I remembered how much I enjoyed the space the first time, and this visit reminded me why. The venue is beautifully decorated with a clean, modern aesthetic that instantly creates a calming and relaxing atmosphere. It also always smells amazing, which adds to the overall experience. The staff has been friendly and welcoming on both of my visits, making it easy to feel comfortable as soon as you walk in. The open layout and abundance of natural light make it a great setting. Whether you're attending a class, a community event, or hosting something of your own, The Pearl Aura offers a peaceful space that feels thoughtfully designed. I'd gladly return for another event.

I believe this closes at sunset but I've been out here at sunrise and it's been pretty quiet until 9:30 am or so. There are a few walking trails and the docks/front of the boathouse (the cement areas) do flood during heavy rain. Definitely a Glastonbury community symbol... :) Lots of kids fishing on the dock/by the river. Playground on the premises & then the Glastonbury parks and rec manages the fields behind the clubhouse. I've been here when there was a wedding and it seemed intimate and romantic. I'm a big fan of this spot!

This is still very reasonably priced compared to other theaters around. I don't go to as many movies these days (not as many as when I wrote my first review back in 2013) but I always check the Parkade's showings as my first go to option. They said they had a handicap accessible room, however once we got there we saw that the bathroom toilet railing was not stable at all. As many of the reviews stated, the pictures of the rooms looked very nice. However, once in the room, you could quickly see that the quality of the materials and the workmanship was very poor. For example, the reason why the railing in the bathroom was loose and unsafe is because the railing was nailed into the plaster wall instead of into the wood stud as it should have been. The breakfast was free, the choices each day were the same. Only in a pinch would we return .

They wanted to keep the vibe elegant, lively, and joyful. Paul listened, understood, and brought their vision to life. Two weeks later, guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the music and the tone Paul set (some people couldn't stop dancing). My daughter has been in numerous wedding parties, and one thing she noticed is that some vendors can be difficult and unresponsive. Others treat couples like a number. Not Paul!
