We've been part of this amazing community for about 3 years now, and I just wanted to take a moment to share how touched I was by the Mother's Day event held yesterday. As a recently divorced single mom, life can feel nonstop--and moments of peace or recognition are rare. But yesterday was truly special. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, appreciated, and genuinely loved. The atmosphere was warm and joyful, and it gave me something I didn't realize I was missing: a chance to simply breathe and be celebrated. The attention to detail blew me away--from the beautiful decorations to the flower vase station where we created our own bouquets, to the photo booth, the balloon display, and the delicious food--everything was so thoughtfully planned. The love and effort from the staff poured out in every corner of the room. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for creating such a beautiful space for mothers like me to feel seen, appreciated, and celebrated. It meant more than words can express.

We LOVE Winwood!!!…read more We have a son in the Junior Kindergarten class and the PS2 class. Our youngest son has been attending Winwood part time for three months. He had never attended daycare prior to Winwood, and in the beginning had separation anxiety when he was dropped off in the mornings. The amazing front staff knew exactly how to calm him down and get him to smile . As a parent, it's very comforting knowing that I don't have to worry about how he's doing because I know he's being taken care of. Our older son has been attending Winwood for almost a year now and loves it. We absolutely LOVE the Kindergarten Club that Winwood offers! He is reading and writing on his own more and more each day because of the Kindergarten Club and his amazing teacher. We are so happy to be apart of the Winwood family, you guys are the best!

You worry so much: are they going to soothe my child like I would? Will she be loved & well taken care of? Safe? Will they pick her up & give her attention? The list goes on & on & on. But at Winwood everything is taken care of. They answered all my questions & ones I hadn't even thought to ask. I felt completely assured & didn't have a doubt that my baby would be & is loved & incredibly well taken care of. I get a report & notifications everyday, the teachers clearly communicate with you at drop offs & pickups about ANYTHING you need to know. They encourage you to drop in to visit, call, or log in online to view their cameras anytime to give you further peace of mind, but honestly I don't need it! The teachers are so incredibly caring & attentive. I feel 200% sure that Ms. Tina, Lauren & Kyong take excellent care of my baby! Every time I come in the room to get her, she's happy & fed & changed & being well taken care of, most of the time being held & in one of the teachers' arms. When I drop her off it's evident they care. Kyong especially always breaks into a smile & immediately takes her into her arms to hold her & starts talking to her & rocking her. That's such a reassuring feeling to know they love your baby as much as you do & are happy to see her, it's not just a job to them. Throw in the fact that this school is super accommodating. My previously arranged childcare fell through & I came in needing last minute temporary care for a few weeks with virtually no notice. Winwood took care of us without a problem. The director is dishonest, accusatory and predatory. This place needs to be audited. My daughter…read morewent to this center in 2023 when we moved back from Maryland and there were only problems. When the summer program was over I chose not to re enroll her in the before and after school program and the director tried to make it as difficult as possible by charging me for 2 additional weeks, accusing me of not giving a 2 week notice (she likes make accusations), even though I had never enrolled my daughter in the fall program. I spoke to the regional manager at the time, who adjusted my account to reflect a zero balance since I should not have been charged for the 2 extra weeks. Fast forward, I need before and after care for this school year and against my better judgment, decided to enroll here again. Huge mistake. The director pretends to be excited to have our business again, the first red flag though, we had to pay $150 up front before we were even able to register. In a rush I just paid it thinking this business is large enough to not be fraudulent... wrong. I was told the enrollment forms would be sent to my email immediately upon payment and they never came. I even showed up to the center and showed her where the funds were deducted from my account and she still insisted "Well, if you paid it would have gone through, you just have to wait and see if the bank processes the transaction, I will reach out to you on Saturday if it does...." She emailed me SUNDAY, despite telling me she'd reach out on Saturday, asking if I had received the forms... I hadn't. On Monday I enrolled my daughter at the Alphabest program offered at her school and then requested a refund from TLE....... When I called, the director asked if I had received the forms, I let her know I hadn't and would like a refund because the whole situation was messy and unprofessional. She then tells me she can't refund me because "I have an outstanding balance from 2023." 2023! And the balance was never brought up during me trying to re enroll. I tell her that is incorrect and I have a statement from the regional manager at the time that shows my balance being zero. She still goes to accuse me of not answering her phone calls about the balance.... I NEVER received any contact from that center after receiving my ending statement from the regional director. The dishonesty and unwillingness to take accountability is so unprofessional here. I've been trying to contact these people for almost a week now. I've had to report the charges to my bank. I've always gotten bad vibes from the director here, she is VERY disorganized, incompetent and dishonest. Not sure if my race has anything to do with it, but she was and still is a nightmare to deal with. Too add, to date I have yet to receive a receipt, confirmation of payment or statement for the transaction or "balance due."

We took off work early to go to this tour- we showed up and the women behind the desk said there's no tour- she's the only one there- we explained we booked it through the website- she said "oh that's why- we need to reschedule" I said before we do that- could I ask I about the tuition rate? She said "it depends" and looked like a dear in headlights. I said oh what?? She asked what school my child attended then said uhhhh I don't think we have availability- we're probably all booked..... I walked out. What on earth.

It's a collaborative environment, in which teachers work with each child's strengths and weaknesses, then communicate ideas and solutions to the parent. The teachers always start the day with a plan but understand the importance of pivoting when something isn't working for an individual or the class.  Children are given a safe place to play and are encouraged to get messy. Sometimes a spontaneous dance party is exactly what the children need. We are sad to go to kindergarten this fall because we will miss this MAGICAL place with our favorite teachers, best friends, and wonderful memories.
