Cannot Recommend Odyssey. Contracted with Odyssey to convert…read moreour deck into a Four Season Sunroom. Scope of project didn't include additional support and bracing for structure and roof, estimate poorly done, seems sales person wanted to get a sale prior to end of calendar year. 1st Payment made on November 30, 2025 2nd payment made on March 30th, 2026 after demo started/completed Project completed on Monday, August 17, 2026 (8 1/2 months) 4 different PMs, 1 quit before the project started, 1 we fired after he entered/trespassed on our property, entered house without permission, 1 was replaced by Odyssey (don't know why?), last one has performed like a PM should. Major delay (at least 1 month) when door contractor couldn't fulfill order We were told project was going to take 4-6 weeks by the original PM and subcontractor, has now taken 8 1/2 months. Project failed the Town of Apex inspection 3 times, one because of an electrical issue (on electrical work supposedly completed by a licensed electrician), second fail included issues around structure support, and subsequently had to hire an Engineer to complete a load study (another long delay), third time for an issue with fall protection wire spacing that should've been known.. Study included many recommendations for additional supports. Replaced subcontractor after poor quality work (much has been reworked), seems like we are now 2nd or 3rd option/appt for new sub contractor (that is subs show up late in the day, most likely after they've worked another job earlier) After meeting with Owner (Sean), new/revised schedule was developed, showing project completion on July 1st, 2026 (didn't meet this new completion date either). Odyssey has continued to over promise and under deliver. One bright spot was the Project Manager (Bryan) that completed the job. All of these issues listed above led to a project that should've been completed in 4-6 weeks now being completed in 8 1/2 months!

I cannot recommend Odyssey Contracting to anyone due to the red flags during the consult (also…read morementioned by other reviewers), poor or sometimes nonexistent communication (also mentioned by other reviewers), & workmanship errors which occurred (also mentioned by others). The results of this full renovation of a family property was not worth the "journey" that took place with O.C. over the course of 12+ months. My family's money, time, effort, possessions, etc, etc...were not valued professionally. The following is a list of some but not all that took place since February 2025... 1. Family tools on the property were used without permission 2. Old asbestos flooring not abated (handled) properly 3. Kitchen range hood installed incorrectly & had to be redone 4. Kitchen flooring installed poorly & had to be redone 5. Kitchen backsplash installed poorly & had to be redone 6. Dishwasher not completely installed & had to request it's completion 7. Several kitchen cabinet uppers damaged during installation & had to be repaired 8. Shower curbs were built incorrectly & had to be redone or the glass installer would not warranty the glass installation 9. Incorrect flooring installed in secondary bathroom & had to be redone 10. Air conditioner unit not installed completely & had to request it's completion 11. Washing machine/dryer unit plumbing installed backwards & had to be redone 12. New utility sink faucet "misplaced" & had to be replaced 13. Several new door frames installed out of alignment & had to be redone 14. Several new window screens torn during installation & had to be replaced 15. Crawl space ductwork crushed during renovations & had to be replaced 16. Thermostat installed incorrectly & had to be reinstalled 17. More currently, I learned that electrical power to some smaller buildings on the property was never restored after electrical work to the house was completed. However, this is not being rectified by O.C., since they stopped responding to my communication 3 wks ago. 18. Additionally, it is quite possible more slack O.C. work will be discovered in the future. In conclusion, I do not recommend utilizing this company.
