Hafner ripped me off $350 dollars for a $53 dollar boot. As well as telling me xrays wouldn't load and he would have to take more (more money). Perscribed me horse medicine for a broken foot. Laughed at my pain and tried to fast talk me into putting a screw in my foot. Next time I will find Dr. Kavorkian. The nurses watch you stumble around in pain while giving you stupid tasks like a paper slipper while standing with crutches. Dr. Gordon did a procedure on my toe for an ingrown nail. actually it was to fix the botched job a different Manassas podiatrist did last year. What a difference! He was patient, informative and very caring that it was a good experience....well as good as having this done could be ;-) He explained everything, barely felt the numbing shots in my toe, felt nothing of the cutting, etc. When he was done I was given very clear care instructions. This was all yesterday and it already feels better, yes tender and sore, but my other experience didn't feel this ok to walk on for 2 weeks. I don't trust this doctor, will never visit this place. I suffered from planter fasciitis in my left foot, and I started to see Dr Hafner early May 2019, since then he tried to prescribe so many things and each visit ended with the assistant bringing something to sell to me, as I already had everything existing on market he ended up convincing me after 4 visits that I need custom made orthotics, I agreed for that as I trusted him at the time and regardless of the expensive price of $ 1375.00 I went for it. Impression was taken with I-pad camera, after 3 weeks I received the Orthotics, there is nothing custom or special on these orthotics, any other pair of orthotics I bought elsewhere looked and felt much better material wise, and however I gave it a try. On the fourth day of wearing them, the material ripped off (right foot) it became not wearable, and during this time I noticed that the arch is really low, and as I have very high arch so I had no support at all. Took them back and told them what happened, they told me they will fix them and call me. It took them a month then they delivered them but unfortunately they glued the peeled off material but didn't change the arch height; left them right a way to get that fixed. Again after 20 days of waiting they told me to go and pick them up, and guess what they are replacing the whole thing, a new one are given to me, arch is adjusted but they missed to make a whole in the middle for heal support as it supposed to be, as in the original one. Left them again to be fixed and here we are after almost four month and paying $ 1375.00 I don't have the product and I am still suffering from pain. * picture after the first repair, never took a picture when they got damaged as i never thought things will go so bad. read more

My condition, Plantar Fasciitis, was thoroughly explained to me. The explanation included a model of a foot with additional details. I was also given a list of recommended shoes that would help alleviate my foot pain. The doctor also suggested foot exercises to help. He did an injection of cortisone in my heel. The injection did hurt some, however much less than for instance stepping on a nail. My condition had remarkably improved by the second visit. He did suggest a full length orthotic support which is far superior to padded insoles sold by various stores. He inserted the orthotic support in the shoes I was wearing to make sure that they correctly fit the shoes. The doctor listened to my questions, and did not act like he was in hurry to move on to the next patient. Overall it was a very good experience. read more

I was ripped off by Dr Hafner at the Manassas Foot and Ankle Center. I went in for two ingrown toenails. He just clipped my toenails, not doing anything about the ingrown nails. He charged me $95 cash. I was told before going in that they accepted Medicare for this problem. After he started the work(?) he told me that I didn't qualify for Medicare. I have been treated for this many times over the past few years by three different doctors and there has never been any question about my condition or qualifications for Medicare treatment. As it was, I have had pedicures where they did much more than this doctor did and only charged me $18 -$25 for their services. I am of the opinion that he just saw me as an easy bit of money for little or no work. No one should be treated that way by any reputable doctor. read more

Went in for a ingrown toe nail. Staff was great and professional. Meet with Dr. Gordon, he was awesome. Procedure was quick and painless.

This business is not honest with their request to have clients pay a down payment for Orthodics up front ($250.00) in promise to return it when insurance pays them. We are attempting to recieve the deposit back and they now state that will keep the deposit until all insurance claims are paid. the orthodics have been paid in full by my insurance carrier. This was not explained when the deposit was made and with follow up appointments requested will take months to clear all appointment through the insurance. When I contacted the billing department they stated that they were unable to return the money and hung up on me. I would recomend a practice that does not scam the client. read more

I've been here twice for two separate foot issues and have had great experiences with Dr. Gordon, Dr. Hafner and the rest of the their staff. I didn't have to wait very long on either visit and they were able to quickly diagnose and treat both of my foot conditions. They make it really easy to schedule appointments online through zocdoc.com as well. I live in Woodbridge and it's definitely worth the 45 minute drive to visit their Manassas office. Dr. Hafner performed surgery to remove the portion of my toe nail that was chronically ingrown. He did a fabulous job! I had had the other side done by another doctor years ago so have a frame of reference. Dr. Hafner was SO much better. He only removes the amount of the nail that is necessary which helps minimize recovery time and leaves your toe nail looking normal. My daughter also had the procedure done with a "Top Doc" podiatrist in Fairfax. It was awful. He ruined her dancing career and left her with only half a toenail. Visited this office a few times earlier this year due to some chronic ankle pain. I saw Dr. Gordon the first time and two of the other doctors on subsequent visits (for orthotics measuring and fitting). I love that I didn't have to wait longer that a couple of minutes to see the doctor - I barely had time to turn on my Kindle in the waiting room. I was happy with the attention I received and the am very happy with the prescribed orthotics. I called this morning about a concern I had about a wart on my 5 year olds toe. Jean understood my concern and scheduled us to come in an hour later. We arrived and found her to be as wonderful as she was on the phone. It was obvious from watching her interaction with other patients in the waiting room that she enjoys her job. We were taken back by Val, and continued to have the same kind of experience. She was very thorough in answering my questions, and again it was apparent that she too, truly enjoys her job helping people. Dr. Kriger then came into the room and greeted my daughter. His kindness was appreciated and put us both at ease. He explained what he was going to do, and gave positive feedback for what we had been doing at home to treat it. He was very gentle, and again it was apparent that he loves what he does and cares for the patient. His bedside manor is exactly what you hope for in a doctor. Kind and gentle. I was thrilled to see that he was Board Certified. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, it means that he went to school for his profession, but after he was able to practice, he went above and beyond what is required. Not all doctors choose to do that. It means that he has documented cases of successful procedures. The atmosphere of the office was one of calmness and confidence. It is a direct result of the doctor. When a doctor is stressed out, so is the staff, and there is tension in the air. I thank Dr. Kriger and his staff for providing a caring and professional experience and will highly recommend this office to friends and family.
