Tweaker ass dude works there. I came in with (1) load of laundry to dry. There were 2 dryers open, I opened one and this foo tells me these 2 people had washed their clothes were about to use the dryers but they didn't even need a dryer yet but I figured it's early in the morning so I'll just get another dryer but they were all full by then the people started looking for a dryer then and this buster goes up to them telling them he saved the 2 dryers because they had washed there & they looked at me like what??? Too late for me right. So I waited 10 minutes for 1 open dryer and then I told dude I know what he did and he shouldn't never do that, 1st come 1st serve no matter who washed there or not. I only come here when the washroom in my apartment has issues but I never liked the people who took over from the Hispanic lady who used to run the place years ago. They have their tweaker friends hangout there which honestly nobody likes. They better make changes before we all start using other local laundromats. read more

No attendant when I showed up. I load my wet clothes to dry set the timer and left set an alarm to remind me when to return as usual. Every time i leavd my laundry i inform an attendant but not this timeas their was no attendat when I left. When i returned 45 min later 2 min aftet the dryer stopped. The attendand had loaded my laundry into an unknow ladys basket. He said it was hers. Inretrived my laundry asertivly and informed him it was mine. He the loaded the empty basket into her car and she left with no laundy. This was an attempted theft of my laundry. Why i have no idea. The employees are always alert on site and helpful. The place is reasonable and they are vigilant to keep it up and running with ease and grace. They are open 7 days a week 6 am-3 am wow. I was amazed it was packed at midnight on Saturday. It's been in business with different owners since the 60s. Their prices for the large washer is $7 and double loader $2.50. Cheapest wash cycles in Tower. They've got a quarter machine that is always filled. I personally don't care about looks/cosmetics. As long as the wash machine does what's supposed to I don't care. Worst laundry mat I've been too. I wash my cloths in the big laundry load. And after a full cycle wash my cloths came out smiling nasty af. And I ask if there was anything wrong with the washer because my clothes came out smelling nasty. She told me there was nothing wrong with it and smell my clothes and said my clothes smell good. When she know damn sure it smell nasty af. And she said I could be the water pump in the back. So I ask for another free wash and they denied my request and said that it's just been serviced and clean. But if it was just serviced and clean, then my cloths wouldn't come out smelling like shit. And wouldn't refund me my money. Rate this laundry mat 0 star if possible Would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I used to love going to this cute little laundromat until I donated 2 framed photographs I took of the laundromat in Hopes they would like to display them and week after week I asked about them and they mysteriously disappeared. Certainly not the best laundromat, but I got into town late and all else was closed. First things, the rewards system dont work and no cards accepted. Have to bring cash. Luckily a nice gentleman lent me coins. Coin machine did work tonight though, thankfully. Machines are pretty subpar and old. No 2 rinse 2 wash option. 25C gets you 7 minutes of drying: Kind of a ripoff if you ask me. Interior is hot and no public restroom. Located on 1 way street, PITA to get to. And let's just say most of the clientele here is, shall we say less than savory? Numerous people smoking marijuana about the premises. Whole place smells like dope. People don't care how they park here, cops should stay here to enforce no parking areas.. people can't drive through here.. I've been coming here off an on for the past 10 years. I used to really love this place, it was always clean, the service was always friendly and there was always opportunity to get in and out. Now the last 5 or so times I've come here the washer's have been filthy and gunked up with whomever used some cheap nasty soap. They have loud rap music blaring from the inside speakers. There's way too many people not wearing masks, including staff. The other customers have no sense of personal space, they try fighting other people who are minding their business trying to do laundry. It no longer feels like Tower. Being a Tower District business owner I'm embarrassed to have this place operating in our neighborhood. read more

I've been coming here for YEARS! I've never seen it look so good. I came in today to hear some easy listening oldies; just like if I was at home doing my own laundry on an early Saturday morning. They have an attendant that makes an appearance now, snacks and water to buy, and it's so nice and cool in here. Finally! It's so close to home and in the neighborhood so I just always dealt with the humidity, beggars, and run down ways. It's improved SO much. It's been a long time since I've seen the meth heads come in to bathe in the sink. They even painted it and even put plants around for a nice touch. I love that is near Mings, and I can run in to get a warm meal if needed, or walk to Spokeasy for a beer. Although I wouldn't recommend leaving your laundry here or anywhere. *Guilty of sneaking off sometimes though* Glad to see these changes in the neighborhood! read more

I DO N0T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! The washers shredded most my pillows! They had black streaks marks & ripped!! Like the plastic covers liners in the washers need replacing! Not to mention the rude lady told me to go across the street when I asked her for change! Like really. I made a mess when I took my pillows out! Stuff everywhere! The doors didn't close right either! Open late and they have a lot of washers and dryers that you can use. Whenever I go, the place is fairly clean and it's not too packed. Great place to do laundry, just don't wander off when your clothes is washing/drying. read more
