He somehow got it rolling and working correctly (a man on a mission!) and said there wouldn't be a charge for it(!!!!) ! Excellent communication from the moment the phone was answered, will be my top go to for any gate needs (I have a few!). Thanks Ron and thank you to Armor Fence & Masonry!

This review is an account of our experience with the fabrication & installation of a standard 2…read morefoot high, 300 foot wrought iron fence on top of our stucco wall around our property with 3 gates. Estimator Jesse took measurements and said the length of time was out 8-12 weeks for installation and take 2 days to install. I called the project coordinator to verify timeline, with the acknowledgment that they would try to do sooner. Over the proceding months there was no communication from the company. Unfortunately, we never heard from Armor unless I contacted them to find out the status. Almost 3 months later, I called the project coordinator for the 3rd time and found out they were supposed to go out that week and he forgot to let us know. I took a few days off from work & drove from out of state to be there. No one showed up for 3 days. I called the coordinator & he seemed surprised that they didn't show up. He called me back with information and promised they would be there Thursday morning. No one showed up that day and I called once again. Steve ensured me that they got stuck on another site but would be there Friday to start and Monday to finish. This meant that I could not return to work after taking an entire week off. Monday transpired and they didn't finish. There were 4-6 guys on the job-site, headed by a supervisor who was mostly standing around talking and watching or he was on his phone. The entire group would work for an approximately 15-25 minutes, then take a 40 minute break. All would congregate together either on the golf course or out in the driveway. Then they would depart at 9:30 am for an hour+ lunch break. I'm not one to micro-manage, but I noticed the sincere lack of motivation to finish the job. The metal screws they drilled into my stucco were done so haphazardly at an angle with large gaps between stucco and wrought iron and also left behind large holes with large areas of stucco missing in the surrounding. I purchased stucco and was restuccoing the areas myself as they were working. The supervisor offered to have one of his team do this if I gave them the stucco. At the end of the next day they said they did not get the right parts powder-coated and the company forgot to fabricate the 3 fence-gates. So, they would need to come back in a week or two. I gave them a specific two day window to schedule the final installation when I could be there which was approximately 3-weeks from that day. I once again took off work & drove back on that date. The crew never showed up and coordinator never called me. I gave up. Three more weeks transpired, and I got a call that the fence parts and gates were ready. I set it up for the soonest available, and drove back over to Arizona. Two guys showed up, Dakota and another gentleman. Dakota was very polite and respectful. They spend a day trying to hang one 40 inch gate. First they installed it to high, then they took it down and did it the correct height and got started on a second driveway gate. They realized they didn't have the correct parts powder-coated yet again for the self closing doors. They also didn't have time to finish the other 2 gates so they came back the next day with another 4 guys, some were part of the initial job. They all sat around and watched as one was drilling holes. They were loud, laughing shouting and overall just not a professional group. Although I was grateful that the job was finished, I wouldn't recommend using this company unless you have 4-6 months to wait.

The brother of the owner is the one who does the work and he's great at communication but the work is nothing but bad. The owner's communication is horrible and the timeframe gets pushed back every single day! They are never close to on time when they say they will be at your house and never respond to your calls or text messages and when they do respond they make up soooo many excuses as to why they haven't communicated. All they had to do is pour a 14'x14' slab for me in my backyard. They poured the concrete and you can see in the photos of the results. They state the concrete came with too large of rock and too dry, yet they still poured it. An experienced contractor would know how the concrete should look when it arrives and they wouldn't use wheelbarrows to carry it from the front yard to the back, especially in 100+ degree weather. Needless to say it turned out horrible. So to fix the issue they poured a self leveler over that dried concrete and it did not fix the issues. Communication continued to be bad and when they finally got the self leveler poured see the results in the photos. I stressed that I wanted the slab level - not only is the slab at a big incline it's a bowed slab. It has a HUGE bow in it and there's no fixing that.

They'll tell you the job will be done "tomorrow at 5am, 100%" and it gets pushed back everyday! It's always an excuse and to make things worse it's not communicated until I reach out to ask if it's getting done. They also want everything paid upfront but are clearly so unreliable. We agreed the payment would be given once the job was complete, however, he kept asking for money prior to finishing because he didn't trust me. Which makes no sense. The one that ended up not being trust worthy was the worker! I was given a quote prior to the job which included "everything" all the weeds and trimming of all plants but then text me when he was doing the job saying it would be $100 extra if I wanted a bush trimmed. I asked why if he had mentioned everything would be included. He did not do it and then was blowing my phone up demanding the payment immediately. When I asked about the bush he said he would go back and trim it the next morning which he never did. I paid him and he then ignored all my text messages asking when he would be stopping by to trim the bush. He kept saying he was concerned I was going to "scam" him and didn't want to get screwed over , yet he ended up screwing me over. So unprofessional and would definitely not hire again!!! So disappointed.
