Then every Tuesday the children would go to a family owned miniature golf place. Wednesdays would be pool day.. spend half the day with the children at the local public outdoor pool. thursdays would be bowling day.. get to go bowling at the local bowl america. fridays would be movie and event day.. movies in the morning.. and events in the afternoon (fair, petting zoo, circus, magic show, etc.). definitely send your child there if you live in the area! sure beats those other summer camp programs!

We were looking for a school in the area that was not only rich in their curriculum, but a school that was diverse in its culture and one that embraced children of all ethnicities. I noticed that during Black Histoy Month (2/2023), there were no initiatives highlighted in the February Monthly newsletter to recognize the contributions of the many African-Americans that have contributed to American History. I decided to email the staff with ideas in which Black History Month could be incorporated into the curriculum, considering that there were a number of African-American students enrolled at HCA. I received a phone call immediately from one of the Administrators (Mrs. Juliana) stating that this was an oversight and that they would be sure to highlight Black History Month. I had a follow-up conversation with the Curriculum Specialist (Mrs. Giovanna)...and to my surprise, she had incorporated many of the items that I highlighted in my email! Not to mention, how swiftly she acted upon this. I would like to extend my SINCEREST gratitude for all that HCA has done for Black History Month and everything that they are instilling in my children daily. I was thoroughly impressed with the various learning activities the students participated in throughout the month. They exceeded my expectations on highlighting African-American culture and the many great achievements of some of the well-known Black pioneers that have contributed to AMERICAN HISTORY. Efforts such as these make my husband and I confident that we have selected the right school for our children. Our son is enjoying every minute at Nanda Learning Center. From the beginning, he had trouble…read moreadjusting but the staff at Nanda did a good job help him transition. After a couple of weeks, he is happy to see his teachers and friends. The Nanda Learning Center is great with communicating with what is needed, I.e more diapers and wipe, to communicating any situation that may have occurred during the day. The center is also has very strict COVID guidelines and managed to get our son to wear a mask the entire day. I am very happy with our son's progress and development. The staff is doing an excellent job helping him learn new things.

Nanda used to be run by a fun loving, kind director…read more Things quickly changed and went downhill fast when there was a change in directors. The director is young and inexperienced and hasn't been given the appropriate training or guidance in her position. She could thrive if she was given these skills. However, parents are spoken to passive aggressively, bribed with writing positive reviews to get $100 removed from 1 weeks tuition, the handbook is shoved down our throats, but not even followed by the center. I'm so disheartened by the way Nanda's went down hill. We're grateful to be parting ways with Nanda's and wish the director gets what she needs to be successful, have the kids treated kindly, and build the morale of the childcare center.

When the summer program was over I chose not to re enroll her in the before and after school program and the director tried to make it as difficult as possible by charging me for 2 additional weeks, accusing me of not giving a 2 week notice (she likes make accusations), even though I had never enrolled my daughter in the fall program. I spoke to the regional manager at the time, who adjusted my account to reflect a zero balance since I should not have been charged for the 2 extra weeks. Fast forward, I need before and after care for this school year and against my better judgment, decided to enroll here again. Huge mistake. The director pretends to be excited to have our business again, the first red flag though, we had to pay $150 up front before we were even able to register. In a rush I just paid it thinking this business is large enough to not be fraudulent... wrong. I was told the enrollment forms would be sent to my email immediately upon payment and they never came. I even showed up to the center and showed her where the funds were deducted from my account and she still insisted "Well, if you paid it would have gone through, you just have to wait and see if the bank processes the transaction, I will reach out to you on Saturday if it does...." She emailed me SUNDAY, despite telling me she'd reach out on Saturday, asking if I had received the forms... I hadn't. On Monday I enrolled my daughter at the Alphabest program offered at her school and then requested a refund from TLE....... When I called, the director asked if I had received the forms, I let her know I hadn't and would like a refund because the whole situation was messy and unprofessional. She then tells me she can't refund me because "I have an outstanding balance from 2023." 2023! And the balance was never brought up during me trying to re enroll. I tell her that is incorrect and I have a statement from the regional manager at the time that shows my balance being zero. She still goes to accuse me of not answering her phone calls about the balance.... I NEVER received any contact from that center after receiving my ending statement from the regional director. The dishonesty and unwillingness to take accountability is so unprofessional here. I've been trying to contact these people for almost a week now. I've had to report the charges to my bank. I've always gotten bad vibes from the director here, she is VERY disorganized, incompetent and dishonest. Not sure if my race has anything to do with it, but she was and still is a nightmare to deal with. Too add, to date I have yet to receive a receipt, confirmation of payment or statement for the transaction or "balance due."
