I was highly dissatisfied with the "service" I received from Mainly Electrical. The renovation on…read moremy home was delayed by 5 months due to things being done incorrectly and untimely. They had a helper performing most of the work without oversight by a master electrician. I needed a 200 amp service done which required coordination with CMP. On the day this was scheduled, Mainly Electrical showed up unprepared and they were unwilling to dig the hole required to have the service done. This was rescheduled with CMP (after I found someone else to dig the hole). At this point it had rained. Once again, Mainly Electrical was not helpful. Rather than taking the time to pump out the water, they said they needed to schedule for a third attempt. I had to pump the water out myself to make sure there were no further delays. At the third attempt to get this done, Dom (the owner of the company) said that he couldnt complete the job and said there was something that needed to be fixed from CMPs end. Rather than waiting for CMP to arrive, he left. It was then discovered that there was a dead leg (something that should have been fixed by the electrician). Not once did Dom take accountability for any of this and continued to blame others for the issues not being resolved. At this point, I decided it was time to discontinue partnership with Mainly Electrical and hire a new electrician to get the job done. Within less than 30 minutes, the new electrician was able to complete the tasks needed for set up of our 200amp service. In addition to this, other electrical errors were discovered that then needed to be fixed. Regardless of this, I was still charged (and found out later I was overcharged). Due to his lack of communication, lack of sense of urgency, lack of accountability, and his unprofessionalism, I would never recommend Dom and his company for electrical needs (big or small). Save yourself the headache and hassle and look elsewhere.

I particularly don't want to reveal how quickly Darrel can swing into action in an emergency. I don't understand why other contractors are so hard to schedule, but Darrel is the most accommodating tradesmen I have ever encountered. I suppose it won't be that risky to vouch for his high expertise and the efficiency with which he solves house wiring problems. Probably won't hurt to mention what a good guy he is and how well he explains what he is proposing to do or what he has done. He respects one's intelligence. Ok, ok, so his charges are reasonable, too. So anyway, as a favor to me, please don't hire Darrell for at least a few years so that I can have as much of his time as I want. I'm pretty old and you young people can afford to wait a while. If you are unwilling to grant my favor and you do hire Darrel, you will be getting the best electrician around. But maybe YOU could hold off on recommending him to others for enough time for Darrel to complete my projects. Contractors these days seem more interested in the big jobs than the everyday small ones we all have eventually. P&D concentrates on what he called the "Mom & Pop" jobs. It was a good thing for me - turns out my "small" job was a potentially very dangerous one, and P&D very likely save me from a fire. Cannot possibly recommend P&D more!

Our fabulous plumbers (Bradbury's Plumbing and Heating) had recommended Rottari Electric and we were so pleased to have found Bob. It felt like everyone in the state of Maine was looking for a generator, there were none to be had, online, in Home Depot, in Loews etc. Bob was amazing, he contacted all of his usual generator sources, helped us with our online search and handled all of my stupid questions about 8Kw vs 17Kw happily. When the propane company kept changing the day they would be coming to install the propane tank Bob was totally flexible with the install of the generator. He was even happy to have the generator shipped to his home rather than leaving it unattended at our home as I wouldn't be there for two days when it was due to arrive. On the day of the installation he was prompt and he happily helped remove a small area of a fence (required by the propane company) which was totally above and beyond what we had asked him to do. Our generator has been installed for a month now and just tonight I had another stupid question about the switches in the panel when one of our lights fused. Bob responded to my email in less than an hour even though it was evening, he explained the answer very simply so even I could manage it :) I would recommend Rottari Electrical to anyone needing any kind of residential electrical work - from generator installs to other projects - Bob is trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional.

Greetings…read more I had a faulty GFI outlet in the kitchen that I replaced in only achieving the same results (NO POWER) LOL ! AC line dead ! Wire Right tech (Bret) promptly arrived , and troubleshooted the issue in matter of minutes ! The issue was at another GFI outlet that appeared to be working correctly ! However, there was no ac load leading to the failed GFI outlet ! Bret installed the new GFI that I purchased in replacement of failed GFI , and installed a standard outlet I had on hand in place of the GFI that had the (NO Power) issue ! Bret explained that there's no need for two GFIs since one GFI is safeguarding two places ! AWE ! Therefore , the wife and I would appreciate acknowledgement to Bret at Wire Right for his professional demeaner as their tech in promptly resolving the issue at hand !
