The space is great and parking is not shared with other businesses. Very clean, no free dry. Their old pay slots are very faulty but they're upgrading them, so far half of the machines have that. Something the owner failed to mention when I went up to pull out cash to reload the payment cards. His solution was to transfer the clothes already loaded to the upgraded machines to the older ones. There are thefts and pickpockets at this place. This is what happened to me. The pickpockets worked in group of at least 3 young, clean looking women (early 20's) . One circled behind me when I loaded the machine to scan where you put your valuables. Another 2-3 would literally blocked my way, creating a diversion, while stealing my wallet out of my pocket. Then they disappeared very quickly. There are store cameras but staff has no access to. I reported to the staff and filed a police report. Hopefully, the store owners and managers would keep the thieves out. read more

Guess they don't want my business. Showed up at 8:40pm and some blonde woman tried to shoo me off saying that it was already the "last wash" while I was parking. The sign inside clearly states the last wash is at 9pm, but they are open until 10pm. She got very short white me when I explained that my dryer was broken so I only needed to dry my clothes here. Next time I'm going to go out of my way to the laundromat on Van Ness near Fresno City College, because it's open until 3am and the guy that is usually there is very nice and doesn't try to shoo off customers. read more

When they say "Mammoth" they mean MAMMOTH!! The place is HUGE. They have lots of options on size of machines. They're clearly indicated by "mammoth" sized signage. The card system is ok. The readers are persnickety and you have to insert and remove in one flowing motion. It's not credit cards you use. You gotta use cash to buy and load a plastic "Mammoth laundromat" card. The machines only take those cards, so if you're only there one time, you will have to forget your change (unless you're kinda resourceful). A little tip: The thought "big dryer means more clothes will fit into one" is right, but it'll take twice as long to dry your stuff - at the LEAST! Keep dryer loads light. Still twice the money either way, but WAY less time. read more

i would not recommend going here !!! my go to laundromat was closed and came here since i saw good reviews but was EXTREMELY dissatisfied!!!! 60% of the washers were "out of order" and literally only the ones that were available were $6+!!! small washers that couldn't hold much for $6 for only 20 mins of washing!!!! and the dryers only give u 10 mins for $.65 or $1.20 for the big ones but couldn't dry my clothes until the 4th time !!! overpriced and not enough washing/drying time don't waste ur time and money coming here read more

I just returned from a 3 week trip and had lots of laundry to do. When that happens, I always go to Mammoth here in Fresno. It's always impeccably clean and there are lots of washing machines of different sizes and dryers. Also, they went to a card payment system so bye-bye to hunting for quarters! I also bring large items like bedspreads and sleeping bags here. The washing machines are front - loaders, but they work much better than the front-loaders big box stores sell to consumers. These machines clean everything! I first came here in 2000 and I wash things here about 3 or 4 times a year. Even on busy days like weekends, you can always find a washer and dryer. Fast, easy, big place with lots of shade to park. We were able to park and eat our lunch under a shady tree while we waited. I can see people walking in and out with carts full of laundry. It's very busy but there's so much parking space in the lot there's half a lot empty to park wherever you want. I don't know if you guys have that struggle but most of the local laundromat we've been to have no where to park and that in itself is frustrating. There's also empty machines during lunch time. I like to drop off the kids to school and do the laundry without them which seems to be everybody's plan to wash during that time which usually means waiting by a running machine till the timer goes off so I can use the machine. Not this place! Empty machines because the place is huge!! Love it! We will be back in a bit to wash more Update* here again but let me check in for "3 hours" lame yelp! Honestly this is the cleanest laundromat I've been coming to. Has great service & the workers are really working than being behind the desk not doing anything when it comes to facility maintenance. I was waiting, only because they were finishing their task & came to help me shortly. Very friendly & professional as well, I give them a thumbs up for customer service. The place may seem full outside from all the cars, (because it's Sunday, which is majority of everyone's laundry day) but they do have a lot of washers & dryers available. They also have different sizes for different loads, making it much easier to get things done much quicker. The machinery is also maintained, from the inside to outside as well. The compartment for placing your bleach/detergent is always left spotless, so you'll rarely see any soap scum outside of them after you lift the tops. The dryers are proficient as well. They no longer do coins from years I remember being here back in 2013, but they are up to date with wash cards, which is very useful for your next visit, all because it saves your amount on the cards. Therefore you won't really waste much money next time you come if you haven't already used up all your funds. Also at their front desk where they place the prices for each wash, helping you to calculate your spendings, they offer assistance for folding clothes as well. read more

This place is wonderful, probably the largest laundromat in the Fresno-Clovis area. They have many different sizes of washers and dryers for your convenience. And they are on the card system so you need not remember to bring quarters (a plus in this time of COVID, as quarters can be difficult to find now). Their waiting room needs some attention though; when I went the last time their TV was broken. Also, they have a vending machines that dispenses both candy bars and cold drinks out of the same machine, so in order to keep the drinks cold they must keep the machine cold, and consequently the candy bars it dispenses are absolutely FROZEN SOLID. Finally, since they are called the MAMMOTH Laundromat, you would think that their motto would be a wooly mammoth. But alas, it is just a regular elephant!! read more

I have been here quite a few times, it is always clean and nice. My one issue that I have had every time I come here, the attendant (same lady every time) is always yelling and getting after kids for playing. She has no compassion for parents trying to keep their toddlers entertained while they are trying to do their laundry. She yelled at a for laying on the chair bench. She got after my 3 year old for pushing the laundry cart and wanting to help. No one wants to be here lady, and it defiantly isn't a playground; but have some compassion for children who are bored and trying to make the best of their time. It's understandable if kids are running a muck, but when they are under control and just trying to make the time better; get over it. Now I will defiantly be taking my business elsewhere. read more
