I was a little nervous because most of the reviews mentioned that the employees/artists were rude. When we got there though that was very quickly changed. There was one guy greeting everyone and getting them situated with paperwork while the rest were doing tattoos. He was super nice and helpful! It seems like a really laid back and fun place to be. The guy thag did my tattoo was great too. I have chronic hives and apologized because they were all over the arm he was tattooing. He made me feel. Comfortable and even made sure that the products they were going to use on my skin wasn't going to irritate it even more. That went along way for me. This place was very clean, noticeably clean! The whole experience lasted about 2 hours (there were three of us and we were doing the buy one get one free). Would absolutely recommend read more

so i was down on spring break and my friend wanted me to get a belly button piercing. don't get me wrong the service was good, but my piercing was pierced WRONG!! it was supposed to be measured at 8 but was measured at 16!! i went to my local piercing place and they said it was completely done wrong! do not recommend this place!! read more

I went to Mango Beach to get my nose pierced and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and professional everything was. I've had my nose pierced twice before so I know what to expect and the piercer (John?) did a great job. The only weird part is that you need to go into the Monkey Shack store a few doors down to sign your paperwork and pay for your piercing jewelry. It's A nice store but just feels a little cramped and dirty with all the birds and animals walking around and pooping on the floor. If the guys at Mango Beach could take the paperwork and payments there, I think the process would be perfect. I also love that the shop is white and bright! Such a different vibe from many of the dark and moody shops that can be intimidating to step into. I deffinetly recommend! read more

I cannot believe the lack of care and human decency I experienced at this place. I left traumatized and holding back tears after a twice failed septum piercing. The piercer was careless and not only pierced it entirely crooked but did it way too far out to the tip of my nose, a placement I had specifically stated I didn't want. After piercing it crookedly, he blamed my nose and claimed that septum piercings are really hard to do. So, against my better judgment, I let him do it again, thinking there's no way he would fail twice. The second piercing was worse than the first, the hole was so low on one side it was literally on the very tip of my nose and visible. It could not have been any lower. He then tried to blame my anatomy again and said he would give me a refund if the third attempt also didn't work. I declined being pierced a third time as that sounded dangerous from a structural standpoint, but he seemed not to care or be concerned about proper procedures in the slightest. He was also not communicative at all. I feel if I had let him do it a third time, I would have left with a mutilated septum, given the size of the needle. He asked me at one point at the end if I was okay, and I said no, not really, and he responded with, "since he's giving me a refund, 'no harm, no foul.'" He literally saw me crying and couldn't care less about his actions. A simple, "I'm sorry this happened," would have been somewhat sufficient. In retrospect, if I seek to get the piercing somewhere else, I will make sure they have the proper clamp as I will not be letting someone freehand the piercing again. read more

We were eating ice cream at the ice cream shop next door. My two girls knocked on the door and waved at them and they came out and told them not to touch their windows with sticky hands and told my husband they were beating on the windows. We were standing right there so we know for a fact they weren't doing anything wrong. He said they were just waving and she replied "they were beating on the windows" very snotty. Also there is a monkey picture right by their door where you stand behind and put your face in the hole so I would think they would be used to kids being around. Not friendly at all. If you don't like kids then relocate. You are next to an ice cream shop! read more

Place was cool, price was pretty fair based off other local shops, walk in shops usually charge a tad bit more rather appointment only shops. The guys in there were all chill process was quick and easy. Chris was the guy who tatted me up and dudes an artist and his work was amazing def recommend him. This place was a total joke. I brought my mom in who has zero tattoos and is 50 years old who knows nothing about pricing when it comes to tattoo sizes and colors all that. They tried to tell her it would be $200 for a fucking tiny triangle on her wrist with the letters HAN tiny and the guy who drew it up was the laziest prick leaning back in his seat with zero effort and using his own handwriting that looked like a server writing down a sloppy order. I am quite literally covered in tattoos and have all shapes and sizes and been to plenty of tattoo shops to know that this place was a total joke!!!!!!! Not worth it!!! read more

They over quoted a price but figured it's peak season so whatever. We did and as my sister are getting tattooed one of the artist is making fun of our small tattoo.. Went in to get my third tattoo, and couldn't ask for a better experience. I went in two days before I planned on actually getting my tattoo and got advice and an estimate for how much it would be. Came back two days later and they remembered me and were quick to pull up what I wanted and help me get the best fitting tattoo for the back of my calf. My artist was quick, talented, and friendly. My wife also got a tattoo and had a great artist as well. When I return to PCB I will be going back for another tattoo. read more

This tattoo and piercing place was good. The decor was clean but you had to go to a separate building to pay. The lady at the register who took care of us seemed to be in a hurry with the customers. When she adjusted the place where I wanted the piercing she seemed a bit irritated and wanted to get it over with. Afterwards, when my friend did her belly button piercing the lady who did it seemed to be a bit flustered but she calmed herself and finished it. Other than that I think it's a good place to go for piercings and the explanations on how to clean them were thorough. read more

The girl showed me a drawing of a seashell, maybe an inch in size. Should have been 50 bucks at most. She was going to charge me 90. It took everything in me not to laugh out loud. She asked my friend who has no tattoos if she was getting anything. She told her she'd have to be drunk to ever consider it and she said "oh you can totally drink before coming here just don't make it obvious." A real professional tattoo artist would know that's stupid, illegal, and unsafe. Only reason I'm not giving it one star is because she was super sweet. Their prices were just ridiculous. read more

staff was nice and building was clean! however.. I would not recommend getting a tattoo here! overcharged and the quality of the writing on my tattoo was light and faded out, some areas the ink writing bled and was not clean lines for it to be a single word with little detail. I tried to get it touched up the next couple days while I was still there on vacation, and was declined and said it needed to heal. very disappointed. please do research else where before going here. read more
