Decided to finally get a tattoo I've wanted for many years, so I asked a man I met at a gas station who had several beautiful tattoos if he could recommend someone. Not only did he tell me about Seventh Seal, he called his artist, Patrick, and asked if Patrick could fit me into his schedule (I was on vacation with limited time left). Patrick called me, discussed what I wanted, and then made time to see me before I left PCB. I am thrilled with the results!! The tattoo is nothing elaborate but it means the world to me. I came to Seventh Seal Tattoo as a walk-in on Sunday, February 25th. I was met by artist Chris, who came to the front desk and asked me what I wanted done. I realized as I was walking to his chair that he hadn't even introduced himself, so I took the initiative to do so. I showed Chris a copy of my dad's signature, where I wanted it to go, and how I wanted it to look. My dad is no longer with us and this tattoo is very meaningful to me. My dad's name is Brian P. Gerry. When Chris was finished, it, excuse my French, looked like shit. Let me remind you, the tattoo is simply a signature. The "i" was squiggly where it was obviously not supposed to be squiggly. The "a" connected to the "n" like it was an "o," to the point where I asked him after the fact, "you do know his name is Brian right?" I'm still not sure if he did. The "r's" in my dad's signature are spaced out PERFECTLY. One of the "r's" in Chris's tattoo looks shapeless while the other one just looks like a giant blob of black ink. There's a "y" in the end of his last name that was also squiggly where it was obviously not supposed to be. I couldn't see my tattoo being done, because of the way Chris was holding my finger but, at one point, I looked over and felt like his hand was shaking. I looked away thinking, maybe it's fine and I don't want to make him nervous. The arm board I was resting my arm on was also not secure AT ALL. I mentioned something to him to which he said, "it's ok, I just hold it steady with my legs." I walked to the front desk, where Chris waved bye and walked away. I realized as I was walking to the car, that I had received NO aftercare instructions. It's now going to cost me over half a year and four times the amount of money I paid for the tattoo to get it off of my skin. If I were to keep it, it wouldn't remind me of my dad, it would remind me of an awful choice I made one Sunday afternoon that lasted less than an hour but will haunt me and my wallet for months to come. That day, when I got home, I reached out to shop owner Gayle on Facebook. As of now, Sunday, March 3rd, she has not responded. read more

Needed a cover up. I carefully scheduled my appointment and paid my deposit. The artist canceled 3 times. Life gets in the way I get it. Finally 4th reschedule it happens and I get my tattoo, although unfinished. I did receive a $300 credit which covered the cost of that session. Satisfied with the work, I heavily tipped my artist and rescheduled for months later, as they are busy. Again, we play the reschedule game 3 more times and it never happens. I'm a busy guy and I don't rush things. So, 2 years later I want to finish the tattoo. Again, I play the reschedule game with 7th Seal and the artist. 4 reschedules later they tell me I will get a credit of unknown amount. But they never get me a date/appointment. At this point I don't care. I'll take my time and business elsewhere. I work for a living and I am a single dad. Life is busy, but I make my appointments and show up. 7th Seal has trouble doing that. I guess the only thing they didn't do was follow up and reschedule me. But when this goes on for weeks and months. Its a bummer. I had good work done, but my time is valuable. I cannot recommend 7th Seal. Oh and their communication is HORRIBLE! read more

Booked and appointment. Told them we were out of state visitors. Booked 4 appointments and paid a deposit. They were an hour and 20 minutes late to even begin the process. We're not able to do 2 of the tattoos as requested. Asked for our money back after an hour. They refused. Receptionists was not polite. When I decided to get my first tattoo I did a lot of research. What, when, where...and although my "where and when" was changed unexpectedly I am so happy I went with this gallery. From the guy at the front to my artist Gabe my friends and I felt welcomed and I felt at ease which is huge for me being that it is my first. My tattoo is in cyrillic and I was worried that it would be harder for someone to get right..Gabe was spot on. He even made adjustments and recommendations as needed on how to make it better or prevent it from aging badly. He made me feel at ease and explained everything. Today was my first time getting tattooed at Seventh Seal. I was starting a leg sleeve with a WW2 theme. From the beginning I had a great experience that started with email communication with the artist Jerry Pipkins. We exchanged some ideas via email and setup a series of appointments. The week prior to my appointment I went into the shop and talked things over and confirmed the time for my appointment. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The shop helper was also very friendly. On the day of the tattoo Jerry had some suggestions to make the overall tattoo flow and look better. He put it all together on some printouts for me to look at. It was amazing. Way better than what I had imagined in my head. He got the transfer ready, onto my leg, and off we went. He was friendly and professional throughout the entire tattoo. I'm looking forward to getting the rest of my leg done. I would definitely recommend Seventh Seal to anyone looking at getting a tattoo. So I followed Gayle to this shop when it opened and she went here. She is my favorite tattoo artist and has done almost all my work for years. I came here because I was having an issue with my nape piercing. Beaux saw me immediately. He was very informative about what could be going on with my piercing. Gave me some advice, which I followed adamantly. Within a week or so the problem went away. He even went out of his way to follow up with me to make sure things were going smoothly. About a month ago I decided it was finally time to get a tattoo, my very first. I had the perfect idea for this piece and I could not wait. But, I knew absolutely NOTHING about tattoos. I was completely lost, so I just did some research. I mean, this is permanent, it had to be perfect. Upon my quest to finding out how to get this perfect tattoo, I discovered Seventh Seal Tattoo. I was immediately amazed by all of the great tattoos being produced by these great people. I knew I wanted a ton of color, so I immediately drew towards Sam's art. I shot him an email and he was rather quick to respond. That same day I was around the area of the shop and I decided I'd go see what it was all about. So I just stopped by to check to place out. Again, not knowing much about anything. That is when I was greeted by Joyful. I explained to her that I had emailed Sam and we were trying to figure out a time for a consultation, but I was just really nervous and wanted to see what I was getting my self into. She immediately eased my mind. She was extremely helpful, like I feel like she could teach a class on this stuff. She was super knowledgeable about anything I had to ask. Later on I set up my consultation with Sam and that went very well, I truly felt he knew exactly what I wanted. I set up my appointment and was super stoked. It came to the day of my appointment and as expected, I was extremely nervous. But when Sam started I became extremely comfortable. I had a rather long session, I guess, for my first time. But it literally flew by. EVERYONE in the shop was extremely friendly and made me feel that much more comfortable. I really enjoyed the other artists coming to check out what Sam was doing. I was ECSTATIC when we finished, because what Sam did was spectacular! It was everything I had imagined. I still have another session to add the color, but I just couldn't wait to review. most unprofessional tattoo place I've ever tried to work with, holly is most unprofessional artist I've ever seen. put down deposit for tattoo and made appointment for a multiple hour tattoo session. texts me after I'm already travelling there for the appointment and cancels it saying it was my responsibility to chase her down to make sure the art is ok during a small window the day before. never showed me any sketches or ideas... did she even draw anything or just covering up for her lack of work ethic. talked to the owner who I thought was reasonable by changing artists, only to find out it was an upsell to a more expensive artist. total bait and switch! thank God I paid by credit card! buyer beware of no refund policy written on your receipt (after you paid of course)! you have cardholder rights and I recommend using then if you find yourself in this position like I was! read more
