Over the first few years of living in our new home, we had to replace a couple of big ticket items that any experienced home inspector would have seen right away. He never even went on the roof to inspect the shingles or chimney, he eyeballed it from the ground. Not only did he miss many other little things, but almost caused more damage by being in the house. He was "inspecting" the stove in the kitchen. So he turned it on and walked away without checking to see if the previous owners stored anything in it. We come back to a kitchen full of smoke. In the end, this was not only a waste of my money to pay Paul and Allied Home Inspection, but has cost me a lot of additional money in repairs and work where the house needed to be brought up to code. Would never recommend. Hope this helps out future home buyers to save their time and money.
