They were both so yummy. Halo Halo is a classic but the caramel con heilo knocks it out of the park. I love how the flan goes well with the saba bananas and ice cream. At P35 to P50 per stick of between 4 to 5 pieces, it really is among the best budget options there is. But what really sets them apart are two things: the rice and the sauce. Both very good and served in really generous portions. The rice is available in Hainanese *(the green version with a hint of pandan taste) and lemak (garlic rice). The sauce is light soy with a lot of chili garlic paste. Any of their dumplings +rice + sauce really makes a filling budget meal. They also have a huge porkchop set in some of their stores. Its so big it needs a special container if you are getting it to go. Good enough to be shared by two.

It's cheaper too but the portions are smaller and for this one in Food Choices, Glorietta 4, the cook tends to be heavy handed with the pepper and salt. Ask nicely though and he will lessen the condiments as you wish. The quality and taste of the ingredients do remain the same though. One small inconvenience is that the Honey Brown sauce and the Soy Garlic sauce used in the flavoring of your meal are in big sauce bottles that you cannot take back to your table. They stay at the counter for the use of the next counter. This wouldn't be much of an inconvenience if they provided small containers for you fill up with your sauce of choice and take back to your table, but they don't. Food-wise and budget-wise, it's still one of the better choices in the Glorietta food court for one to stop by and eat.
