Not only did I work here during a few summers, I also attended this place for pre-school…read more this is such an amazing pre-school with an amazing staff (not being biased). the summer camp program is amazing. the food is amazing. the chefs in the kitchen are friendly and always cook delicious food for the children. this is a family owned day care that has been around forever. the building has cameras on the outside and inside.. along with access cards for the parents to enter the building (for safety). the summer camp program is quite fun and im sure any child would love it. from what i remember... every Monday during the summer the children would go roller skating at a nearby roller rink that was rented out. Then every Tuesday the children would go to a family owned miniature golf place. Wednesdays would be pool day.. spend half the day with the children at the local public outdoor pool. thursdays would be bowling day.. get to go bowling at the local bowl america. fridays would be movie and event day.. movies in the morning.. and events in the afternoon (fair, petting zoo, circus, magic show, etc.). definitely send your child there if you live in the area! sure beats those other summer camp programs!

We took off work early to go to this tour- we showed up and the women behind the desk said there's no tour- she's the only one there- we explained we booked it through the website- she said "oh that's why- we need to reschedule" I said before we do that- could I ask I about the tuition rate? She said "it depends" and looked like a dear in headlights. I said oh what?? She asked what school my child attended then said uhhhh I don't think we have availability- we're probably all booked..... I walked out. What on earth.

When the summer program was over I chose not to re enroll her in the before and after school program and the director tried to make it as difficult as possible by charging me for 2 additional weeks, accusing me of not giving a 2 week notice (she likes make accusations), even though I had never enrolled my daughter in the fall program. I spoke to the regional manager at the time, who adjusted my account to reflect a zero balance since I should not have been charged for the 2 extra weeks. Fast forward, I need before and after care for this school year and against my better judgment, decided to enroll here again. Huge mistake. The director pretends to be excited to have our business again, the first red flag though, we had to pay $150 up front before we were even able to register. In a rush I just paid it thinking this business is large enough to not be fraudulent... wrong. I was told the enrollment forms would be sent to my email immediately upon payment and they never came. I even showed up to the center and showed her where the funds were deducted from my account and she still insisted "Well, if you paid it would have gone through, you just have to wait and see if the bank processes the transaction, I will reach out to you on Saturday if it does...." She emailed me SUNDAY, despite telling me she'd reach out on Saturday, asking if I had received the forms... I hadn't. On Monday I enrolled my daughter at the Alphabest program offered at her school and then requested a refund from TLE....... When I called, the director asked if I had received the forms, I let her know I hadn't and would like a refund because the whole situation was messy and unprofessional. She then tells me she can't refund me because "I have an outstanding balance from 2023." 2023! And the balance was never brought up during me trying to re enroll. I tell her that is incorrect and I have a statement from the regional manager at the time that shows my balance being zero. She still goes to accuse me of not answering her phone calls about the balance.... I NEVER received any contact from that center after receiving my ending statement from the regional director. The dishonesty and unwillingness to take accountability is so unprofessional here. I've been trying to contact these people for almost a week now. I've had to report the charges to my bank. I've always gotten bad vibes from the director here, she is VERY disorganized, incompetent and dishonest. Not sure if my race has anything to do with it, but she was and still is a nightmare to deal with. Too add, to date I have yet to receive a receipt, confirmation of payment or statement for the transaction or "balance due."

My first choice was booked at the last minute and I wasn't prepared at all but The MS of OTM quickly accepted both my babes and offered me a small discount for enrolling. The staff at this daycare tend to my babies as though they were their own. Offering the much needed support as a first time mother and giving me advise when needed. They are now 7 months old and I know that it's because of the ladies in the infant class that my preemies have developed and grown as much as they have. It also doesn't hurt that they are directly across the street from the Manassas City Police Department! I know my twins are safe and secure here and I'm glad I made the choice I did. The center Director, Carey, has the perfect tone and demeanor for dealing with our young toddlers. She seems to always know what to say to calm down our 4year old when he feels fussy, and that is a task in itself. The staff is extremely attentive and you can tell that they truly care about caring for our young while we are busy with our adult lives throughout the day. Soon he will be starting Kindergarten there, and we could not be more excited. I cannot recommend this school enough to parents with young children.

My mother had watched our daughter for the first year and I was very nervous to now be bringing her to a daycare / school. She started out in the baby room and adjusted very quickly to her new environment. The teachers were wonderful in distracting her while I snuck out of the room. I think it was harder on me than her. Over the past 3 years, she has moved up to the 4 year old classroom and still wants to stop by the little classrooms and say hi to the teachers. The turnover rate for teachers is extremely low. Whenever there is a new teacher, they immediately come over to introduce themselves. The teachers are outstanding! The director Melissa and the assistant director Tawanna are amazing. Whenever I have had a question, they are always available to answer my questions and I do not feel rushed. Both of them know everyone's name... both children and parents. They have a structured lesson plan and lots of events throughout the day from reading, circle time, and tons of different stations. My 4 year old knows simple addition, her letters, can count in English and Spanish, knows a lot of Spanish words (and has even taught me) and also some sign language. She is even spelling simple words. She will be more than ready for kindergarten when the time comes. I became very sick last year and everyone in the center was very supportive in helping me any way I needed. I do not think I would have had this support anywhere else. While I was sick, I continued to drive her out to this daycare (over 35 minutes from home) instead of moving her closer to home (which would have been easier on me) but I did not want to take her anywhere else. Everyone is truly dedicated to the care and safety of the children. I have met many of the other children's parents and have become friends with them over the years. We are always at one of the children's birthday parties throughout the year. I absolutely would recommend this center (and have) to anyone looking for a "warm, family oriented" environment.

After a couple of weeks, he is happy to see his teachers and friends. The Nanda Learning Center is great with communicating with what is needed, I.e more diapers and wipe, to communicating any situation that may have occurred during the day. The center is also has very strict COVID guidelines and managed to get our son to wear a mask the entire day. I am very happy with our son's progress and development. The staff is doing an excellent job helping him learn new things.

However, parents are spoken to passive aggressively, bribed with writing positive reviews to get $100 removed from 1 weeks tuition, the handbook is shoved down our throats, but not even followed by the center. I'm so disheartened by the way Nanda's went down hill. We're grateful to be parting ways with Nanda's and wish the director gets what she needs to be successful, have the kids treated kindly, and build the morale of the childcare center.

The Director also kept our 3yo for a time out / isolation for over an hour (she told us she did this). I would not send a child here.
