I contracted with TAZ for $55,000 worth of cement work and landscaping. The crews for the most part…read moredid a good job but information was not always communicated to them so some things were left undone--several of the crew members told me this themselves. One thing I can say about TAZ after the work was "completed" is that, if you do choose to go with TAZ, get EVERYTHING in writing down to the smallest detail and make sure to get a signed copy of the original right when it's signed. Like the old saying goes, if it isn't written down, it doesn't exist. My advice? It doesn't hurt to get additional quotes from other licensed, bonded and insured concrete contractors with 5 star reviews who are capable of doing excellent work for less than one third the price. There are plenty of concrete contractors in town who do quality work with good communication skills, reasonable attitudes, and fair prices.

Do not use this company!! Horrible work and horrible customer service. Straight to the point - The…read morefinish isn't smooth, it's horribly bowed and the edges aren't straight they're concave!!! Below tells the full story... The brother of the owner is the one who does the work and he's great at communication but the work is nothing but bad. The owner's communication is horrible and the timeframe gets pushed back every single day! They are never close to on time when they say they will be at your house and never respond to your calls or text messages and when they do respond they make up soooo many excuses as to why they haven't communicated. All they had to do is pour a 14'x14' slab for me in my backyard. They poured the concrete and you can see in the photos of the results. They state the concrete came with too large of rock and too dry, yet they still poured it. An experienced contractor would know how the concrete should look when it arrives and they wouldn't use wheelbarrows to carry it from the front yard to the back, especially in 100+ degree weather. Needless to say it turned out horrible. So to fix the issue they poured a self leveler over that dried concrete and it did not fix the issues. Communication continued to be bad and when they finally got the self leveler poured see the results in the photos. I stressed that I wanted the slab level - not only is the slab at a big incline it's a bowed slab. It has a HUGE bow in it and there's no fixing that.

It's always an excuse and to make things worse it's not communicated until I reach out to ask if it's getting done. They also want everything paid upfront but are clearly so unreliable. We agreed the payment would be given once the job was complete, however, he kept asking for money prior to finishing because he didn't trust me. Which makes no sense. The one that ended up not being trust worthy was the worker! I was given a quote prior to the job which included "everything" all the weeds and trimming of all plants but then text me when he was doing the job saying it would be $100 extra if I wanted a bush trimmed. I asked why if he had mentioned everything would be included. He did not do it and then was blowing my phone up demanding the payment immediately. When I asked about the bush he said he would go back and trim it the next morning which he never did. I paid him and he then ignored all my text messages asking when he would be stopping by to trim the bush. He kept saying he was concerned I was going to "scam" him and didn't want to get screwed over , yet he ended up screwing me over. So unprofessional and would definitely not hire again!!! So disappointed.
