Gun" vibe, with some practical items, as well as some not-so-practical, like a fashionable jar of matches that cost way more than a giant box of matches. But hey, that's kind of the fun part -- looking through everything. The prices also run the gamut. While there are definitely more expensive items, you'll likely be able to find something in your budget as well. If you're in need of a delightful shopping experience, definitely give White's a try.
