Recently, while at a medical facility, I met two members of the Klutch Non-Emergency Transport…read moremedical team transporting a patient that was on a medical gurney.  We got to talking and I learned that they have started their own company that provides the service of transporting medical patients to and from their medical appointments. I was impressed that one of them had a registered nurse's experience, and they are both veterans who seem to really take pride in their work. I think that what Klutch is proving a great service to people.

They actually got her there early. Drivers were helpful and kind. For anyone not familiar with these services, FYI, the driver does not stay during round trip rides. They drop you off. Then after your appointment is done, you contact them and they come back for pickup in about 20-40 minutes.

I did learn that no matter what agency you talk to they all have a quota of how many hours they will be there for no matter how long you need them.. Cherish and Natalie, who runs things worked with us on that and helped us. The companion they sent for my mother was and is an angel. We ended up discontinuing the service for a while because we don't have insurance for it and we were going to move my mother to the assisted side where she would receive medication from nurses which was less expensive, but she will not have a companion. However, they are very personal and the woman who referred me to them spoke very highly of them as well
