The location is ideal for exploring central London, with many attractions within walking distance. Green Park is right across the street, while Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace are also a short walk away. There are many places to shop such as Bond Street, Knightsbridge, and Oxford Street not too far away. Piccadilly Circus, the West End, and Leicester Square are within a 10-20 minute walk. We attended Phantom of the Opera in His Majesty's Theatre which was about a 25 minute walk. If you enjoy art and/or museums The Royal Academy of Arts, The National Gallery, and the British Museum are also nearby.

The hotel makes it clear that Bonvoy status does not mean much here. We were told that unless you book a park view room, your Ambassador Elite status will not get you one. Instead, we were placed in a room facing a brick wall. Status does not guarantee upgrades, but the way it was communicated was unnecessary. Room 1 had a broken AC system, which forced us to pack everything up and move. At least that room had decent storage. Room 2, the one they reassigned us to, was smaller, faced another brick wall, and had less storage than the first. It also had an oversized desk that took up far too much space. In a London hotel room, where space is already tight, it made the layout awkward enough that you had to walk sideways around the bed. Housekeeping was another issue. The hotel looked clean overall, but one day we returned to find a toilet cleaning brush sitting in the sink. It had clearly been used in the bowl. That is not something you expect to see in any hotel, let alone one at this level. The hotel was also stingy with towels. Even when requesting extras through the Bonvoy app, they did not reliably show up. The lounge food was the same every day, with no variation at all. It gets boring quickly. Tons of construction has the backside street of the hotel closed to vehicles and the jack hammering during the day was dreadful. Check to see if their is active construction before you select this location for your stay. Security was not ideal. The building has access points from two different streets, and there were several nights around midnight when nobody was at the front desk and nobody watching the doors. For a major London hotel, that is not reassuring. Great location and a historic building, but the service culture, attention to detail, security, and treatment of loyal Bonvoy members all need improvement.

I am a collector of Conrad and Waldorf plush toys and knew that Monty the bulldog was a dream plush to collect! I reached out to guest services prior to my visit and they held one aside for me. Unfortunately, they only had one, so my guest was unable to go home with his very own. * CHECK IN * I arrived to the property around 1 PM and knew that early check-in might not be possible. Still, I figured I would at least try to see if it was ready and if there were any complimentary upgrades. They unfortunately did not have any prior to my arrival nor by the time I checked in, but they were able to let me into the executive lounge while I waited for my room. The bell desk also took my baggage during this time. * KING DELUXE ROOM * The room itself is quite nice, though a bit subtle in color. It features a king size bed with a view of the underground (I was in room 518), separate bath and shower, and branded robes but plain slippers. I believe there were 2 glasses of complimentary waters as well. I believe they also provided me with a touch of chocolates as I let them know it was my birthday and by the time I checked in to the room, they had also brought my luggage in. * EXECUTIVE LOUNGE * Truly one of the better lounges I've been to, but no surprise for a Conrad hotel. The breakfast spread had scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and an assortment of fruits, granola, and pastries (like pain au chocolat, mini croissants) for you to choose from. They also have a small selection of cold and hot drinks that are in glass bottles like still and sparkling water, sodas, and beer/wine for the afternoon service. The coffee and tea machine has a decent selection as well and you can brew a teapot on your own. The afternoon service includes light refreshments. I enjoyed the smoked salmon and cocktails, and overall it was a decent light snack. One of the best features of the executive lounge is that they have 2 separate toilets with a walk-in shower. It really helped to be able to shower right after landing, because my room wasn't ready yet and I was able to explore the town quickly. * OVERALL * Overall, I had a short but rather enjoyable stay. I felt that for the experience I had, it definitely warranted 4 stars but could have been improved by the customer service. Though I felt that they made efforts to accommodate me as early as possible, the housekeeping was rushed and the bath amenities had no product in them, and it was a bit disappointing that Monty was just left on the nightstand covered in plastic with a box of chocolates that I had no idea was for anything celebratory as there was no handwritten note. I understand that this is a bit nitpicky, but felt that the overall tone of customer service could have been improved. However, despite all things, I still had a lovely time and hope to return in the future and am still appreciative of their collective efforts. (22/50--2025)

It was…read morean absolute glorious hotel for of grand Victorian ceilings and elegant nouveau furnishings and style. We spent four nights at the St. Pancras in a lovely room with. A cozy long sized bed and sofa to lounge when we needed to chill without lying down. There was ample closet space and some shelving to putting away clothes. The desk area was very nice and roomy with a nice style about it. The lamps had good lighting that was warm and inviting. The bathroom had good water pressure and sink space to place all toiletries. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to use the amenities at their spa when our room wasn't ready and we needed to clean up from the all-day travels we had spent since the day before coming over from the States. Staying at the hotel is an experience from the fact that this Victorian building used to be the original train station for St. Pancras. They have repurposed the high-ceiling gothic interior that originally served for the meeting and ticketing offices for the main lobby area and the Booking Office 1869 bar. The grandeur of the design is allowed to fully take place in the superb elements of fine dining and comforting relaxation. The Booking Office Bar & Restaurant was a mainstay for us during our time at the hotel. It's difficult not to want to check out the Victorian splendor of that interior while enjoying delicious cocktails and food at the bar or one of the nearby tables. While we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the Victorian Punch Hour that was at 5:05 each afternoon, it is something of heard to check out if you can. In addition to the Booking Office, there is the Hansom in the lobby, the Seasonal Terrance for wine hour, MI + ME, and the Gothic Bar. The latter of which was also quite magical with its Victorian design and grand luxurious interior with darkly warm lighting and creative cocktail menu. Located next to King's Cross Station in addition to St. Pancras International Station, you have immediate access to the high-speed rail system that takes you as far north as Scotland and south throughout the heart of Europe. You have one of the central hubs to multiple Underground rail stations that can take you all through Central London and its outskirts. You are also a very short walking distance from both the British Library and the British Museum. Like literally across the street close. The St. Pancras was an excellent choice for a hotel during our stay in Central London. I hope we can return again when set our course back across the pond.

The rooms are tight but this is to be expected when staying in very popular, major city locations. The beds were wonderful; we slept very well. The bathrooms have clouded glass toilet and shower stalls which make for easy sharing of the room with family. The staff were absolutely wonderful...the were probably the best part of the stay. They were warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and willing to assist with whatever you need. The only criticism I have is that the hotel is showing its age and could use a refresh. However, this would not deter us from staying again in the future. All in all, a great hotel!

As others have said, this hotel is located next to the London Eye and Big Ben... and overlooking the Thames River, which is really cool the first night you're there, but after a night or two, the traffic in the area gets a bit old. We did pay a pretty penny to stay here and with that came breakfast for two each day in Gilray's Steakhouse, which we took full advantage of each day. The view from both Gilray's and from our room were great. Unfortunately, the gym was under renovation when we were there, so they had a room full of equipment for guests to use, which was adequate, but definitely not the same as having a full fitness room. They did have a *slightly heated* lap pool as well. My daughter and I swam in it on our last night. I would have preferred for it to be more heated and/or to have a hot tub available too... The staff at this hotel were all nice enough including the front desk, concierge, bellmen, etc... I don't think we'll be returning to London anytime soon but if we do, I'd probably try a hotel elsewhere.

Being a Gold member, I was able to enjoy the European style breakfast, which I had no complaints about. The hotel is centrally located in the West End area. Theaters and plenty of various restaurants were within walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to my next stay.
