I called, they gave me a quote and several days to decide. Once I decided, they send me a contract through email and I mailed back the contract with the check. The place is amazingly beautiful. The room was decorated very nicely. The staff were all very young, probably high school students and greeted us outside in the cold. Once everyone was inside, they service our food. The scones were delicious, tasted home made and the jams and creams were equally tasty. The sandwiches were okay, a little dry but the deserts were just as good as the scones. My only beef about the whole experience was that they used Stash tea bags for the afternoon tea. I mean anyone could buy those tea from the supermarkets. If you go to a place designated for afternoon tea, you would expect at least some loose leaf teas allowing the customers to smell, appreciate, and enjoy all the different tea flavors. If they had loose leaf tea, it would elevate the whole experience ten fold. Also, they had some sort of punch on the side, with no explanation and the punch pitcher did not work so guests couldn't really enjoy it until the very end. The house can host two parties, one on the second floor and the other one on the main floor. The owners live in the same building. There are plenty of parking at the house and also across the street because the owners own that too.

She was always available to speak and no detail was too small for an instant response. The day of the shower went seamlessly! I arrived early to add personal touches, but the entire space was set up for me as soon as I arrived and the staff was so accommodating in helping with anything I needed. As the guests began to arrive, they helped to greet everyone and it was both causal and formal at the same time as the staff passed around breakfast pastries for our brunch and refilled mimosas for everyone to grab upon arrival. When it came time to move into the next room for brunch, one of the two waiters working with us that day made the announcement and helped to guide everyone to their tables. The tables were set up beautifully! We chose to have the "mismatched tea cups" instead of the white ones and every guest commented how adorable and unique they were. The waiters brought a box of assorted tea bags over for each person to choose and everyone loved it! Originally, I planned to use the silk flowers as the centerpieces for the tables, but we upgraded to fresh cut. Even the silk flowers were beautiful and elegant- Corrine has beautiful taste in every piece of decor. Throughout the entire event everyone kept asking how I found out about The Tiffany Juliet House. Everyone was so impressed with the amazing service, the attention to detail ( the light fixtures, the carpet, the window treatments, molding- everything is beautiful inside). I cannot thank Corrine and her team enough for helping to make my friend's bridal shower such a wonderful and memorable event for everyone. They went above and beyond in planning and executing a flawless day and I can go on and on about how spectacular everything was- the food included!

"You Hit the Wrong Note Billy Goat" (Bill Haley and the…read moreComets) Bradley Mountain Farm was more fun than a Barrel full of ............Goats! We signed up for a 1:00 "Barnard Buddies" session. For ten bucks, we reserved our own bench at the fence that pens in their goats, were given a bag of goat food (compressed hay pellets), and enjoyed a half hour of Goat Wackiness. The fun began when the other 1:00 groups were escorted to our benches by our Guide. We immediately saw the goat herd march to the fence and follow us as to our benches. Obviously, they been through this a zillion times and knew there was chow on the way. I asked out guide if the goats can eat all day and was told yes--of course because goats have 4 stomachs. Another odd feature of the goat's anatomy is their eyes -they have bizarrely rectangular pupils. Apparently, their vulnerability to predators caused their eyes to evolve. They have a broad line of sight, and those rectangular-shaped pupils lets them better see danger approaching. We were instructed to hold the food pellets in our outstretched hand and let the goats "kiss" it out of our hands. It was so interesting to see hoe different goats had personalities -some were super mellow, while others were super aggressive and literally shoved their goat brothers and sisters out of the way to be fed. We did see a few males really go at each other with violent head butts, but our guide said that was normal. Go and take your kiddies and maybe you can take the goats for a walk on a leash or buy some "cuddle time" or Goat Yoga or Dress the Baby Goats in pajamas. I kid you not. They have a lot of activity options.

I was so disappointed, and when I went to the back to see the goats there was literally no goats there at all so we finally went to the side that had goats, and then a dog randomly started barking at us. The lady walked out of the door and told us to leave this was an extremely disappointing experience. The supervisor was really rude. and overall it was way too pricey and just a waste of time I would not recommend.1star

Have you ever been the only guest at a bed and breakfast?-- it's a little awkward. However, the inn is just beautiful. My room (room 3) was large and luxurious, with a door to the balcony outdoors. It is all immaculately clean, and the bed was super soft. The owners did their best to be unobtrusive. I didn't eat breakfast with them, so I can't comment on the food. There's a coffee maker in the room as well as in the common area. I adored that I could walk out the door and be so close to the coffee shops, stores, etc in Glastonbury. I ate supper at Plan B burger bar, because it's a five minute walk. I would absolutely return here next time I need to stay in town.

My fiancee emailed her on that day to confirm and when she got no response, texted her, but still no response. We arrived on time and after a few minutes of waiting around, Pat appeared and said she had forgotten that we were coming or the reason why were there, even asking if we had an appointment. As I said, the grounds are very nice. We had what we thought was a good conversation and were excited about the prospects of putting together our special day. Pat said "her printer wasn't working" and she couldn't print out the prices and details, but said she would email us the specifics. Welp, we're still waiting. My fiancee even emailed her the next day to say that we enjoyed meeting with her and she would look out for the materials. NO RESPONSE. It's simple courtesy to get back to people, not go silent on them, wasting everyone's time and resources. She "might" be able to handle smaller events (maybe a birthday party), but her abysmal lack of communication certainly doesn't instill confidence. And she'll probably respond to this poor review with some excuse - it's probably about the only time she'll be willing to communicate with us.

The restaurant wasn't too crowded, but there were still a fair number of people, which was nice. There were a few specials--chicken noodle soup, meatloaf, etc that seemed tempting as well. I know I'll have to get that next time! Because this appetizer stole the show. I absolutely will have to get it again next time. I got the fish and chips, which were stellar! They were heavy on the fish and a little lighter on the breading than I normally expect, which was nice. The fries and coleslaw were delicious too--I really loved the fries.
