went there to get a cut for the holidays and it the worst cut I've had in years. the place was fancy looking and had a nice website so I thought the owner knew how to cut hair, but he was overly cocky and messed my hair up so bad I had to go immediately have someone fix it. my hair was uneven on each side and have me he didn't blend the back of my hair with the rest making it look so awkward. on top of all of that he charges 60$ a cut which is outrageous for a cut in genera just for me to have to pay someone to fix what he did. I honestly would've been better going to great clips or something. please if you value your appearance don't go here and if you want "spa services" just go somewhere that specializes in it. read more

This was the most rushed haircut I have ever received and I am embarrassed at the results. You get the old school nostalgic barber feel, the gentlemen's "can I take your coat", and modern hip music. There're beverages offered and a pool table if you want to rack em'. Their prices are a bit higher than an old-school men's haircut, but it's worth it for the cool spot, friendly service and great cut. I'm very happy with the cut that Simone gave me. This place was a nice surprise in Anchorage. I came up here for work not expecting to find a decent barbershop but was relieved when I found the ManSpa on Yelp. Cole was cool and obviously really skilled. I got a high skin fade, line up and he cleaned up my eyebrows too. I started coming here about 4 months ago. My previous barber moved out of the state and I was shopping around for a new one. My first few haircuts and beard trims at this place were great (Cole was my barber). The one I just received 2 days ago was horrible. Haircut was fine, but literally ruined my beard. I asked him to tighten up the sides and leave the length at the bottom. He proceeded to cut my entire beard the same length, which was extremely short. He even asked me how I wanted it cut twice before he did anything. If you want your barber to listen to what you say and not be screwing around on his phone the entire time he is cutting your hair I would suggest going to another shop. read more

We were on our way to Great Clips and called them to ask a question. We called at 4 pm on March 23. They were so rude on the phone that we were like "we don't really want to go there anymore." Then we saw this place called Man Spa and the nice, young man working was dressed in a suit. Classy. We could see him through the window as we drove by-it looked really nice. So we checked the prices online and decided to go. We were greeted by the nice man and a very nice, beautiful lady. Our coats were taken they gave us coffee and treated us so nice. For the price I was looking for a "consultation" as they advertised as to what hair would work best for me. That didn't happen. We dove right into clippers and was already too short.
