We arrived 10 minutes prior to our tee time, checked in, and paid. We went outside to wait for a cart and were told that they did not have any. Our only option was to play and share a cart with a group of 3 strangers. The man working seemed flustered and didn't have much sympathy for giving us only the option of squeezing into a two person cart with a stranger and me having to sit on my boyfriend's lap. Luckily, the men we ended up sharing a cart and time with were nice and also made the best of the situation, but to say I was disappointed is an understatement. I understand that on nice days courses get busy and crowded, but when calling ahead to book a tee time and reserve a golf cart, it is assumed that you do not play or squeeze into a cart with strangers. The situation that we would be put in was not communicated to us until after we had paid, so we were under the impression that our reservation would be honored as we had booked it. The experience that we paid for was far from honored, and for courses to overbook and promise us an experience that we are not given is not appreciated. This was our first visit to Little Mountain, and will definitely be our last. Extremely disappointing, and poor communication. I feel we were taken advantage of, and having to pay before fully being aware of the situation is extremely upsetting.

Having to take the ball out of sand traps during peak season should automatically drop the rate below $50. The course used to be in great shape, and now we pay more for a terrible golf experience. The course has a great layout and if you play smart it will reward you it will also let you get yourself in trouble. The green are large and hold well they can change and can be challenging so chip it close. I've played here more times than I can count and have never been disappointed with the course, the staff or the amenities it's a first class public course for sure. If you haven't played here you should treat yourself to a round. It's a little off the beaten path but not that hard to find and you won't be disappointed.

First of all they closed the resort and sold the course to a mega corp that doesn't care about it. And all that's left is dining, bar, and pool. The pool is run of the mill except they close whenever they feel like it, even when they're supposed to be open. Found that out the hard way. The dining... is just not good. Five frozen shrimp from Lucky's dropped on a plate for $18 and they call it shrimp cocktail. Drinks made by someone who doesn't even know how to make basic cocktails, and the food was served on paper plates and plastic cups. The service staff is made up of clueless kids and people who look like they just fell out of a trailer. My husband asked for a merlot and was told "we only have red or white" and then they brought him a glass of rose from a box. Literally 1985 flock of seagulls hair on a coughing cigarette of a woman was our waitress. The bar was full of drunken women screaming at each other. The whole thing was totally unappealing.
